Survivors include a son, Charles E. Shroyer of Elkhart; two sisters, Onda Vae Sutton and Alice Mae Meyers, both of Sturgis; and two brothers, George E. Denison and Harold E. Denison, both of Sturgis. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Butler Cemetery, Butler, Ind. There will be no visitation. Billings Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Margaret E. Baumer April 26, 1909-Jan. 25, 1998 LAPORTE -- Margaret E. Baumer, 88, of 700 Waverly Road, died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in LaPorte Hospital. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Baumer of St. Louis; and four sons, James and John, both of LaPorte, Richard of Dayton, Ohio, and Michael of Cleveland. Va., Grovie Lanham of Dunbar, W. Va., and Geneva Shackleton and Betty Gilkie, both of Middleport, Ohio; and a brother, Richard Parsons of Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters, Deloris Keiser of Plymouth and Susan Brace of Fort Wayne; a son, Thomas J. of Bourbonnais, Ill.; two sisters, Jeannette Scifert of Reynolds, Ind., and Genevieve Lasher of Fowler, Ind.; and two brothers, Alfred Bissonnette of Wolcott and Dr. Roger Bissonnette of Evansville, Ind. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Remington. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Stitz Funeral Home, Remington, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Lizzie D. Hostetler Dec. 2, 1903-Jan. 26, 1998 SHIPSHEWANA -- Lizzie D. Hostetler, 94, of 0790 N. County Road 1000 West, died in her home at 11:30 p.m. Monday. Survivors include eight daughters, Ida Frey and Mabel Mast of Ligonier, Anna Miller, Orpha Miller and Mary Etta Eash, all of Shipshewana, Freida Raber of Middlebury, Lizzie Ann Lehman of Topeka and Leah Fern Hostetler, at home; and four sons, Eldon and David, both of Middlebury, Daniel of Shipshewana and LaVern of Wilmington, Ill. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Andrew Troyer Home, 10540 W. County Road 050 North, Middlebury. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. today and all day Thursday in the Erwin Eash home, 0865 N. County Road 1000 West, Shipshewana. Miller Funeral Home, Middlebury, is handling arrangements. Benjamin H. Jones June 21, 1925-Jan. 26, 1998 BREMEN -- Benjamin H. Jones, 72, of 8897 N. Shore Drive, died at 8:25 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Bailey); one daughter, Diane Cumins of Mishawaka; six sons, Paul Jones of South Bend, Bill Jones of Orlando, Fla., Thomas Manges of Wichita, Kan., David Manges of Chamberburg, Pa., Jack Manges of Elkhart and Steve Manges of Osceola; two sisters, Violet Welker of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Ida L. Parker of South Bend; and two brothers, Robert and Jim Jones, both of South Bend. Larish, 96, of 130 W. Wolf Ave., died at 11:20 a.m. Monday in Elkhart General Hospital. Sassaman of Mottville and Marjorie Allen of Traverse City, Mich.; and his mother, Treva M. Wheelock of Mottville. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church, Constantine. Maylor, 66, of Johnson Road, died at 12:22 p.m. Monday in his car at 4500 County Road 300 North. The death is being investigated by LaPorte County Coroner Barbara Houston. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie A. (Markowski); and two sisters, Mary Drubert and Barbara Maylor, both of Michigan City. There will be no services or visitation.
