David L. Vitatoe
(Died October 4, 2011)

David L. Vitatoe, left this earth on October 4, 2011 after an extended illness. He was born to James W. and Bertha E. Vitatoe on April 4, 1948.

He grew up in Noblesville, Indiana, where he graduated from Noblesville High School in 1966. He furthered his education at Purdue University where he graduated from the School of Science with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980 and was on the Dean's List for 4 years.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bonnie (Huber) Vitatoe, two children, David E. Vitatoe and Katherine Barrow (friend) Andrea Dawn Grubb, son-in-law Michael, three grandchildren, Lance Michael, Alyssa Dawn and Natalie Jean Grubb, two sisters, Judy King (Roger) of Pendleton, Indiana and Sheila Payne (Gary) of Noblesville, Indiana, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

David was employed at Pharma-Tech Industries in Union, MO for the past twenty years as their Quality Assurance Director. He was very passionate in his work and would be honored for others to pursue education in the field of science.

Visitation will be Sunday Oct. 9th from 1-4 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street Noblesville and a Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of David L. Vitatoe to Purdue Foundation Chemistry Scholarship, Dauch Alumni Center, 403 W. Wood St., West Lafayette, IN 47907.

Pearl Fugate
(October 5, 1934 - October 4, 2011)

Pearl Fugate, 76, of Fishers, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Fishers.IN . He was born on October 5, 1934 to Tom and Margaret (Bush) Fugate in Hazard, Kentucky.

Pearl retired from Firestone Industrial Products in Noblesville. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Noblesville VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by wife, Paula Gabbert Fugate of Fishers, IN, daughter, Tena (Terry) Fugate of Columbus, IN, sons; John (Sherry) Fugate and Matt (Sue) Fugate, a brother, Matt (Rosemary) Fugate all of Noblesville, IN along with 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Jerry Fugate in 1994 and a grandson, Craig Partridge in1992.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Jack Cottrill officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

David G. Koven
(Died October 5, 2011)

David G. Koven, 53, of Crete, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (nee Konow) Koven, children, Amanda (Nathan) Mylet, , Christopher and Brandon Koven, brother, John (Colleen) Koven, and brother, Jim (Peggy) Koven. He was a fond uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

David was a member of the National Corvette Club and Moose Lodge.

A graveside service will be held Monday October 10th, 11 am at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Arthur R. Kessler
(July 7, 1939 - October 15, 2011)

Arthur R. Kessler Sr., 72, of Fishers, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Simon Cancer Center of I.U. Health. He was born on July 7, 1939 to Arthur and Dorothy (Starnes) Kessler at their family farm house in Senath, Missouri.

Arthur worked as a Product Safety Officer for Nidec Inc. He was a Past Master of Hamilton Masonic Lodge #533, Member of Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, Past Associate Grand Guardian of Job's Daughters International of Indiana, Past Associate Grand Bethel Guardian, Past Associate Bethel Guardian Bethel #108 Fishers, and Past Worthy Patron Eastern Star Chapter # 446. He earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and was an Alumni of Acacia Fraternity, member of Fishers United Methodist Church and Past President of Conner Prairie Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Kessler; son, Arthur R. Kessler Jr. and wife Deanna; daughters, Kim Raschelle & Andrea Kay (Brian) Tohill; five grandchildren, Jessica, Alexandrea, Kyle, Aaron & Clint, two great-grandchildren, Maci Jane & Noa; two brothers, Richard & Bruce Kessler; and three special puppies.

Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm with a Masonic Service at 7 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, and also Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm following visitation on Tuesday. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Lance Hendrickson
(Died October 15, 2011)

Lance John Hendrickson, 24, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011. He was born February 20, 1987 Indianapolis.

Lance was a 2005 graduate of Noblesville High School where he was a member of the first NHS Men's Lacrosse Team. Upon graduation, Lance served four years in the United Sates Navy on board the USS Ponce achieving the rank of Petty Officer. He attended Purdue University and was currently employed with the Veterans Administration in Indianapolis.

Lance is survived by his parents, Eric and Zella Hendrickson; siblings, Laney, Leif, Melissa & Molly all of Noblesville; parents, George Boyd and Carrie Cobb-Boyd; sibling, Celine of Palm Coast, FL; grandmother, Michey Mills of Noblesville; and grandparents, John Hendrickson and Bill & Nedra Cobb of Indianapolis. He will be greatly missed by his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fellow Navy servicemen.

Lance was preceded in death by his grandmother, Totsie Hendrickson of Indianapolis; and grandfather, Bobby Mills of Noblesville.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Funeral services will held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street in Noblesville. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Patricia Ann Green
(Died October 17, 2011)

Patricia Ann Green, 74, of Lapel, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at home. She was born on April 12, 1937 to Robert and Louise (Swinford) Bonewitz in Indianapolis.

Patricia retired from Ameritech in 1992, after more 30 years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and Phi Theta Delta Sorority.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles 'Charlie' Sherman Green; daughters, Phyllis Ann (David) Williams & Carla Green; sister, Barbara L Moore; great-aunt, Peggy Hendricks; and grandson, Matthew Charles Williams.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with an Eastern Star service beginning at 7:00 pm. Entombment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

Arwana June Kirk
(Died October 18, 2011)

Arwana June Kirk, 96, of Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at home. She was born on June 14, 1915 in Carmel, Indiana.

Arwana was co-owner of Kirk's Hardware in Noblesville for over 30 years; and was a Methodist Church member in DeLand, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kirk, who passed away in 1997.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2011 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville the funeral home. Burial will be at Carmel Cemetery in Carmel.

Betty Emmert
(Died November 6, 2011)

Betty J. Emmert, 88, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on July 30, 1923 to Wessie and Emma Almeda (Helfer) Walker in Boone County, Indiana.
Betty started her career with Riverview Hospital as an aid and then the majority of her time was a Unit Secretary for 25 years retiring in 1988. After retiring she worked as a volunteer at Riverview Hospital for several years. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Noblesville.

She is survived by daughter, Cathy (John) Owens of Noblesville, IN, daughter, Jennifer Emmert, son, John W. Emmert, step-daughter, Sandra Emmert, grandchildren; Andrew Emmert, Erin Emmert, Justin Owens, Jared Owens, Wessie Emmert, Whitney Emmert, Shelby Emmert, Levi Emmert, Micaela Emmert, Matthew Emmert, Kristopher Rutherford, Alissa Rutherford, Jason McCarthy, Jessica Miller, Jakob Miller, sister, Doris Carr, brother, Kenneth Walker, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John P. Emmert, son, Steven Emmert, step-daughter, Sara Miller, sisters, Maxine, Treasal, and Alberta, brothers, James and Eugene.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.

Barbara Winkler
(Died November 7, 2011)

Barbara J. Winkler, 82, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on January 15, 1929 to Jesse and Della (Barnes) Jester in Anderson, Indiana.

Barbara had been a Postal Clerk for the Fishers Post Office; was a member of Noblesville Nazarene Church; and attended Anderson High School.

She is survived by daughter, Jeanette Winkler; sons, Stephen (Donna) Winkler, David Winkler; brothers, Joe (Betty) Hendricks, John Hendricks; grandchildren, Stephen P. Winkler, Nicole (Jim) Eckerty, Jennifer Crouch, Leslie Jones, Lindsay Wade, Ryan (Pamela) Smoot, Kelli Kimbrell, Toby Mallery, Ashley (Bob) Sparks and 26 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Winkler, and her daughter, Teresa Celarek.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 11, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with Pastor Michael Ross officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
