Robert Dee Wilson
Robert Dee Wilson, 73 of Ekron, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of IL, a graduate of Bowling Green High School and was a Para Trooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a retired Detective for the Kentucky State Police Department for 25 years and was a Deputy Sheriff in Meade County. He was an officer with the U.S. Mint Police Department of Treasury and was a former Vice President with the Blue Knights KY II Chapter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Ray and Helen Z. Hamilton Wilson. He is survived by one son, Robert Dee (Delores) Wilson, Jr. of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Regina Diane Wilson of Murfreesboro, TN, Ruth Denise Wilson of Georgetown, IN and Rachel Doreen (John) Hosford of Shelbyville, TN; two brothers, Claude Ray Wilson, Jr. of Louisville and Harold Lee Wilson of Nebraska; two sisters, Mary Stewart of Lexington and Martha Smith of LaGrange; a special aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Grover Christy of St. Francisville, IL and eleven grandchildren, Adam, Charles, Aric, Ethan, Roxanne, Jacob, Natarina, Nadia, Isaiah, Gabriel and Connor. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Daisy Jane Knight
Daisy Jane Knight, 102 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab. Center. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Falling Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Hart County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Porter Knight; her parents, John Thomas and Mishie Jane Heath Jenkins; eight brothers, Stanford, Howell, Clarence, Cecil, Lawrence, Guy, Ray and Claude Jenkins; one grandson, Michael Joseph Mahoney; three sons-in-law, Donald Richard Mahoney, James Robert Ogden and John Miniard and one daughter-in-law, Wilma Jean Knight. She is survived by five sons, J. T. Knight of Sonora, Burton (Edna Rose) Knight, Donald (Beverly) Knight, Johnnie (Ann) Knight and Roger (Sherry) Knight all of Upton; five daughters, Golda Jane Miniard of Rineyville, Lavonna (Bonnie) Huddleston, Patsy Darlene Mahoney and Shirley Gale Ogden all of Elizabethtown and Betty Jo (James) Sheroan of Glendale; 28 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Carlon Fields and Rev. Phillip Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Trey Coates
Trey Coates, 41 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Hardin County and was an Inspector at AGC Automotive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Flossie Laverne Coates; his grandparents, Pauline and Otis Coates and a sister-in-law, Tina Compton. He is survived by his wife, Kim Compton Coates; two daughters, Nikki Coates and Shelby Coates; his father, William O. "Duke" Coates; four brothers, Billy (Mary Dale) Coates, Tim (Chris) Coates, Matt Coates and Trent Coates; two sisters, Tonya Coates and Tara Coates; his mother and father-in-law, Ronnie and Gloria Compton; 3 brother-in-laws, Ronnie (Kim) Compton, David (Carrie) Compton and Matt Compton; two sister-in-laws, Kristi (Jason) Comstock and Sarah Compton and several nieces and nephews all of Elizabethtown. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Mary Eunice Hannah Lake
Mary Eunice Hannah Lake, 90 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at her residence. She was a native of Good Springs, TN and was a member of Church of Christ all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon A. Lake; two sons, Larry Lake and Tim Lake; her parents, Robert A. and Willie Beulah Gibbs Hannah and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and her caregiver, Jenny Hinds. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Lewter officiating. Burial will be in Inglewood Park cemetery in Inglewood, CA. Visitation will begin at 12 noon Friday at the funeral home.

Terry Sewell Wright
Terry Sewell Wright, 56 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at her home. She was a native of Somerset and retired from the Hardin County Clerk's office. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Sewell. She is survived by a daughter, Jana Wright of Elizabethtown; her mother, Ruth Sewell of Somerset; one brother, Gordon Sewell of Hilliard, FL; one sister, Erma Sewell of Hilliard, FL and two grandchildren, Zachary Ditto and Jasmine Ditto. A Graveside service will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Hardin Memorial Park with Rev. Dewey Keys, Jr. officiating.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Alice Lucille Key
Alice Lucille Key, 59 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and was a member of the Hardin County Fair Squares and the Bear Tracks Square Dancers. She was a Caretender. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar McDaniel and two brothers, Donald McDaniel and Willie McDaniel. She is survived by her mother, Bessie Bales McDaniel of Elizabethtown; one sister, Charlotte Hicks of Vine Grove; a nephew, Shaun McDaniel of Dayton, OH; one uncle, Nathan Grimes of Elizabethtown and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Elizabethtown City cemetery with Rev. Leroy Routt officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Thursday at Brown Funeral Home.

Rita M. Nall
Rita M. Nall, 54 of Owensboro, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Maple Manor Healthcare in Greenville. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of St. John Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward W. Nall. She is survived by her mother, Marie Wills Nall of Cecilia; two sisters, Carole (Johnnie) Johnson and Kathy (Dale) Wallace; two brothers, Mark (Sabrina) Nall and Phillip (Terry) Nall and 16 nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Lincoln officiating. Burial will follow in St. John cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continue after 9 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home.

Carolyn Sue Masterson
Carolyn Sue Masterson, 65, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of First Christian Church. She was retired from Robert E. Masterson Electric Co. as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Mary Katherine Elliott Abell. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert E. "Bobby" Masterson of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Bobbie Sue (Mark) Wood of Elizabethtown; one brother, Bud (Mary Helen) Abell of Radcliff; two sisters, Dee (Alton) Masterson and Joyce Nichols all of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Austin Bryan and Nathan Robert Wood both of ELizabethtown. The funeral is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial to follow in St. James cemetery. Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
