Carl Ray Cline, 76 of Majestic, Ky. passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington, NC.
He was born October 28, 1934 at Majestic, Ky. the son of the late George and Bessie Wallace Cline. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Annette Cline; five brothers, John, Cecil, Jack, Isaac and Acie Cline and five sisters, Rebecca Bostic, Alefair Bell, Essie Ray, Matilda Cline and Carrie Coleman.
He was a retired coal miner from Kentucky Carbon, a member of the UMWA, a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Barry) Dotson of Majestic, Ky. and Lisa Turner of Denton, NC; future son-in-law, Jimmy Hunter; sister, Ester Estep of Aflex, Ky.; four grandchildren, Raymond Daniels, Lisa Wolford, Rebecca Turner and Justin Hall; four great grandchildren, Eric and Caden Daniels and Richie and Ryan Wolford and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11 AM at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Tennis Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky.

Danny Everette Smith, 64, of Chesapeake, Ohio formerly of Huddy, KY. passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord as he was surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Danny was born September 14, 1946, in Huddy, Ky. the son of Ezell Smith and the late Everette Smith. Also preceding him in death was an infant sister, Christine Smith.
He was a graduate of Belfry High School, Huntington Barber College and Huntington School of Beauty Culture. On January 3, 1974, he opened his own business, Daniel's Den Hair Styling where he barbered for 36 years before retiring September 10, 2010, due to failing health. The shop was also well known for his collections of Flamingo's. He was an active member of the Jaycees and a Kentucky Colonel.
Those left to cherish his loving memories include his Mother Ezell; sister Yvonne (Roger) Campbell, niece, Kendra Hurley-Campbell (Josh); his only child, Mark Everette (Sara) Smith; his companion Rhonda Vance; her children Johnnay and Kari Vance, and Amanda Pyles. He was "Papaw" to Baylor, Corbin and Garrett Pyles and Emily Vance. Uncles: Roger L. (Dorothy) Plymale of Pikeville, Ky. and Ralph (Mildred) Plymale Jr. of Freeburn, Ky. Long time friends, Bruce Eanes and Corte Voorhees, also many cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 15, 2010, at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Ky. with Pastor Mark Helton and Pastor W. L. Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Coeburn Point Cemetery, Huddy, KY. Cousins and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 6 till 8 PM Friday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, WV and Sunday from 6 till 9 PM at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Ky.

Ernestine Stalker DeGeorge, 66, of Pikeville, Ky. passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1944 in Martin County, Ky. to the late Julius Elkins and Una Fry Elkins. She is also preceded in death by her late husband; Sterling Stalker. She was a homemaker, mother and wife.
She is survived by her husband; Michael DeGeorge, son; Tony (Glenda) Jude of Harrodsburg, Ky. Daughters; Sheila (Marshal) Phipps of Salem, Va. Theresa (Greg) Plumley of Georgetown, Ky. and Wendy (Sammy) Barker of Chattaroy, WV. Step son; Michael Stalker of Mouthcard, Ky. step daughters; Sherry Napier of Belfry, Ky. and Tara Daughty of Clay City, Ky. brothers; David Elkins of McAndrews, Ky.; Howard Robinette of McAndrews, Ky. Roger Robinette of Tazwell, Va. and Michael Layne Robinette of Runyons Branch, Ky. sisters; Betty Karnes of South Williamson, Ky. Nina Stump of San Bernadino, Ca., and Rosemary "Bud" Whitt of Williamson, WV.; grandchildren, Jessica Abbott, Erica Anderson, Kimmie Perkins, Amanda Hodge, Kristen Butt, Matthew Jude, Carissa Barker and Zackery Barker; step grandchildren, Keith Stalker, Kelsey Napier, Lee Daughty, Caroline Napier, Summer Daughty and Abby Napier; great grandchildren, Noah, Jason, Evan and Paisley and a host of beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 at 1 PM at the Sharondale Church of Christ with Bob Werntz officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Michael DeGeorge, Marshal Phipps, Greg Plumley, Matthew Jude, Zack Barker, Tony Jude, Shibby Karnes and Sammy Barker serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 after 5 PM at the Sharondale Church of Christ with special services at 6 PM.

Mary Elizabeth (Blackburn) Coleman, 70, of Canada, Ky. went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 14, 2010.
She was born August 6, 1940 at Canada, Ky. the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Maudie West Blackburn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Coleman and two brothers, Harold and Millard Blackburn.
She was employed by the Pike County School System for 23 years as a bus driver and cook.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbi Hylton Mullins of Canada, Ky.; two sons, Bobby Dean Coleman Jr. of Canada, Ky. and Jeffrey Lee Coleman of Hatfield, Ky.; four grandchildren, Ammie Brooke Thacker, Ashley Nicole Hylton, Cody Lee Coleman and Kayly Alison Coleman; two great grandchildren, Brookelyn Grace Thacker and Luke Weston Thacker; two nieces, Janice Rhodes of Louisville, Ky. and Ann Thacker of Canada, Ky.; two nephews, Bobby Gene Blackburn of Canada, Ky. and Jerry Blackburn of Columbus, Ohio and a host of close family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Elswick, Mike Smith and J. D. Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery, Sidney, Ky. with Bobby Dean Coleman Jr., Jeffrey Lee Coleman, Debbi Hylton Mullins, Cody Lee Coleman, Brandon Thacker, Chad Stump and Kenny Newsome serving as pallbearers. Russell Lee Blackburn, 56, of Hardy, KY passed away Monday November 15, 2010 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1954 in Pike County, KY, the son of the late Rush and Grace Ball Blackburn. He was a mine inspector, worked in construction and a member of the Belfry Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; Rita Dean Pinson Blackburn, Son; James Russell "Rusty" (Pricilla) Blackburn of Hardy, Ky.; Mother, Janice Lee Maynard of Ball Fork, Ky.; Brothers; Jim Blackburn of Canada, KY, Tunis Blackburn of Indiana and Gary Bostic of Ball Fork, Ky. Sisters; Eunice Hackney of Belfry, Ky. Connie Sullivan of Ball Fork, Ky. Sara Graley of Ball Fork, Ky. Edna Hurd of New Hampshire and Brenda Trevillion of Harrisburg, Ky. Grandchild; Austin Tyler (The Baby) Blackburn, Special Nieces; Whitney Blackburn and Kimberly Robinette, Special Friends; Wilmer Bogar, William Huddle and Henry Meets and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Thursday November 18, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Buddy Kendrick, Roger Blackburn and Terry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at the Blackburn Cemetery, Belfry, Ky. with Bradley Blackburn, Gregory Blackburn, John Stanley, Austin Trout, Jim Blackburn, Justin Blackburn, Fred Bevins, Austin Blackburn and Rusty Blackburn serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilmer Bogar, William Huddle and Henry Meets. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday and Wednesday night at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with special services at 7 PM Wednesday night.

Millard Bevins, 78, of Belfry, Ky. went home to be with the Lord Monday November 15, 2010 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1932 at Toler, Ky. to the late Ireland and Bonnie Helvy Bevins. He is also preceded in death by his brother; Wallace Bevins and sister; Emma Blevins.
Millard was a teacher and coach at Belfry High School for many years. He served as a member and deacon of the Belfry First Baptist Church for 38 years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
He leaves to morn his passing his loving wife of 51 years; Loretta Bevins, son; Jimmy (Dena) Bevins of Belfry, Ky. sister; Phyllis (Bill) Smith of Port Orange, FA. granddaughter; Haleigh Marie Bevins, whom he adored, nephews; Bill David (Karen) Bevins, Wally (Patsy) Bevins, Joe (Cheryl) Smith and Tim (Julie) Smith. He also leaves behind a host of friends and his church family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday November 19, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Brother Mark Helton and Brother Bob Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, at Huddy, Ky. with Roger Campbell, Roger Varney, Charlie Frazier, Gary Layne, David Vargo, Bill Bevins, Wally Bevins and Terry Justice serving as pallberaers. Honorary pallbearers will be his dear lifetime friend, Bob Sparks, Frank Allara, Jim Tom King, Oscar Skeens and Larry Williamson. Visitation will be from 2:30 P.M. till 9 P.M. Thursday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home.

Margaret Darlene Crabtree, 54, of Williamson, WV went home to be with her Lord Monday evening, November 15, 2010 at Charleston Area Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1956 in Mingo County, WV the daughter of Chessel Martin of Williamson, WV and the late R. C. Martin. She was also preceded in death by one son; John Ray Crabtree, father-in-law; Virgil Crabtree and one niece; D. J. Carter.
She was a homemaker, housewife and mother. She attended faithfully the Church of God Acts 20:28.
Besides her Mother she is survived by her husband; Charles Ray Crabtree, daughter; Darlene (Steven) Dingess of Canada, KY; sister, Elva Lou (Ira) Lawson of Delbarton, WV; brothers, Troy (Patsy) Carter of Martin County, KY, Stewart (Linda) Martin of Jennings Creek, WV, Stewart "Bit" (Glenna) Hogan of Holden, WV and Arvil (Dolly) Martin of Dan's Branch, WV; three grandchildren, Camron Blake Crabtree, Steven Dakota Dingess and Hannah Kaye Dingess; special friends, Ida Evans, Daisey Vanover and Sadie Marcum and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 12 Noon at the Church of God Acts 20:28 with Paul Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Crabtree Family Cemetery, Road Branch, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held after 6 PM Thursday at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home and after 5 PM Friday at the Church of God Acts 20:28 with special services at 7 PM with Gary Bo Starr officiating.

Robin Kerry Coley, 49, of Pinsonfork, KY, passed away November 21, 2010, at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born February 1, 1961, in Fort Jackson, SC to the late Jim and Shirley May Coley. She is also preceded in death by one brother; Gregory Allen Coley. She was a homemaker and a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
She is survived by one daughter: Kristen Nicole Case Blankenship of Sidney, KY two sons; Moses Mitchell Case of Sidney, KY and James Gregory Case of Sidney, KY one brother; James Coley II of Lexington, KY and one grandchild; Lucas Charles Blankenship of Sidney, KY and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday November 24, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY.

Donald Eugene Chapman Sr. 78, of McVeigh, KY, passed away November 20, 2010 peacefully from the arms of his loving family to the loving arms of the LORD, following a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born December 4, 1931 at Ball Fork, KY to the late Pem and Bertha Ward Chapman. He attended Ball Fork grade school and attended Belfry High School to 1951 where is was captain of the football team his junior and senior year and was a pitcher and leftfielder for the baseball team.
He was married to his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 58 years; Peggy Jones Chapman whom he married June 30, 1952. Don served in the US Army during the Korean War where he was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1954. He was a retired coal miner of 20 years and he also retired after 20 years of service from Owens Illinios Glass Factory of Columbus, Ohio. Don was an avid coon hunter, he loved his dogs and just sitting on his front porch.
They were blessed with three children; Butch (Angie) Chapman of South Williamson, KY Pamela Lynn (Bobby) Harlow of Paintsville, KY and Randy Dale (June) Chapman of McVeigh, KY; A very special granddaughter; Ashley Nicole, who he considered his own. (His #1 aggravation) Along with six other grandchildren; Donia Chapman Hicks, Aaron "Dibble" Chapman, Ryan Michael Harlow, Payton Ryna Harlow, Brandon Chapman and his number one little buddy; Randy "Pete" Chapman. two great grandchildren; Chandler Hicks and Jodi Dawn Rollins and one who is expected to be born in December. A special friend; Rocky Rollins, who Don thought of as one of his own. He was also blessed with a host of hunting buddies, friends and family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday November 24, 2010 at Belfry Freewill Baptist Church with Shawn Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens. Huddy, KY with Rocky Rollins, Pete Chapman, Brandon Chapman, Ryan Harlow, Dart Phillips, Chandler Hicks and Aaron Chapman serving as pallbearers. Military services will be performed by the Belfry Chapter #141 D.A.V. Visitation will be held after 6 PM Monday and Tuesday night at Belfry Freewill Baptist Church with special services at 7 PM Tuesday night.

Walter Sullivan, 86, of Ball Fork, Ky. passed away Monday November 22, 2010 at the South Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital emergency room. He was bornOctober 18, 1924 at Blackberry, Ky. to the late Male and Sironey Casey Sullivan. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years; Opal Sullivan, five brothers and three sisters. He was a retired coal miner from Eastern Coal Company and an elder in the Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons; Bobby Sullivan of Pinsonfork, Ky. Walter (Vickie) Sullivan of Borderland, WV, and Frank G. (Connie) Sullivan of Pinsonfork, Ky. four daughters; Phyllis (William) Dotson of Pinsonfork, Ky. Jane (John) Bowersmith of Hardy, Ky. Brenda (Kennie) Chapman of Pinsonfork, Ky. and Janet Sullivan of the home, eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday November 27, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Raymond Stanley, Paul Varney, John Jacob and David Jacob officiating. Burial will follow at Sullivan Cemetery, Ball Fork, Ky. with grandchildren and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday and Friday night at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with special services both nights at 7 PM.

Mary Irene "Kitty" Pecco Salyers born on September 20, 1927, left this world in the arms of angels on November 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Pecco, Sr., her mother, Mariah Pecco, her husband, Carl Dan Salyers; two brothers: Buster Pecco and Sam Pecco; and two sisters: Lois Stratton and Anna DiBuono. She is survived by four sons: William Dan Salyers, Sr. and his wife Angela Patrice, George Larry Salyers, Sr. and his wife Angela, Tom Salyers, Sr. and his wife Jennifer, and her baby son, Joe Salyers: one brother: Tom Pecco, Jr. and three sisters: Marie Ball, Jenny Nelson and Pauline Hackney: 11 grandchildren: 15 great grandchildren, and multiple extended family and friends. She was a lifelong business owner of the Butcher Shoppe in Hampton, Virginia. She was a lifelong member of the Hampton Church of Christ, and Sharondale Church of Christ in Sharondale, KY, and a strong supporter of multiple charities.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Sunday November 28, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky.
Visitation will be from 6 till 9 P.M. Friday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home and at 6 P.M. Saturday night at Sharondale Church of Christ with special services at 7 P.M. Please join the family following the funeral service Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Belfry for dinner. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you make donations to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry or to the local food bank in her name.

Dylan Thomas Caines, 21, of South Williamson, Ky. passed away Thursday November 25, 2010 at the South Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital Emergency Room. He was born May 21, 1989 at Williamson, WV to Bernard and Linda Maggard Caines. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Bernard and Greetis Caines, James and Bonnie Maggard, two aunts; Vonda Blackburn and Dorothy Stollings. He was a graduate of Belfry High School 2007 Class.
He is survived by his parents; Bernard and Linda Maggard Caines, sister; Lea Ann Caines and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday November 27, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Ron Sanger officiating. Entombment will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Jimmy Bevins, Doug Blackburn, Shawn Blackburn, Ted McCoy, Rick Elia and Ervin McCoy serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home.

Jeffery Rutherford, 53, of Sharondale, Ky. passed Thursday November 25, 2010 at the South Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital Emergency Room. He was born September 7, 1957 in Williamson, WV to Rolin T. and Bonnie Loggins Rutherford of Sharondale, Ky. He ws preceded in death by his grandparents; Henry and Willia Fickey, and Graland and Roxie Zornes Rutherford. He was a retired coal miner, a member of the Belfry Freewill Baptist Church and graduated from Belfry High School in 1975 and Pikeville College in 1977.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa Williamson Rutherford, daughters; Kristin Renea Rutherford and Tamara Michele Rutherford both of the home and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Monday November 29, 2010 at the Belfry Freewill Baptist Church with Buddy Kendrick and others officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Randall Scott, Kevin Fickey, Greg Fickey, Justin Fickey, Jamie Williamson and others serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday and Sunday night at Belfry Freewill Baptist Church with special services both nights at 7 PM.

Marcella Ray, 56, 0f Rockhouse, Ky. passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born July 31, 1954 at Williamson, WV to the late Claude and Hazel Fields Whitt. She is also preceded in death by her husband; John Willie Ray and one brother. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors are three sons; Rocky Lee (Lisa) Ray of Rockhouse, KY, Matthew (Elane) Ray of Dingess, WV and Jimmy Dale (Elizabeth) Ray of Rockhouse, KY six sisters; Rita Ray, Pam Ray, Judy Whitt, Maggie Blankenship, Rebecca Whitt and Delilah "Dee" McQuire, and three grandchildren; Summer Ray, Chloe Ray and Toby Ray.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Tuesday November 30, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Scotty Mullins and Others officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Vance Cemetery, Cub Fork, Dingess, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday and Monday night at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with special services at 7 PM Monday night.
