Glenna Hatfield, 77 of Ft. Worth, Texas formerly of Pinsonfork, Ky. passed away
Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Baylor All Saints Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas.
She was born September 28, 1935 in Pike County, Ky. the daughter of the late George
Robert and Luna Stanley Ball. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Anderson
"Ance" Hatfield; grandson, Little John Hatfield; three sisters and one brother.
Glenna was a member of the Samaria Primitive Baptist Church, a former active member
of the Kentucky Democratic Women's Club and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Barbara (Jim) Runyon of Parkersburg, WV, Johnny
Hatfield of Pinsonfork, KY and Cherish (Bobby) Lour of Ft. Worth, Texas with whom she had
made her home with the past few years; two granddaughters, Sarah Hatfield of Williamson, WV
and Natalie Lour of Ft. Worth, Texas; special friend, Brenda Smith of Pinsonfork, Ky. and a
host of other family, friends, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Elswick, Onis Smith and Johnny Jacobs officiating. Burial
will follow in the Anderson Hatfield Cemetery, Pinsonfork, Ky. with Casey Lester, Zach Lester,
Bobby Lour, Brett Moore, Justin Browning and Jackson Thacker serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Saturday and Sunday at the Funeral Home Chapel
with special services Sunday at 7 PM with Primitive Baptist Ministers.

Rev. John (Johnny) Kenneth Williamson, 50, of Glasgow, KY,
formerly of Canada, KY went home to be with the Lord, September 11, 2013 at Greenview Regional Hospital, Bowling Green, following a lingering illness.
Born May 23, 1963, in South Williamson, KY. John was a graduate
of Belfry High School and Morehead State University. Being a talented
singer and musician, from youth, used his talents in service for the Lord.
Later resulting in a career as Minister of Music in Oneida, TN and his home church of Pinsonfork Church of God.
While under the mentorship of his former pastor, the late Rev. W.B. Collins of Johnson
City, TN, John felt a calling of God upon his life to become a minister of the gospel. After a
short time, his former pastor and mentor, Rev. Lindsey Cornett, later set John forth into
ministry and assisted him to achieve licensure. He attained the status of Ordained Bishop with
the Church of God of Cleveland, TN. and went on to pastor churches in Biggs, KY, Clay City,
IN, and Coral Hill in Glasgow, KY, where he ministered until his death.
He will be fondly remembered for his tender hearted nature, his legendary sense of
humor, ability to tell a funny story, his loyalty and love toward his family, his desire to minister
the word and his deep devotion to God.
John was preceded in death by his, paternal grandparents, Walter Williamson and Naoma
Fuller Williamson, step grandfather, Appy Thacker, and his maternal grandparents, John Thomas and Irene Dotson Runyon.
John is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Caudill Williamson: his parents, Kenneth
and Janice Runyon Williamson: sister, Kathy Williamson Myers and brother in law, Dwight
Myers of Independence, KY: nephew, Robert L. Myers, Independence, KY: niece, Susan K.
Myers, Lexington, KY, adopted brother, Alex Chemwolo of Georgetown, KY. His father and
mother in law's, Claudie and Louise Caudill of Cleveland, TN and sister in law, Elizabeth
Caudill of Pineville, KY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and church family which will cherish his memory.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be Noon Wednesday at the Pinsonfork Church of God, Pinsonfork,
KY, with Rev. Claudie Caudill and Rev. Lindsey Cornett, officiating. Burial will follow at
Mountain View Memory Gardens in Huddy, KY with the Rev. Rick Hisle, performing the
committal. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Sheila Scott 59, of Smith Towers, Matewan, WV passed away Tuesday, September 17,
2013 in the Emergency Room of the Williamson Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1954 at South Williamson, Ky. the daughter of Tiny Ferrell Whitt
of McCarr, Ky. and the late Irvin Scott. A brother, Ernest Roland Scott, also preceded her in
death. Sheila was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and sister.
Besides her Mother she is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Darin) Whitt of Hardy, Ky.
and Kelli Blankenship of Beech Creek, WV; two sisters, Ruth Hatfield of High Point, NC and
Rhonda Daniels of KY; four grandchildren, Danielle Church, Chance Whitt, William
Blankenship and Brianna Kidwell and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 6 -9 PM at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home
with a memorial service at 7 PM.
Per her request, she will be cremated.

Larrie Curry, age 70 of Columbus, Oh passed away September 18, 2013 in Columbus. He
was retired from Lucent Technologies.
He is survived by two brothers; Bobby C. Curry and Carl B. Smith, two sisters; Cathy
Smith and Colene Rece, nephews; Dwight (Sonia) Varney, David (Kathy) Varney, Robert
(Carolyn) Curry and James (Angel) Curry, four great-nephews, two great-nieces and a greatgreat nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday September 22, 2013 at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home with Mikie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bowling-Curry Cemetery,
Turkey Creek, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 - 9 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Albert Ray Williamson, age 46 of Sidney, KY passed away Friday
September 20, 2013 at the South Williamson Appalachian Hospital. He
was born November 27, 1966 at South Williamson, KY to Donald Ray
and Beulah Ann May Williamson of Sidney, KY.
He was a mechanic for Lee Branham Citgo.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers; Bruce (Becky)
Williamson of Canada, KY, Ronald (Missie) Williamson of Kermit, WV,
and Brian (Tessy) Williamson of Kimper, Ky, nephews; Ronald Lee (Katelyn) Williamson and Thomas Williamson, nieces; Kelsey Williamson, Skyler Williamson, Katie Williamson, Emily Williamson, Briley Williamson and Natalee Williamson, one great nephew; Konner Lee Williamson and a host loving family and friends.
Funeral services will conducted at 11 AM Monday September 23, 2013 at the Dix Fork
Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.
Burial will follow at Stanley Cemetery at Sidney, KY with Ronald Lee Williamson, Robert Varney, Tony Ray Williamson, Donald Williamson, Greg Varney, Jack David Williamson and Roy Michael Williamson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Bruce May, Jackie Looney, Timmy Coleman, Lee Branham and Rick Mullins.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the Dix Fork Old Regular Baptist Church with special services at 7 PM.

Kenneth Anthony Hambrick, 75, of Williamson, WV passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 10, 1937 in Williamson, WV the son of the late Lula May Hambrick. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Iva "Sissy" Hambrick.
He was a member of the Methodist AME Church and had worked for
Coca Cola Company for many years and in the coalmines.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Hambrick Jr. and Vernon
Hambrick, both of Williamson, WV; five grandchildren; one great
grandchild and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 12:30 PM at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Dotson of the Logan Street First Baptist Church
giving the Eulogy. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until time for the Funeral Saturday at the Funeral Home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Harry L. Joyce Center, The Logan Street First Baptist Church, WV, Choice Mingo & Wayne County Health, Dignity Hospice, Vickie Lipps and Robert Burnette.

Norman Douglas Stepp, 60 of Beech Creek, WV passed away Wednesday, September 25,
2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born August 14, 1953 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital, Williamson, WV the
son of Kathleen Stepp of Rawl, WV and the late Jake Stepp, Jr. Besides his father he was also
preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Victoria Lowe Stepp and his maternal
grandmother, Myrtle Bare.
Norman was a member of the Church of Christ, Hardy, Ky. Before his retirement he was
employed by the WV Department of Transportation in Mingo County. During his
employement he held several positions, one being the Mingo County Supervisor.
Besides his Mother he is survived by his wife, Connie Mahon Stepp of Beech Creek,
WV; two daughters, Christie (John) Beresh of Jacksonville, FL and Tina (Todd) Collins of
Varney, WV; one son, Norman Douglas (Paige) Stepp of Belfry, Ky.; sister, Sylvia (Ed)
Lockard of Rawl, WV; brother, Tom Stepp of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Madison
Dingess, Parker Collins, Alyssa Stepp, Jonathan, Micah and Chasya Beresh; brother-in-laws,
Bo (Cookie) Kennedy, Bruce (Brenda) Kennedy and Charles Kennedy all of Beech Creek, WV
and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Lockard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with family and church members serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 - 9 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel.

Clyde William Harlow, 75, of Stone, Ky. won his battle with
sickness and went home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on
Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Born August 25, 1938 he was
the son of the late John and Effie Stapleton Harlow.
Clyde was a member of McVeigh Baptist Church and a
former member of the United States Air Force. Clyde was an avid
follower of three things: his faith, his family and the University of
Kentucky Wildcats. He was not afraid of death and had hoped in
recent days that his life and death could be a witness to others for Jesus Christ.
Clyde was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived
by his wife, Aundra Kay (Long) Harlow of Stone; his daughters, Tammy (Ken #1 son-in-law)
Lee of Pinsonfork, Anita (Robert) Lequire of Belfry, Kim (Randy) Varney of Williamson,
Tammy (Mike) Ray of Belfry and his son, Don (Leslie) Harlow of Winston-Salem, NC.
Clyde's grandchildren and great grandchildren include, Brent (Kristie) Lee and their children,
Kenzi, Kara and Kyla of Pikeville, Shawn (Anita Joe) King and their children, Sam and Sydney
("little red") of Richmond, Ky., Kendra (Harvey) Maynard and their child, Savanna of
Pinsonfork, Madison, Will and Cole Harlow of Winston-Salem, NC, Destinee Feye and Ian Elia
and their children Kaylee and Zoee of Williamson Cassie (Stewart) Windle and their children
Logan and Layla of Clayton, NC, Casey (Sabrina) Lequire and their children, Mia and Mila of
Pikeville, Aidan Carroll of Pinsonfork, Leslie Varney of Williamson, Mikey Ray and Jackson
of Belfry. Clyde also had special neighbors, Terry, Sabrina and Todd Smith who have
selflessly treated Clyde and Aundra as their own parents and are indeed, family.
Clyde was the youngest of 9 children and was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd,
Carl, Ray and Robert Harlow and his sister, Louella Harlow Hurley and 2 infant brothers and an infant sister.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 28 at McVeigh Baptist Church, Sharondale from 6 -
10 PM with funeral services on Sunday at 2 PM conducted by Pastor James R. Justice and
Pastor Shawn Ward. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Shawn King, Brent Lee, Casey Lequire, Stewart Windle, Harvey
Maynard, Ian Elia and his favorite son-in-law, Ken Lee. Belfry Chapter #141 DAV will also
conduct military graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, Clyde requested that donations be made to the Vine ministry services
at PO Box 423 Hardy, Ky. 41531.
