Lanterman

Duane and Sharon Lanterman are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary with a short trip.

Duane Lanterman and Sharon Chestnut were married on Feb. 14, 1976, at Bergthal Mennonite Church in Pawnee Rock.

Mr. Lanterman is the assistant manager at Radio Shack in Great Bend and Mrs. Lanterman is a certified nurse’s aide at Golden Belt Home Health, also in Great Bend.

Residents of Great Bend, the couple has two children, Lisa Lanterman of Wichita and David Lanterman of Great Bend.

The couple also has two grandchildren.

Guesnier 50th

Joe and Della Guesnier of Great Bend are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open reception from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2006 at the Highland Hotel Heritage Room, 3017 10th Street in Great Bend.

Joe Guesnier and Della Van Pelt were married on Feb. 14, 1956, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.

The couple has spent their married life in Great Bend.

Mr. Guesnier has been employed in the plumbing business.

Mrs. Guesnier is retired from the City of Great Bend.

Hosts for the reception are the couple’s daughters and their spouses: Dee Ann Frydendoll and husband Tab of Forgan, Okla.; Donna Nickel and husband Robert of Augusta; and Teresa Mawhirter and husband Dan of Great Bend.

The couple has 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The couple also has one deceased grandchild.

Wright 50th

Gill and Bonnie Wright of Alma, Neb., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 12, 2006. Bonnie is the daughter of the late Clyde and Charlotte Lillard, long-time Great Bend residents.

The couple was married Feb. 12, 1956, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend, with the Rev. Raymond W.O. Knowles officiating.

They have lived in Alma since 1959, where Gill practiced veterinary medicine until he retired.

They have four sons: Dr. Gill Wright, III and wife Marcia of Overland Park, Vaughn Wright and wife Tina of Beatrice, Neb., Brett Wright and wife Julie of Lincoln, Neb., and Dr. Clinton Wright of San Antonio, Texas; The Wrights have 10 grandchildren: Gill IV, Geoffrey, and Mikaela all of Overland Park; Lexa, Elizabeth, Jacob and Joseph all of Beatrice, Neb.; Derek, Megan and Kelsey all of Lincoln, Neb.

To celebrate this occasion, their family requests a card shower in their honor.
