Mrs. Doris Lorene Gentry Judd

Mrs. Doris Lorene Gentry Judd, age 76 of Green County, passed away on Monday in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her husband: Owen “Chicken Little” Judd of Green County.

Also surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law: Linda and Frank Wheatley of Buffalo, Mary Frances Thompson, Vicky and Rev. Leslie Jewell all of Greensburg.

5 sons and four daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Becky Judd, Donald Gene and Fredia Judd, Tony and Bessie Judd, Darrell Judd, Timmy and Daphne Judd all of Greensburg.

A sister: Ruby Keith of Campbellsville.

A brother: Gerthie Gentry of Greensburg.

18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mrs. Doris Lorene Gentry Judd, will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Davenport Cemetery.

Family requests visitation after 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Mr. Othel Nelson "Double Dry" Judd
Born: 09/13/1927
Died: 07/28/2004
Visitation: after 3:30 pm on Friday
Funeral Service: 11 am Saturday
Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery

Mr. Othel Nelson “Double Dry” Judd, the son of the late Otis Judd and Nettie Price Judd, was born Tuesday, September 13, 1927 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 in Greensburg. He was 76 years10 months and 15 days of age.

He was a farmer and former logger.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law: Margaret and Junior Kessler of Cookeville, Tennessee; three sons and a daughter-in-law: William A. and Linda May Judd, Michael Ray Judd and Billy Judd all of Greensburg.

Also surviving are two brothers: Georing “Myrtle” Judd and Amos “Puddle” Judd both of Greensburg; three sisters: Norene Judd and Ann Meadows both of Greensburg and Irene Judd of Louisville; five grandchildren: Charlotte Money, Marla Jeffries, Veronica Beard, Holly Ferguson all of Greensburg and Turner Judd of Carthage, Tennessee; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Othel Nelson “Double Dry” Judd, will be conducted Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Garnett Wayne Davis will be officiating.

Mr. William Chester Meadows, age 78, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.

Survivors include his Wife: Cymbelline Rose Meadows of Greensburg.

2 special nieces: Belinda Lee and Veronica Judd, both of Greensburg.

1 sister: Lorene Pierce and her husband Alvin of Greensburg and a host of other nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mr. William Chester Meadows, will be conducted Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Fry Cemetery.

Family request visitation after 4:30 P.M. on Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to the Hospice of Central Kentucky and can be made at the funeral home.

Lorene M. Ray, age 63 of Greensburg, died Wednesday in Louisville at the Jewish Hospital.

Survivors include her husband: Dee Ray of Greensburg.

3 sons: Michael Dee Ray and his wife Peggy Sue, David Allen Ray, Loyd Ray and his wife Sheila all of Greensburg.

4 daughters: Debra Ray Smith, Tina Meece and her husband Mark all of Campbellsville, Betty Curry and her husband Tommy, Brenda Rose and her husband William all of Greensburg.

2 half-sisters: Mable Perkins and Liz Wethington both of Campbellsville, 1 half-brother: Weldon Shreve of Campbellsville; a step-sister: Mary Elizabeth Miller of Florida; a step-brother: Kenneth Shreve of Campbellsville.

8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step-grandchildren 6 step-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lorene M. Ray, Will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Tabernacle Cemetery in Taylor County.

Family requests visitation after 4:00 P.M. on Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Mr. Ira Leon Reynolds
Born: 11/10/1923
Died: 07/29/2004

Funeral Service: 1 pm Sunday
Interment: Greensburg Cemetery

Mr. Leon Reynolds, son of the late Mr. William “Silas” Reynolds and Mrs. Louria Vaughn Reynolds, was born November 10, 1923 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. He was 80 years, 8 months, and 19 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was attending Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Mr. Reynolds was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Rod Lowe Post 124 and the James L. Pruitt Lodge 5813 of the V. F. W. He was also retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways, where he worked with the Engineering Crew and retired after 30 years.

He united in marriage to Miss Betty Wright on December 5, 1947, who survives.

He is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Susan & Garry Larimore of Greensburg; 2 grandchildren: Bethany LeAnne Larimore of Lexington and Kyle Larimore of Greensburg; 3 sisters and 3 brothers: Virgie Wright of Louisville, Zella Judd of Greensburg, Katheryn Loy of Bowling Green, William Grady Reynolds of Indiana, Durward Reynolds of Louisville, and Ray Reynolds of Louisville; and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

The funeral services for Mr. Leon Reynolds, will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery with Military Rite Conducted. Rev. Jim Hagan will be officiating.

Mrs. Janice Arlene Wanamaker, the daughter of Olga Cranton Boudreau and the late Webster Boudreau, was born January 26, 1943 in Sommerville, Massachusetts, and departed this life on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at her home in the Crail Hope Community of Green County. She was 61 years of age.

She was a well known breeder of Collie and Keeshond dogs.

She united in marriage to George Wanamaker, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters: Debra Cobb of New Hampshire and Donna Bourke of Georgia; four sons: William Wanamaker, Edward wanamaker, Kenneth McKiernan and Gary Wanamaker all of New Hampshire; a sister: Sharon Casale of Massachusetts; a brother: Paul Boudreau of New Hampshire; 17 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

The body of Janice Arlene Wanamaker was cremated, there will be no local service or visitation.

Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Hospice of Central Kentucky and can be made at the funeral home or can be mailed to 105 Diecks Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.

Mrs. Myrtle Skaggs Burris
Born: 07/10/1919
Died: 02/24/2005
Visitation: after 4 PM Friday
Funeral Service: Sat. 10 AM
Interment: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Mrs. Myrtle Burris, age 85 of Greensburg passed away Thursday the 24th in Campbellsville.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law: Barbara Bennett of Crestview, Florida, and Orthelia and Weldon Carter of Louisville.

One brother: James Thomas Skaggs of Edmonton.

And a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

The Funeral Services for Mrs. Myrtle Burris will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Friday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
