Danielle Chambers served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Becky Hardtarfer of Wichita, Kelly Feist of Great Bend, and Lydia Dietz and Jennifer Fiore, both of Lawrence. The bridesmaids wore cherry-red satin and crepe mock two-piece floor-length dresses. The gowns had symmetrically shirred bodies accented with rhinestone buttons and featured a dropped waistline and a fichu collar. The skirts were A-lined crepe. The bridesmaids carried hand-tied bouquets of roses in red, yellow, and orange hues. Adam Reck of Scottsdale, Ariz., served as the best man. The groomsmen were Travis Merz of Overland Park and Bill Hill, Spencer Duncan and Jeff Reiff, all of Topeka. Sydni Sawyer of Hutchinson and Allison Stocker of Great Bend were the flower girls. Instrumental music was provided by Phyllis Hoffman, harpist. Ushers were Joe Wapelhorst of Topeka, Matthew Merz and Michael Merz, both of Meriden, and Steve Dietz and Josh Wilson, both of Lawrence. The bride is a 1994 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in music therapy. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in music therapy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is employed as a music therapist for the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
