She was raised and educated in Lebanon. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1937. She married Lawrence Robert (Bob) Beck, September 17, 1939 in Indianapolis, They had just celebrated their 65th Wedding anniversary. Before, retiring, she previously worked for Royal Cleaners, Shumate Business Forms, Horsey’s Delicatessen as well as operated Beck’s Café in Lebanon for over 20 years. She was a member of the Lebanon Eagles & American Legion Ladies Auxilliaries. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Bob Beck; daughter: Sonya Wethington of Lebanon; granddaughters: Jacque Heidenreich (John) of Henderson, Nevada; Dana Byrkett (Rick) of Seymour, Indiana; Jennifer Bethards (Bill) of Brownsburg, Indiana; Janeen Rex (Steve) of Lebanon, Indiana; great-grandchildren: Ashley and Brad Heidenreich, Brooke and Eric Byrkett, Jesse Bethards, Justin, Andrew, Peyton and Erica Rex; great-great grandchildren: Briley Barker and Chase Vogel. Mrs. Bentley was reared and educated in Boone County, Indiana. She graduated from Dover High School in 1952. She resided in Crawfordsville, Lafayette, and Hendricks County near Jamestown prior to moving to the present Jamestown address. She was married to Raymond Thomas Bentley in Lizton, Indiana on September 21, 1974. Mr. Bentley died on December 8, 1985. Mrs. Bentley was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her family she enjoyed her church and sewing. He held the position of Art Director for Methodist Publishing House in Nashville , Tennessee . He then served in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II. For twenty years he served as art director for Caldwell Larkin-Sidener Van Riper. For 5 ½ years he worked for Peters and Company Advertising Agency. In 1982, he began doing free lance art work specializing in landscape art until his death.
