Dixon - 40th
Gerald and Helene Dixon of Great Bend will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception beginning at 8 p.m. at the Great Bend Eagles Lodge. Dixon and the former Helene Freeman were married Sept. 30, 1963 in Miami, Okla. They are both retired. Hosts for the occasion will be their children and families, Gerry and Carrie Dixon of StonyPoint, N.Y., and Ken and Arlene Williams of Boise, Idaho. The couple also has four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to the reception and the couple requests no gifts.
Hoberecht - 50th
Russell and Wanda Hoberecht of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a family dinner. Hoberecht and the former Wanda Kirkman were married Sept. 20, 1953, at First Christian Church in Great Bend. Hoberecht is retired from Koch Industries and she is a homemaker and formerly with Sears. Their children are Mark and Cheryl Hoberecht of Great Bend, Kirk Hoberecht and Shari Roach of Salida, Colo., and Lisa and Stan Kjellberg of Hutchinson. The couple has six grandchildren.
Kaiser - 65th
Joe L. and Regina Kaiser of Claflin celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family at their daughter’s home in Great Bend. Kaiser and the former Regina Debes were married on Aug. 30, 1938, at Holy Family Catholic Church of Odin. They spent their first 24 years farming at Dubuque and since 1962 on the Kaiser farm at Claflin. He is a farmer and she a homemaker. Their children and spouses are: Corrine and Larry Finger, Ronald and Lucille Kaiser and Marilyn Ricke, all of Hoisington; Marvin and Bernice Kaiser of Hemet, Calif.; Gilbert and Kathy Kaiser of Kingman; and Jolene and Jim Rziha of Great Bend. Their grandchildren and great-grandchildren are: Paula, Andy and Brandon Beck of Hays; Brian, Lynne, Shawn and Jenna Kaiser of Wichita; Chris, Kimber, Emma ,Katie and Grant Kaiser of Higginsville, Mo.; Roger, Katrina, Thane, Seth, Chase, Blaise and Roxanne Kaiser of Salina; Eric Kaiser and Andrew Kaiser, both of Santa Fe, N.M.; Lori, Jason, Bethanie and Ellington Hogle of Silver Lake; Brad, Terrie, and Brett Kaiser and Matt and Mike Smith of Kearney, Neb.; Troy Kaiser and Susan and Cole of Seymour, Ind.; Dale, Sonja and Elise Kaiser of Hesston; Gina, Casey, Zachary and Mason Dodd of Topeka; and Mona and Chad Dodd of Oceanside, Calif.
