Banks - 50th

The anniversary reception for Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Banks has changed location.

Wayne (Buzz) and Betty Banks of Great Bend know about the reception hosted by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for their 50th wedding anniversary, which will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 22, 2005 at the South Heritage Room of the Highland Hotel and Convention Center, 3017 10th St., Great Bend. Wayne (Buzz) Banks and Betty Clawson were married at the First Methodist Church in Great Bend on May 22, 1955.

Their children are Jerry Jasnoski, Jim Jasnoski and David Banks, all of Wichita; and Mary Banks (Jasnoski) Gregerson of Alexandria, Va.

Buzz and Betty have seven grandchildren, 9 1/2 great grandchildren, five grand-dogs, and three grand-cats.

The family requests no presents, just your presence.

Buzz and Betty reside at 3012 29th St., Great Bend, Kansas 67530.

Cooper - 55th

Caleton and Alice Cooper of St. John will observe their 55th wedding anniversary at an informal come-and-go reception on their farm near Dillwyn from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 29, 2005.

Hosts for the celebration will be their children: Norman of Larned; Dean and Susan Cooper of Kansas City, Mo.; Dr. James Cooper of Salina; Tim and Karen Gogolski of Osage City; and Becky Tanner of Wichita.

They have five grandchildren.

In case of rain, the reception will be held in the basement of Eden Valley Church of the Brethren.

Cards may be sent to the couple at R.R.1 Box 76, St. John, KS 67576.

Crotinger - 70th

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crotinger will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 5, 2005 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Olmitz.

The celebration will be hosted by their children and grandchildren.

Arthur Crotinger and Olga Nather were married June 3, 1935, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Timken.

They still reside on the family farm near Otis. They have 10 children, 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Their children and spouses are: Dorothy Hernandez of San Leandro, Calif.; Carol Willhite (deceased); Lois and Joe Pusateri of Belton, Mo.; Cindy and John Sohm of Otis; Florence and Tom Holmes of Great Bend; Sue and Steve Hollingsworth of McPherson; Deb and Terry Dalton of Otis; Eugene and Deb Crotinger of Hinton, Okla.; Rosemary and Nick Linn of Smith Center; and Michael and Annalee Crotinger of rural Bison.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
