Charles "Bill" Randall, Jr.
(June 13, 1931 - April 27, 2012)

Charles "Bill" Randall Jr., 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on June 13, 1931 to Charles and Mary L. (Williams) Randall in Noblesville.

Bill was retired from Delco-Remy and was a former Noblesville Police Reserve Officer. He proudly served his country and was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Indiana National Guard.

He is survived by wife, Kathleen Randall; daughter, Dana Davis; sons, William Randall and Donald Randall; sisters, Peggy Merrill and Susan Buchannon; brothers, James Randall and Robert Randall; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Private family services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis.

Kenneth 'Bud' Pickett
(Died April 27, 2012)

Kenneth K. (Bud) Pickett, 72, of Arcadia, passed away at home on Friday, April 27, 2012. A Noblesville native, he was born January 22, 1940, the youngest of three children and the son of William Kenneth and Clara Ione (Kinsey) Pickett.

Bud was a 1958 graduate of Noblesville High School; attended Marian College and IUPUI in Indianapolis; and studied engineering at Tri-State University in Angola, IN. He served three years in the Indiana National Guard. He was Vice President of Iris Rubber Co, Inc., before founding his own manufacturing enterprise, ACE Urethane, which he sold in 1981.

Bud lived his life with a strong spirit of self-sacrifice. He was a devoted husband, father and friend of many. He was honored to serve the people of Hamilton County as a Sheriff’s Deputy for 26 years, until his retirement in 2009. A man of deep faith, Bud was a life-long Catholic and a member of St. Athanasius Byzantine Catholic Church.

Bud was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Carolyn Ruth (Willits) Pickett. He is survived by his children, Lesli Pickett Handword (Mitch), Lori Pickett Matlock, Robert (Judy Kemp) Pickett, Jonathan (Christine) Pickett, Christopher (Corinne) Pickett; grandchildren, Erik Handwork, Rachael Handwork, Jacob Handwork, Alyxzander Handwork, Rebecca Handwork, Anastazia Handwork, Sarah (Steve) Matlock Martin, Karah (Joshua Jack) Matlock Schick, Codi Matlock and Maris Kemp; great-grandchildren, Caleb Martin, Caroline Martin, Cayden Schick, Connor Schick and Lilyana Jack; and two sisters, Patti Keorber and Wanda Chatel.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, IN. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 410 S. Pearl Street, Cicero, IN, with burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel, IN.

Michael "George" Allen Ricketts
(January 30, 1961 - April 28, 2012)

Michael "George" Allen Ricketts, 51, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on January 30, 1961 in Noblesville.

Michael worked at Janus Development and attended the Tri-County Opportunity School and the Community Christian Church. He won several medals in the Special Olympics; and enjoyed swimming, bowling, playing bingo, and watching TV Land.

He is survived by his grandmother who raised him, Carolyn Harris; sisters, Cathy (Jim) Micklay & Rebecca (Kenny) Smith; brother, David (Tina) Napier; aunts, Vonita (Jim) Blazier, Lora Ward & Dawn (Dave) Wyman; uncles, Mike (Bonnie) Harris & Richard Harris; and 66 cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Harris; uncle, John David Harris; sisters, LuAnn Miller & Mary Ellen Napier; and cousin, William Blazier.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Mike Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm immediately prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Sarah Crowmer of Riverwalk Village for her humanitarianism.

Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics for Hamilton County, 12169 Crestwood Drive Carmel, IN 46033.

Betty Kathleen Bennett
(February 17, 1930 - April 28, 2012)

Betty Kathleen Bennett, 82, of Lapel, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on February 17, 1930 to Garnet and Glenna (Whelchel) Goodnight in Noblesville, Indiana.

Betty worked as a Homemaker. She was a member of The Lapel Home Economics Club.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Bennett, granddaughter, Paula (Tobin) Bruner, grandsons, Grant Bennett and Michael Bennett, sister, Ruth Eberling, great-grandchild, Miranda Bruner, great-grandchildren, Erika Bennett, Brandon Bennett, Shelby Bennett, Kristen Carter and, Tesla Hale, a special nephew, Dale Howey and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James G. Bennett, son, Gary James Bennett, sisters, Alice Howey and Augusta Flannagin, brothers, Walter Flannagin and Paul Goodnight.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday May 3, 2012 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.

Betty's family remembers her as person generous with her time and a helping hand for anyone in need. Instead of flowers please give a hand or donation to someone you know struggling with cancer..

Carol E. Wolf
(October 30, 1936 - April 30, 2012)

Carol Eigabroadt Wolf, Fishers, Indiana, formerly from Hobart/Merrillville, Indiana, passed away April 30, 2012. Carol was born October 30, 1936 in Erie, PA to Carl and Ethel Eigabroadt who preceded Carol in death.

Carol graduated from Villa Maria High School and Mercyhurst College, Erie, PA, with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and from Calumet College, Hammond, IN, with a degree in Theology. Carol worked as a homemaker, teacher and as a Director of Religious Education. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church, Fishers, IN, and St. Stephen Martyr, Merrillville, IN.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald R. Wolf, who was always by her side and their eight children: Michael Wolf, Susan (Kevin) Ward, Sally Wolf, Timothy (Lisa) Wolf, Mary Ellen Wolf, Ann (Pete) Rankovich, Kevin (Michelle) Wolf, and Brian (Michelle) Wolf; brothers, William (Helen) Eigabroadt, and Arthur Eigabroadt; sisters, Ann (David) Rogers, and Lois Eigabroadt; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Gus) Thompson; nieces and nephews: Kathleen (Eric) Kennedy, Patrick (Patricia) Kennedy, Colin (Sandra) Mitchell and Marty (Kelly) Thompson; plus 15 grandchildren: Hilary (Randy) Mann, Gabriel and Clancy Wolf, Sean, Molly and Ryan Ward, Megan and Nicholas Wolf, Matthew Wolf, Katrina, Beau and Grant Wolf, Nathan, Brady and Cullen Wolf.

We would like to thank Carol's "Cursillo in Christianity Group" who has always been there for Carol and Don.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church, 10350 Glaser Way, in Fishers, with Father Phil Bowers officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis.

Orval W. Gunn
(Died April 30, 2012)

Orval W. Gunn, 97, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on August 28, 1914 in Hamilton County, Indiana.

Orval retired after 30 years as a Master carpenter, having worked through Carpenter Local #352 in Anderson and Local #1016 in Muncie. He attended school at Walnut Grove and was a member of Clarksville Christian Church in Noblesville. At one time, he was affiliated with the Antique Tractor and Engine Club of Noblesville. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #57 of Noblesville and the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, building wagons and restoring old engines.

Orval married A. Irene Holladay in 1952. She survives. He and Irene spent 23 winters in Estero, Florida. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Barry Gunn; daughter, Janice Ann Ward; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie (Zook) Gunn; stepfather, Lexie Gunn; two brothers, William Gunn & Virgil Gunn; and sister, Lois Evelyn Bowman.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Pastor Steve Fair officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Carey Cemetery in Noblesville.

Georgia Lucille Nickel
(August 6, 1924 - May 1, 2012)

Georgia Lucille Nickel, 87, of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on August 6, 1924 to Cecil Cannon in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Georgia was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles in her spare time. She was a member of Clarksville Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, George Nickel; son, Jim (Marietta) Lambdin; daughter, Ann (Charles) Catron; son, Bill (Debbie) Lambdin; son, Ron (Dayna) Nickel; son, Jerry (Robin) Nickel; daughter, Sue (Kim) Hicks; with sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by daughter, Teresa Jones.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Steve Fair officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

James 'Ed' Barnette
(Died May 2, 2012)

James 'Ed' Edward Barnette, 81, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on September 8, 1930 to Hobart and Eunice (Burgen) Barnette in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Ed was retired after 25 years as a machine operator for Perfecto Manufacturing; and was a member of the Apostolic Church. He enjoyed carpentry and was very creative and loved making things for his family. He will be dearly missed by all of his family, especially his grandchildren & great-grandchildren, who knew him as their beloved 'Papaw'.

He is survived by wife, Juanita Barnette; son, Gary (Detra) Barnette; daughters, Sherry (Patrick) McCartney & Linda (Timmy) Knight; son, Samuel David (Alice) Barnette; brothers, Charles Robert (Layla) Barnette & Orville Lee (Barbara) Barnette; sister, Anna Price Roberts; four grandchildren, Joey Knight, Elizabeth (Chris) Hughes, Natasha Barnette, Chase Barnette; and five great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Ian, Ryan, Kailee & Corbin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, James H. Barnette; brother, Alfred Barnette; sister, Kathleen Roberts.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 7, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Stanley VanWinkle officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
