Mike Turner
(February 24, 1961 - February 22, 2012)

Mike Turner, 50, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on February 24, 1961 to Burlen and Betty (Harber) Turner in Lee County, Virginia.

Mike had worked for Martin Marietta Aggregates & Noblesville Stone Company for 17 years; and was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Noblesville.

He is survived by wife, Velma Turner; daughter, Tonya Turner; son, Michael Turner; parents, Burlen & Betty Turner; brother, Ted (Cindy) Turner; sisters, Kandy (Danny) Scott & Cookie (Ron) Tiller; father & mother-in-law, John & Gladys Parks; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Tee & Hattie Harber and Bill & Evelyn Turner; and many uncles.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Pastor Alfred Parks, Pastor Michael W. Risden, Danny Scott officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, IN 46060, in memory of Mike.

Katharine Hopkins
(Died February 24, 2012)

Katharine (Gonser) Hopkins, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at her home. She was born October 17, 1927 to Marvin E. and Amanda Ethel (Myers) Gonser in Piggott, Arkansas.

Katharine was a homemaker, and had formerly worked for G.C. Murphy and Company and the Blue Ribbon Dairy in Noblesville. She had also been a bus aide for special needs children for Noblesville Schools. She was a member of Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesville; and loved gardening and her time with grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Orville J. Hopkins; sons, Brett Hopkins & Bryan Hopkins; daughter, Suellen Fletcher; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Hopkins; and a brother, Joe Gonser.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, with Pastor Steve Passmore officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Tuesday, beginning at 12:30 pm prior to the service. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Fredrick Begley
(November 20, 1926 - March 24, 2012)

Fredrick Begley, 85, of Fishers, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012. He was born on November 20, 1926 to John Begley and Della (Gilmore) Begley Cheraux in Ovid, Indiana.

Fredrick graduated from Purdue University in 1954 with a degree in engineering. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in WWII and the Korean war. Fredrick worked for Naval Avionics as an electrical engineer and he also taught for Purdue University at IUPUI. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by wife, Joyce Begley; son, John F (Liz) Begley; daughter, Diann (Jeff) Luebker; grandchildren, Anna & Joe Luebker and Kate Begley. Also surviving is the Michael Scaringe family; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 30, 2012, at Ovid Community Church, 793 East 600 South, Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastors Keith Wooden and Steve Rasmussen officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Burial will be at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse.

Sheila Jane Murray
(January 12, 1956 - March 23, 2012)

Sheila Jane (Trowbridge) Murray, 56, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Community Hospital North. She was born on January 12, 1956 to Fred and Carolyn (Martin) Trowbridge in Rush County, Indiana.

Sheila loved spending time with her family; family was the most important thing to her. She worked as a Real Estate Tax Analyst for Landman and Beatty; and formerly a veteran of the Army Reserves.

In addition to her mother, Carolyn Trowbridge of Florida, Sheila is survived by her husband, Chuck Murray of Fishers; daughter, Sarah Jane (Jason) Bourg of Noblesville; son, Adam Wayne (Cindy) Murray of Fishers; sister, Susan (Dan) Greskamp; brothers, Larry, Mike, and Tony Trowbridge; one special granddaughter, Samantha Bourg; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the memorial service starting at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Raleigh Zion Cemetery, at 3:00 pm.

William 'Bill' Uhrick
(February 2, 1940 - March 21, 2012)

William 'Bill' H. Uhrick, 72, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on February 2, 1940 to Henry and Esther (Courtney) Uhrick in Dunkirk, Indiana.

Bill retired in 1986 from the Noblesville Fire Department, where he had been the Fire Chief from 1976-1977; and was a member of the Noblesville Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Uhrick; sons, Todd (Larken) Uhrick, Scott (Rachel) Uhrick & Jason (Melissa) Uhrick; step-sons, Greg Dent & Jeff (Lori) Dent; sister, Karol (Jim) Dimmick; grandchildren, Dennis & Greg Lockhart, Colton & Katelyn Uhrick, Zachary Uhrick, Ryan & Lucy Uhrick, Justin & Tyler Dent, & Jack & Lucy Lorton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Ethele Irene Wheatley
(February 11, 1915 - February 24, 2012)

Ethele Irene (Daubenspeck) Wheatley, 97, of Cicero, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on February 11, 1915 to Frank and Elizabeth (Berg) Daubenspeck in Carmel, Indiana.

Ethele was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for 64 years and was currently serving at Cicero United Methodist Church. Ethele sang in the church choir and was a member of the Hamilton County Republican Party and No-Wa-Da Extension Homemakers Club.

She is survived by daughter, Virginia N. Wright of Westfield; grandson, Jeffrey A. Myers of Cicero; grandson, James A. (Kay) Myers of Greenfield; sister, Ruth (Arnold) Morehead of Winterhaven, FL; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William D Wheatley; daughter, Linda Lea Haley; brothers, Walter, Robert, and Ralph Daubenspeck; and sister, Lois Reynolds.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with visitation prior starting at 11:00 am. Private burial will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis.

Mary Craig-Jerrell
(March 22, 1921 - February 24, 2012)

Mary Louise Craig-Jerrell, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Hamilton Trace of Fishers. She was born on March 22, 1921 to Robert and Mallane Anna (Kalis) Losey in Indianapolis.

Mary was a teacher in the West Lafayette School system. She attended Purdue University, where she became a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority; and received her Masters degree in education from Ball State University. She was a former member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Lafayette; and was currently attending Saint Matthews Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

She is survived by daughter, Christine (Gary) Fossett of Virginia; sons, David H (Cheryl) Craig of Indianapolis and George (Valerie) Craig of Carmel; daughter, Kathleen (Steve) Skillman of Virginia; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert H Craig who passed in 1989; second husband, James Jerrell who passed in 2004; son, Robert John Craig; and a grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 27, 2012, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, Noblesville. Rev. Christopher Shocklee will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Geraldine Ann Cotton
(Died February 27, 2012)

Geraldine Ann Cotton, 55, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at home. She was born on October 26, 1956 to Robert and Carolyn (Marsh) DeHoff in Indianapolis.

Geraldine owned a residential cleaning service for many years and had worked in mortgage banking for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church in Fishers.

She is survived by husband, Elbert C Cotton; son, Gabriel Cotton; daughter, Gretchen Cotton; mother, Carolyn DeHoff; sisters, Denise (George) Biro & Linda (Allen) Corbin; brothers-in-law, Tom (Akiko) Cotton & Jeff (Rachel) Cotton; sister-in-law, Holly (Jack) Cotton-Collier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elbert C. & Marge Cotton, plus several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Edward & Hazel Marsh and Paul Robert & Margaret DeHoff.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church, 10350 Glaser Way, in Fishers, with Rev. Phil Bowers officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
