Teresa White and Stephen Mazouch were united in marriage on Nov. 5, 2005 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Great Bend. Rev. Charles Mazouch of Ellinwood, uncle of the groom, and Rev. Ted Stoecklein of Great Bend officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Tom and Kelly White and the groom is the son of Gene and Mary Ann Mazouch, all of Great Bend. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a candlelight white, two-piece strapless gown by Lana Bisset with lace and pearl beaded embroidered top and scalloped edges. The gown featured an A-line satin skirt with a chapel-length chiffon train with lace and beaded detail, handmade by her grandmother. She also wore a chapel-length chiffon veil with lace beaded detail handmade by the bride’s grandmother Ann Boese. She carried a bouquet of candlelight white roses hand-tied in ivory-colored ribbon. The maids of honor were the bride’s sister, Tammi White and Tarra White of Great Bend. Bridesmaids were Patty Peschal of Manhattan, Crystal Cook of Kansas City, Staci Coulson of Hays and Carly Blosser of Council Grove. The attendants wore two-piece strapless, floor-length gowns, which featured a black beaded top and a gold skirt. They carried wine and plum roses hand- tied with wine-colored ribbon. Jeff Holste of Manhattan was the bestman. Groomsmen were brothers of the groom, Chris Mazouch, Greg Mazouch and Michael Mazouch, all of Great Bend, and Matthew Mazouch of Hays. The flower girl was Brooklyn Burkhart of Conway Springs and Peyton Mauler of Great Bend was the ring bearer. Ushers were Mike Peschal of Manhattan and, cousins of the groom, David Debes of Kansas City, Mo., Nick Mazouch of Great Bend, and Daniel Debes of Manhattan. Joyce Haberman of Great Bend was the organist. Vocalists were Vern Fryberger of Ellinwood and Lori Underwood of Great Bend. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2001 graduate of Barton County Community College. She received her bachelor’s degree from Columbus State University in 2004. She is employed as an accounts payable specialist at Escreen, Inc. in Overland Park. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2002 graduate of Barton County Community College. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Kansas State University in 2005. He is employed by Burns and McConnell in Kansas City, Mo. The couple reside in Overland Park.
