Clara E. Simcox
(February 14, 1916 - August 13, 2011)

Clara E. Simcox, 95, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on February 14, 1916 to John and Lena (Jackson) Brooker in Kokomo, Indiana.

Clara worked as a Homemaker. She was a full time minister or missionary for the Jehovah's Witnesses and a current member of the Carmel Congregation.

She is survived by daughters: Rebecca (Robert) Baker of Westfield, IN, and Paula (Steve) Stokes also of Westfield, IN; son, Brian (Tammy) Simcox of Franklin, IN; grandchildren: Jay (Susan), Jody, Anthony (Courtney) and Christopher (Nicole) Hancock; Steve (Heather) Stokes, Jr. and Stephanie Stokes and great-grandchildren: Drew and Nicholas Hancock, and Devon Chase Stokes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Simcox; brothers: Walter, Harlan, Gerald, Jack and Glenn Brooker; and a sister, Catherine Whitaker.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM August 27, 2011 at the Fishers Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12241 Lantern Road, Fishers, IN 46038. Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund for the Carmel Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Martha Leora Schoolcraft
(Died August 13, 2011)

Martha Leora Schoolcraft, 72, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was born on May 23, 1939 to Leslie Alvin and Dorothy (Hilligoss) Haygood in Anderson, Indiana.

Martha worked as a homemaker and worked at Noblesville Nursing Home and 10th Street Laundry.

She is survived by sons, Rocky Schoolcraft of Noblesville, David (Jackie) Schoolcraft of Cicero; daughter, Robin (Bo) Shaw; son, William J. 'Billy' Schoolcraft of Noblesville; daughters, Karen Schoolcraft of Indianapolis, Marti (Mike) Height of Noblesville, Norma (Jimmy) Harber of Cicero; sons, Edward L. 'Lou' Schoolcraft of Joliet, IL, Louis D. (Lindsay) Johnson of Noblesville, David Vu of Noblesville, William M. 'Mike' Sullivan of Joliet, IL, Tony Ngo of Indianapolis; brothers, David (Sylvia) Haygood of Freedom, IN, James Haygood of Ingalls, IN; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Louis D. Schoolcraft, Jr.; brother, Noah Haygood; sister, Norma Denger; brother, Edward Haygood; sister, Clara Sewell; and stepfather, Charles Nelson Thompson.

Private services will be held. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville.

Phillip Joe Castor
(April 3, 1933 - August 13, 2011)

Phillip Joe Castor, 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on April 3, 1933 to Percy and Ada (Castetter) Castor in Germantown, Hamilton County, Indiana. He wed Charlotte Bolin in 1956.

For 30 years, Phillip worked for Western Electric. He was a 1951 graduate of Noblesville High School, and attended Purdue University. In the Army, Phillip proudly served his country in Panama during the Korean War. He was past president of the Miller Backers and the Noblesville Swim Club. Phillip was also a member of the Noblesville High School Alumni Association, and the American Legion Post #45 in Noblesville. He coached and umpired for Noblesville Junior League Baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Castor of Noblesville, IN; daughters, Vicki (Bruce) Games of Noblesville, IN, Susan (Leonard) Geshan Jr. of Oakton, VA, and Sarah (Jonathan) Schaffer of Herndon, VA; sons, Michael (Tory) Castor of Westfield, IN, and Steven Castor of Noblesville, IN; sister, Lois Massey of Round Hill, KY; and 12 grandchildren.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor John Davis officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Michael H. Shank
(August 4, 1953 - September 12, 2011)

Michael Henriksen Shank, 58, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on August 4, 1953 to John B. and Gloria (Henriksen) Shank in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Michael worked as a Metal Fabricator.

He is survived by his wife, Bekke Shank; four daughters: Courtney Shank (husband, Oscar Rosales), Heather Shank, Meredith (husband, Chris) Coronato, and Kaitlyn Shank; father, John B. Shank; brother, John B. (wife, Donna) Shank, Jr.; two sisters, Barbara (husband, Dan) Shurina, and Suzanne (husband, John) Ryan; brother-in-law, Danny Hubbard; and two granddaughters, Mia and Gabriela Rosales.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Shank; and a sister, Pamela Hubbard.

Graveside services will be held at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2011, with Father John Keifer officiating. Visitation will be at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

James Benny
(April 20, 1934 - September 12, 2011)

James D. Benny, 77, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on April 20, 1934 in Trinidad.

James worked as a Payroll officer in the Construction field.

Services are in the care of Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, IN.

Lois M. Mantz
(Died September 14, 2011)

Lois M. Mantz, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on July 24, 1924 to Jewell and Hattie (Brattain) Mantz in Danville, Indiana. Lois was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by four sons, Christopher (Milissa) Mantz, Richard Mantz, Gerald Mantz, & James Mantz; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Mantz, Sr.; three sons, Clarence Mantz Jr, Eddie Mantz & David Mantz; and two daughters, Barbara Owens & Rosemary Etchenson. Private services will be held. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

William Allen Rigsby
(October 12, 1952 - August 15, 2011)

William Allen Rigsby, 58, of Converse, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at his home. He was born on October 12, 1952 to Fred and Phoebe (Wann) Rigsby in Noblesville, Indiana.

William graduated from Hamilton Heights High School in 1970, and was a veteran of the Air Force. He worked as a framer for Indiana Truss Co. in Westfield.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary Ellen (Tom) Roe of Tipton, IN, and Alice Marie Allen of Millersburg, IN; two nephews from Indiana, a niece from Colorado, and a niece from South Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Henry Rigsby.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R Sutton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Emma Camille Dawes
(April 12, 2011 - August 20, 2011)

Emma Camille Dawes, four-month old infant daughter of Charles and Ana (Barrón) Dawes of Noblesville, IN went home with Jesus on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She was born on April 12, 2011 in Noblesville.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Isabel Dawes; and grandparents, Ruben & Graciela Barrón, and Phillip & Sandra Dawes.

Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville, with Father Tom Metzger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, beginning with a vigil at 5:00pm. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.

Joseph A. Neuzerling
(December 10, 1989 - September 15, 2011)

Joseph A. Neuzerling, 21, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Noblesville. He was born on December 10, 1989 to Gary and Connie (Davis) Neuzerling in Indianapolis.

Joseph was a 2008 graduate of Noblesville High School and a student at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering. He attended Northview Church in Carmel, where he loved caring for babies in the nursery. He was very active in their youth ministry, and served with the youth Discipleship Walk. He also had many fond memories of his mission trip to Nicaragua.

He is survived by his parents, Gary & Connie Neuzerling of Noblesville; brothers, Philip, Trevor, and Levi Neuzerling; grandfather, Gene Davis of Lafayette; grandparents, Leon & Patricia Neuzerling of Florida; great-grandmother, Louise Daniel of Wisconsin; several aunts, uncles & cousins; college roommates Nick Kwolek and Justin Lindley; and many dear, wonderful friends, especially Carol Fields.

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maryann Davis.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Northview Church, 12900 Hazel Dell Parkway, in Carmel, with Pastor Dave Choutka officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the church. Burial will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville.

Larry T. Grace
(November 12, 1947 - September 15, 2011)

Larry T. Grace, 63, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at home. He was born on November 12, 1947 to William and Mary (Harris) Grace in Tipton, Indiana.

Larry worked as a Protective Coating Engineer for Moon Fabricating, Kokomo.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Grace; daughters, Lena M. Porter, Cassandra L. Eiler, and Rita M. Jones; son, Scott E. Grace; brothers, James Grace, Robert Grace, and William Grace; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
