Dallas W. Brock, 43, Mountain Home, formerly of Illinois, died Jan. 24, 2005.
A native of Illinois, he worked as a residential contractor, was a full-time ordained Baptist minister and attended Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Brock; two sons: Casey Brock, Mountain Home; and Jason Wayne Redlin, Wisconsin; one granddaughter, Trinity Redlin, Wisconsin; his father, Jessee James Brock, Coldiron; his mother, Brenda Joyce Dukes, Illinois; four sisters: Roberta Blankenship, Illinois; Sharon Brock, Illinois; Joyce Kotrba, Illinois; and Jessica Bolton, Coldiron; three nephews and two nieces.
Visitation was Thursday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 10 a.m. at Twin Lakes Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating.

James Edward Butler
Harlan
February 4, 2005
James Edward Butler, 78, Harlan, died Feb. 2, 2005, at Knox County Hospital.
A native of Riceville, Tenn., he had lived in Harlan since childhood. He was a graduate of Rosenwald High School and the Kentucky School of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a retired nurse's aid from Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital with 36 years of service, as well as a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 56 years. He worked with the (former) Kennedy Funeral Home and the Bianchi Funeral Homes. He was a deacon and faithful member of the Church of Christ until his health started to fail. He also taught Bible study.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Myrtle Butler.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Della Fitzgerald Butler, Harlan; one son, Marvin Butler and wife, Rose Mary, Ranchocuca-monga, Calif.; one daughter, Anna Michelle Robinson and husband, Michael, Harlan; four grandchildren: Megan Butler and Michael Butler, Ranchocucamonga, Calif.; Shonda Robinson and Brett Robinson, Harlan; one aunt, Lee Cates, Athens, Tenn; his mother-in-law, Anna Fitzger-ald, Harlan; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; and special friend, Glen Harbin.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Harlan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Clover Street Church of Christ with Elder Donald Renfro officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Military rites will be performed at the gravesite by the Harlan Honor Guard.
Harlan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donna Sue Kelly Caudill
Highsplint
January 27, 2005
Donna Sue Kelly Caudill, 39, Highsplint, died Jan. 27, 2005.
A native of Harlan County, she lived here all of her life. She was a housewife and believed in the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Ledford Kelly; her father, John Henry Kelly; a sister, Connie Kelly; and her mother- and father-in-law, Ella and Ralph Caudill.
Survivors include her husband, Caleb Caudill, Highsplint; two children: Savannah Caudill and Caleb Caudill, Highsplint; seven sisters: Mary Saylor and husband, Harold; Margie Caudill; Ann Bush and husband, Vance; Sarah Short and husband, Delmas, all of Holmes Mill; Geraldine King and husband, Bill, Evarts; Rita Wynn and husband, Marshall; Judy Kelly and husband, Bill, all of Closplint; five brothers: David Huff and wife, Brenda; Albert Huff and wife, Frances; Roger Kelly, all of Holmes Mill; Gary Kelly and wife, Marie, Closplint; and Johnny Kelly and wife, Frances, Jeff; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation is today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. David Napier officiating.
Burial will follow at Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Hettie Caudill
Cumberland
January 20, 2005
Hettie Caudill, 92, Cumberland, died Jan. 20, 2005, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born July 6, 1912, at Linefork. She was a clerk at Cumberland Drug Store for 35 years, was a member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church and had lived here for 76 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Charity Ison Cornett; and her husbands, Carl Luke Baker Sr. and Kerna Caudill;
Survivors include three children: Carl Luke Baker Jr., Wilkes-Barre, Penn.; Phyllis Hubbard, Atlanta; and Lavonna Boling, Owensboro; one brother, Daniel Cornett, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday in the chapel of the Day & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Helton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Huff Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Boling, Greg Sams, Derrick Sams, Carl Baker III, Tyler Sams and Jim Bush.
Day & Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Walter H. Cosmah
Mason, Ohio
January 19, 2005
Walter H. Cosmah, 71, Mason, Ohio, died Jan. 19, 2005.
He was the husband of Kathy (nee Elsen) Cosmah and father of Brett Cosmah, George Cosmah and Tony Cosmah.
He is survived by grandchildren. He was the brother of George (Bonnie) Cosmah, Mary Cosmah Johnson and Eugene Collett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the V.F.W., Mason, American Legion, Mason and Howard Lodge 819 F & AM, Baxter.
Visitation is Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Frederick Funeral Home in Cincinnati.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
A courtesy Masonic service will be done by College Hill - Harry S. Johnson Lodge 641 F & AM Sunday at 4:45 p.m.

Thomas Edward Dixon
Jonesborough, Tennessee
January 26, 2005
Thomas Edward Dixon, 60, Jonesborough, Tenn., died Jan. 26, 2005, at Oakland VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
A native of Texas, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he was an air traffic controller. He retired with 22 years of service and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dixon and Lillian Holloway Dixon Crofton.
Survivors include his wife, Dana J. Owens, Jonesborough; two children: Robert Dixon and wife, Donna, West Mayfield, Penn.; and Andrea Langford, Texas; two grandchildren: Joshua Langford and Abigail Dixon; a brother, Richard A. Dixon and wife, Joyce, Wind Ridge, Penn.; a sister, Sherri Dawkins and husband, Hardy, Waynesboro, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday after 11 a.m. at Tri-City Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Maggard Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
