SOUTH BEND - Annie Mae Allen, 86, of 130 S. Falcon, died Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Survivors include a daughter, Beulah M. Brown of Chicago; and a brother, Jessie Griffin of South Bend. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Greater Friendship Baptist Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Alford's Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Esther L. Annis
Nov. 15, 1908-Jan. 20, 1998
NORTH LIBERTY - Esther L. Annis, 89, of 63723 Thorn Road, died Tuesday in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton. Survivors include her husband, William C.; four daughters, Linda Paul and Nancy Niespodziany, both of North Liberty, Susan Leonard of Niles and Marilyn Kuspa of Mishawaka; two sons, Dwight of North Liberty and Michael of Walkerton; a sister, Beulah Chabera of South Bend; and a brother, Robert Whitmer of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in North Liberty Church of Christ. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday in A.M. Manuel Funeral Home.

Robert A. Brucker
April 3, 1911-Jan. 21, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Robert A. Brucker, 86, of St. Paul's Retirement Center, died Wednesday in his home. Survivors include his wife, Constance "Connie"; and two daughters, Jane Love of South Bend and Ann Boggs of Peru, Ind. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Matthew's Cathedral. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Pearlie Cooper
Aug. 22, 1924-Jan. 17, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Pearlie Cooper, 73, of Newark, N.J., formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in her home. Survivors include a son, Freddie Lee Price of Detroit. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Alford's Mortuary, where friends may call one hour before services.

Delmar L. Danner

SOUTH BEND - Delmar L. Danner, 63, of Longfellow Avenue, died Wednesday in Hospice House. Survivors include his wife, Anne-Jeanette (Andy); two daughters, Gayle S. and Karen S., both of Chandler, Ariz.; two sons, David L. of Oakdale, Calif., and Douglas A. of South Bend; two sisters, Betty M. Wilson of Orlando, Fla., and Louise Cook of Bradenton, Fla.; and two brothers, Virgil S. Jr. of Niles and Richard W. of South Bend. Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Sunnyside Presbyterian Church. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Palmer Funeral Home-South Bend.

SOUTH BEND - Conrad P. Kriedberg, 85, of Ridgedale Road, died Monday in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. (Ruick); a sister, Dorothy Dworsky-Seltser of Minneapolis; and a brother, Marvin of Minneapolis. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. today in United Hebrew Brotherhood Cemetery, Minneapolis. McGann Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Joseph S. Kujawski
Dec. 28, 1911-Jan. 18, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Joseph S. Kujawski, 86, of U.S. 20 West, died Sunday in his home. Survivors include three daughters, M. Evelyn Teske of South Bend, Dorothy M. Carrico of Greenfield Center, N.Y., and June A. Stroud of Granger; and a sister, Dorothy Jamrozy of Centerville, Ohio. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m.

Hazel J. Marker
April 10, 1900-Jan. 21, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Hazel J. Marker, 97, of Ironwood Road, died Wednesday in Mitchell's Country Care. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn J. Lael of Pensacola, Fla. Memorial services will be at a later date. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road.

Roland F. Nelson
June 9, 1971-Jan. 18, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Roland Frazier Nelson, 26, of 530 Allen St., died Sunday at 1149 N. Johnson St. St. Joseph County Coroner Charles Hurley ruled the death a homicide. Survivors include two daughters, Nadia Nelson and Rolanda A. Nelson, both of South Bend; two sons, DeAndre Nelson and Jamil Plump, both of South Bend; his mother, Gloria Timberlake of South Bend; and three sisters, Teresa Young and Donna Nelson, both of South Bend, and Ella Nelson of Elkhart. There will be no services. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday in Clark Funeral Chapel.
