Lyle S. Osborne
Lyle S. "Ozzie" Osborne, 72, of Whiteland, died from natural causes Jan. 25, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers in Beech Grove.
Born March 23, 1927, in Mansfield, Ill., he was the son of Hollie Clyde and Grace (Riggleman) Osborne.
Osborne was employed for 39 years by General Motors as a machinist with the Truck & Bus Group, retiring in 1991.
He was a charter member of Whiteland VFW Post 6878 and a life member of Greenwood American Legion Post 52. He was involved with the West Whiteland Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1950s and early 1960s and was also involved with building the current New Whiteland Fire Station.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include two sons, David S. Osborne of Parke County and Jeffrey A Osborne of Prince's Lakes; one daughter, Sharon A. Wechsler of Indianapolis; five brothers, Clyde Osborne and Arvin Osborne, both of Kansas City, Kan., Paul Osborne of Greenwood, Clifford Osborne of Columbus and Larry Osborne of Austin, Minn.; nine sisters, Kate Knope of Mansfield, Ill., Opal Walker of Franklin, Betty Freeman of Shelbyville, Dorothy Abney of Columbus, Eleanor Obos of Gurnee, Ill., Helen Dimos of Oxford, Calif., Louise Shearin of Morgantown, Carolyn Taylor of Speedway and Audry Goudy of Ellington, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. The Rev. John Mannion will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Robert W. Baker
Robert W. Baker, 38, of Stilesville, died from natural causes at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 7, 1998, in Stilesville. He was a lifelong Stilesville resident.
Born Jan. 8, 1959, in Greencastle, he was the son of Edward Wayne and Martha L. Pender Baker.
Baker graduated from Eminence High School in 1977.
He had been employed as a machinist at Federal Mogul in Mooresville for five years. Prior to that he had been a machinist for Rose Engineering in Indianapolis for two years.
He was a member of Mount Taber Christian Church in Crown Center.
Other survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Kern of Eminence and Brenda Jackson of Stilesville; and two brothers, Lyle Baker of Coatesville and Jeffery Baker of Stilesville.
The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. The Rev. Homer Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Monrovia.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Methodist Hospice Care.
Robert D. Clipp
Robert Dean Clipp, 76, of Leesburg, Fla., died from natural causes at 7:52 a.m. Jan. 7, 1998, at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center. He had lived in Campbellsburg for 38 years, lived at Mooresville from 1959 to 1992, when he moved to Leesburg.
Born May 11. 1921, in Campbellsburg, he was the son of Harry and Neva Jackson Clipp, both deceased. He married Olive Sampson May 5, 1946. She survives in Leesburg.
Clipp owned and operated the Mooresville Welding Shop from 1974 to 1991. He had previously been an employee there in 1959.
He was a member of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis Murat Shrine and Indianapolis Valley of Scottish Rite.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Other survivors include a daughter, Diane Van Wanzeele of Dover, Fla.; a stepmother, Edith Clipp or Orleans; seven brothers, John and Roger Clipp of Jeffersonville; Jim Clipp of New Whiteland, Ronald, Bill and Dan Clipp of Orleans and Joe Clipp of Columbus; eight sisters, Lula May Knapp and Catherine Riley of Campbellsburg, Mildred Suddarth and Peggy Williams of Orleans, Louise Warren of Louisville, Ky., Molly Miles of Richmond, Ky., Carolyn Ransom of Jeffersonville, and Alice Sawyer of Sellersburg; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 12, 1998, at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. The Rev. Hubert Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
Theresa M. Gwinn
Theresa Margaret Gardner Gwinn, 78, of Mooresville, died from natural causes Jan. 7, 1998, at Hendricks Community Hospital in Danville.
The daughter of John Conrad and Nettie Jane Gardner, both deceased, she was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Indianapolis. She married Asabel Ralph Gwinn July 8, 1939.
Mrs. Gwinn retired in 1983 after working 10 years in the Accounts Payable and Receivable Department of INB National Bank. She then worked five years as a greeter for the Mooresville Kroger Store.
Survivors include a son, John A. Gwinn of Bridgeport; two daughters, Margaret M. Cosand of Franklin and N. Louise Craig of Indianapolis; a brother, Albert J. Gardner of Lackawanna, N.Y.; a sister, Ethel Mae Haile of Searcy, Ark.; seven grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter, Michele Wells, preceded her in death.
The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville. The Rev. Stephen Jarrell will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday during calling hours.

June E. Davis
June E. Richards Davis, 61, of Greenwood, died from natural causes Jan. 5, 1998, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
The daughter of Gilbert and Susie Marie Simpson Richards, she was born Nov. 28, 1936, in Linertz, Tenn. She married Harold Davis Sr., who survives.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker.
Other survivors include three sons, Harold G. Davis Jr., Johnny and Kevin Lee Davis, all of Indianapolis; a daughter, Karen Sue Robbins of Monrovia; three sisters, Betty Martin of Eminence, Christine Shelton of Greencastle and Pauline Wages of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two brothers, Bill Richards of Champagne, Ill., and Benny Richards of Ypsilanti, Mich.; and 12 grandchildren.
A son, David Allen Davis, preceded her in death.
The service will be at 2:30 today at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until time of service today.

Emma Frances Perry
Emma Frances Perry, 79, 1210 E. Washington St., died from natural causes on Jan. 8, 1998 at Morgan County Memorial Hospital.
The daughter of Fred L. and Bernice Shireman Perry, both deceased, she was born on June 24, 1918 in Martinsville.
Miss Perry graduated from Martinsville High School in 1936. She was a federal employee and had worked at Camp Atterbury and later at the Army Recruiting Station in Indianapolis. She had been a 50-year member of the Home Industrial Circle.
She is survived by her brother, Maurice Perry of Martinsville and two nephews, Jack Perry of Martinsville and Donald L. Perry of Chesterfield, MO.
An infant sister preceded her in death.
The service will be Saturday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. at Costin Funeral Chapel, 539 E. Washington St. The Rev. Eric Kersey will officiate.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
Myla Taylor
Rites are pending at Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville for Myla Poe Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor, 73, of Mooresville, died this morning, Jan. 8, 1998, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
She was the widow of William Taylor.
