Kenneth Dodd
(Died May 16, 2012)

Kenneth W. Dodd, 88, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on December 26, 1923 to John and Ethel (Presley) Dodd in Hamilton County, Indiana.

Ken was a lifelong farmer, carpenter and stone mason in the Fishers, Indiana area. He was an avid collector of antique tractors, farm equipment, and Colt single action revolvers.

He is survived by his seven children, Deborah (Wes) Broadway, Kathryn (Richard) Jordan, Mark (Wanda) Dodd, John (Alison) Dodd, Christine Bennett, Thomas (Elaine) Dodd and David Dodd; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer Wyant Arguello, Christopher Wyant, Curtis Wyant, Leigh Ann Dodd Meggenhofen, Michael Dodd, Jesse Dodd, Sarah Lucas, Bethany Lucas, Evan Bennett, James Dodd, Emily Dodd, Laura Dodd, and Wesley Dodd; and eight great-grandchildren, Tyler Dodd, Kaitlyn Meggenhofen, Riley Meggenhofen, Nicholas Dodd, Ryan Dodd, Cole Dodd, Kylie Holt, and Kaylee Sexton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dorsey, Marvin, Melbourne, Milo, Roland, Harlin and Carol; and his sisters, Roberta, Geneva Lorraine, Irene and Lenore.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 21, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM immediately prior to the service. Pastor Mark Dodd will officiate.

Loretta Lou Williams
(Died May 17, 2012)

Loretta Lou Williams, 65, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at home. She was born on May 7, 1947 to Ralph and Dora (Carlton) Rogers in Elwood, Indiana. Her mother precedes her in death.

Loretta enjoyed the years she worked as a DJ at the Rainbow Roller Rink, where she thought of the kids there as her own. She also enjoyed working with the elderly; and she was an exceptional artist in her free time.

She is survived by husband, Larry Williams; father, Ralph Rogers; daughters, Abby (Adam) Louis & Shantell (Mike) Smith; son, Chris Williams; grandchildren, Ashly Hancock, Casey Hancock, Brittini Hancock, Stephany Williams, Jonthan Williams, Paul Williams; sisters, Janet Wright, Roberta Beard & Diana Rogers; many extended family; and her special friends, her dogs, Tia, Jezzy & Porky.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 21, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville with Pastor Dick Judson. Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Patricia Ann Carter
(September 6, 1948 - May 18, 2012)

Patricia Ann Carter, 63, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on September 6, 1948 to Alvin and Verena (Rudolf) Doyle in Connersville, Indiana.

Patricia worked at Roche Diagnostics as a quality analyst since 1999. She was a graduate of Ball State University.

She is survived by husband, William Rodger Carter Jr.; daughters, Laura Renee (Bradley) Ray and Natalie Lynn (Michael) Fitzpatrick; grandson, Myles William Ray; two brothers, Gary (Carolyn) Doyle and David (Lynn) Doyle; and four sisters, Kathy (Larry) Sturgeon, Mary Beth (Darryl Sr.) Morehead, Melissa Collins, and Janet Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and parent-in-laws, Audrey and William Rodger Carter Sr.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road with Rev. Stanley Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cicero Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Little Red Door Cancer Agency 1801 N Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Ruth P. Fletcher
(Died May 19, 2012)

Ruth P. Fletcher, 85, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at home. Ruth was born May 8, 1927, in Bonny Blue, Virginia. Her beloved grandmother, Tempa Wampler, ran the local boarding house for coal miners, where Ruth was raised. The family later moved to Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Ruth married World War II veteran, William L. Fletcher, on December 21, 1948. The couple had three children, Teri, Donna and John; and two grandchildren, Erin and Scott Isley. Bill preceded Ruth in death in 1991.

A devoted wife and mother, Ruth was beloved by friends, family and neighbors. She loved gardening, impassioned by her roses, peonies, hibiscus, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, and dogwoods. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, and spending time with her beloved cats, Miss Precious and Mystique.

Visitation hours will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St, Noblesville, IN. Funeral services will be conducted graveside on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:30 am at Lee Memorial Gardens, in Woodway, Virginia, where Ruth will be laid to rest alongside her beloved parents, Rhea and Lucille Parsons.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Ste. B, Noblesville, IN 46060.

Lawrence E. Hall
(June 26, 1928 - May 20, 2012)

Lawrence E. Hall, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born in Indianapolis on June 26, 1928 to the late Joseph and Hattie (Dobson) Hall.

Lawrence had been a truck driver for C.F. Trucking Company for 30 years. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a WWII and Korean veteran. He received a Purple Heart for his service.

He is survived by wife, Thelma Hall; daughter, Brenda (Russell) Dawson; son, Lawrence Grady Hall; daughter, Susie (David) Osborn; daughter, Sharon Hall; son, Jon (Shelley) Hall; son, Greg Hall; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 25, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am immediately prior to the service. Rev. Richard D. Bell will officiate. Burial with military rites will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Dylan Bridgeman
(Died May 20, 2012)

Dylan Bridgeman, 7, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Kentucky. He was born on August 30, 2004 to Russell and Jan (Smith) Bridgeman in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Dylan attended Hamilton Heights Elementary School, where he was in the FIAT class. He loved music and riding horses and his special tricycle at Theraplay Foundation. His love for people was evident by his waving and saying 'hi' to everyone he saw.

He is survived by his parents, Russell & Jan Bridgeman; brothers, Trent, Jacob, Austin & twin brother, Davidson; grandparents, Wayne (Maryann) Smith & Kenneth R Cross; aunt, Marlita (Dave Akin) Smith (& cousin, Jackson); niece, Trinity aunt, Barbara (Randall) Neil; uncle, Mark (Yolanda) Bridgeman; cousins, Kenny, Jacob, Cyble & Kimble.

Dylan was preceded in death by grandparents, Ralph & Dorotha Adkinson, Bernard & Inez Smith, Katherine J Bridgeman, Hubert R. Bridgeman; and uncle, Brett Smith.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm with services to be held at 7:00 pm on Friday. May 25, 2012 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville with Pastor Adam Polk officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Sharpsville Cemetery in Sharpsville, IN. Pastor Tim Lueking will officiate the graveside service.

Bessie June Sampson
(June 19, 1918 - May 21, 2012)

Bessie June Sampson, 93, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on June 19, 1918 to Andrew Clinton and Lillie (Young) Woods in Lapel, Indiana. Bessie married John David Sampson on November 2, 1935.

Bessie was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Noblesville, the Noblesville V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the Noblesville Senior Citizens Center. She served as the biscuit maker for the Senior Citizens Center breakfasts for 25 years. Bessie was a member of the Silver Stars Bowling League until last June. She participated in mission trips for many years in Henderson, KY; volunteered at local nursing homes; and made thousands of pillow cases for children suffering from cancer through "Give Kids the World". Bessie was well known as an expert seamstress whose specialty was bridal gowns.

She is survived by sons, John C. Sampson and Gary (Patti) Sampson both of Noblesville; grandchildren, Lisa McCarley of California, Amy (Jeff) Glover of Carmel, and Maribeth (Barry) Shewmaker of Noblesville; great-grandchildren, Katie and Emma Glover of Carmel, Jordan Sampson of Fishers, Zachary, Nathan, Jeremy, Avery, Jill, Benjamin, Joseph, and Matthew Shewmaker all of Noblesville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Sampson; grandson, Justin Clinton Sampson; and thirteen brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Jeff Buck officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and from 9:00 am to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

Rosemary H. Fulton
(Died May 21, 2012)

Rosemary H Fulton, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on October 8, 1919 to Ralph and Ethyl (Snyder) Roudebush in Arcadia, Indiana.

Rosemary was a homemaker and had worked for the Hamilton County Clerk's Office for a number of years. She had also worked at Roudebush Paint Store; and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Noblesville. She enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time with her grandchildren; and was an avid student of Scripture.

She is survived by sons, Jim (Karen) Fulton & Roger (Peggy) Fulton both of Noblesville; daughter, Sheryl (Rick) Morrow of Venice, FL; brother, Richard Roudebush; sister, Edna Brooks; sister, Wilma Roudebush; sister, Helen Blakesly; sister, Marilyn Mitchell; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L Fulton in 1991; and eight brothers & sisters.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 25, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Road, in Noblesville, with Rev. Doug Gast officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church and also Friday morning beginning at 9:00 immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church Food Pantry, 20650 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN 46062.
