Cynthia Marie Keeley of Great Bend and Erin Lane Beck of Claflin were united in marriage on June 7, 2008 at Prince of Peace St. Patrick’s Church in Great Bend.

The Rev. Reggie Urban officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Jan Keeley of Great Bend and Fred and Karlynn Beck of Claflin.

Grandparents of the bride are Barbara Keeley of Great Bend and the late Terry Keeley and A.W. and Pat Schartz of Larned.

The groom’s grandparents are Lucille Beck and the late Art Beck and Arlene Strube and the late Dale and late Robert Strube.

Great-grandmother of the bride is Ruth Gleason of Kinsley and the groom’s great-grandmother is Mary Hoffman of Claflin.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant bridal-white matte-satin gown designed in a princess silhouette, featuring a strapless neckline atop a wrapped waist detail all fully embellished in tiny seed beads and crystals. The semi-full ballroom skirt swept into a chapel train accented by scattered matching beadwork motifs. Her elbow-length sheer illusion veil fell from a rhinestone tiara. She carried a bouquet of red, yellow, orange and white Gerbera daisies.

Maid of honor was Christy Keeley, sister of the bride, of Topeka. Bridesmaids were Beth Keeley, sister of the bride, of Great Bend, Charlotte Dikeman of Overland Park, Katrina Hoffman of Hays, Krystal Hickel of Olathe, Jenny Schartz of Topeka and Elisha Beck, sister of the groom, of Hays. Their red, tea-length dresses featured strapless tops accented with orange ribbon belts at the waist. They carried hand-tied bouquets of red, yellow and orange Gerbera daisies.

Best man was Evin Beck, brother of the groom, of Durham, N.C. Groomsmen were Mark Miller of Claflin, Jarod Tetuan of Topeka, Jordan Hickel of Great Bend, Kyle Fisher, Jake Lebahn and Matt Keeley, brother of the bride, all of Topeka.

Taper lighters were Meg Huelskamp of Andover and Bailey Schartz of Larned, cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Loghan Beck of Hays, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Maddox Beck of Durham, nephew of the groom.

Ushers were Kyler Connell of Claflin, Ross Strube of Scott City, Brynnen Webb of Eudora, all cousins of the groom, and Jordan Brill and Dustin Moyer, both of Topeka.

Music was provided by Marc Webster, trumpet, and Connie Schneweis, organist. Kelly Henrichs and Rebecca Mauler were vocalists.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2007 graduate of Washburn University. She is employed by the Olathe School District as a sixth-grade teacher.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Claflin High School and a 2007 graduate of Washburn University with a degree in sports management.

The couple reside in Overland Park.
