Interment: Helton Family Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky

Delbert Wayne Helton, of Pontiac, Michigan and formerly of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004 in Pontiac, Michigan.

He was a member of the Closeplint Baptist Church.

His father Elmer Clyde Helton, his mother Gracie Helen Perry Helton, and a brother Charles Helton, preceded him in death.

His survivors include his wife Dianna Kay Helton of Michigan; tow sons Gary Wayne Helton and his wife Kristian of Pontiac, Michigan, and Danny Dwayne Helton and wife Bobbie Joe of Pontiac, Michigan; three brothers, Raymond R. Helton and wife Carolyn of Texas, Jerry M. Helton and wife Ozella of Kentucky, and Willie M. Helton and wife Dee of North Carolina; three sisters, Elva V. Hensley and husband Elmer of Michigan, Freda R. Shackleford and husband David of Kentucky, and Barbara D. Helton of Michigan; and a host of other friends and family to mourn his passing.

The funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at 11 am in the Hart Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lucas officiating. Burial was in the Helton Family Cemetery in Keavy.

His sons and nephews served as pallbearers.

The family received friends from 6 to 9 pm Friday, Jan. 9, at the Hart Funeral Home.

SHE WAS BORN DECEMBER 21, 1931 IN PRESTONSBURG, KY, THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE BERT STRATTON AND VELVA LOWE STRATTON. MRS. SYLVESTER WAS A HOMEMAKER AND MEMBER OF THE RYAN ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH, WARREN, MICHIGAN.

THOMAS E. MUSIC, AGE 56, OF PRESTONSBURG, KY, passed away SATURDAY, JULY 31, 2004, AT THE PIKEVILLE METHODIST HOSPITAL, PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY. HE WAS BORN SEPTEMBER 08, 1947 IN BONANZA, KY, THE SON OF BELVIE AKERS HOWELL, PRESTONSBURG, KY, AND THE LATE ALEX MUSIC.

Interment: Hall Family Cemetery at Grethel, Ky.

Sherman Lee Hall, age 60 of Grethel, ky. passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2004 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1944 at Grethel, Ky. the son of Darkie Akers Hall of Grethel, Ky. and the late Joe J. Hall.

He was a former coal miner.

Other than the mother, he is survived by: His former wife, Agnes Ann Reynolds Hall, One Daughter: Darkus Melinda Hall Porter of Tram, Kentucky, Six Brothers: James Hall, Donald Ray Hall, Joe Hall, Jr. And Andy Stevie Hall all of Grethel, Ky. John M. Hall of Harold, Ky. and Kenas hall of Stanford, Ky. One Grandchild: Jayden Tyler Porter.

Mrs. Georgia Horne Brown

Died: 07/24/2004

Interment: Gayheart Cemetery at Hueysville, Ky.

Georgia Horne Brown, age 68, of Wellington, OH, formerly of Hueysville, Kentucky, wife of John Brown, passed away Saturday, July 24th at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born November 9, 1935 at Hueysville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Myrtle Gayheart Horne. She was retired from Pepsi and member of the Hueysville Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two sons, Michael Brent Shepherd of Mt. Sterling, KY and Larry Keith Shepherd of Hueysville, KY; three brothers, Robert Horne of Kendallville, IN, Ronnie and Mack Horne, both of Hueysville, KY; three sisters, Linda Adcox of Cincinnati, OH, Donna Young of Williamsburg, KY, Connie Prater of Eastern, KY; and one grandson, Brian Shepherd.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Maxine Horne, Rosemary Brown, and Bonnie Matheney, and one grandson, Brandon Shepherd.

Mrs. ELLEN ADAMS ROBINSON

Ellen Adams Robinson, age 92 of Burnside, Ky. passed from this life on July 19, 2004 at the residence of her daughter in Lebanon, Tenn. she was born January 30, 1912 at Carr Creek in Knott County, the daughter of the late Bob Adams.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda Sue Brown of Lebanon, Tenn. Brothers: Taulbee Adams and John Adams both of Pinetop, Ky. and a Sister: Grace.

6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

SHE WAS BORN NOVEMBER 03, 1947 IN HONAKER, KY, THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JAMES MARION “BOB” KIMBLER AND SUSIE COLLINS KIMBLER. MRS. KIMBLER WAS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF COMMUNITY TRUST BANK AND A MEMBER OF THE LOWER TOLER CHURCH OF CHRIST.
