Regina Lynn Thomas, 33, of Ransom, KY passed away Saturday,
October 25, 2014 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born May 26, 1981 at Williamson, WV the daughter of Carl
Thomas Jr. and Barbara Dotson Thomas of Ransom, KY. She is also
survived by her husband, Clifford Dean Thomas of Ransom, KY;
children, Jacob Junior Thomas, Brittany Nicole Thomas and Veronica
Lynn Thomas all at home; a very special child, Kaylee Thomas; four step
daughters, Mindy (Josie) Adkins of Stopover, KY, Amy Marie (Crash)
Craddock of Belfry, KY, Stacy Thomas and Crystal Dawn Thomas (Henry Wolford) all of
Stopover, KY; three brothers, Roy (Natasha) Blankenship, Billy (Hope) Thomas and Kevin
Thomas (Kayla McGraw) all of McCarr, KY; three sisters, Amanda (Ebby) Lester of Varney,
WV, Marlena (Stewart) Davis of Williamson, WV and Joyce (D.J.) Prater of McCarr, KY; six
step grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Noon, Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Samaria Primitive
Baptist Church with Okey Varney and Ervin Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the
Thomas Cemetery, Ransom, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 4 PM Friday and Saturday at the Church. Special services will
be held Friday at 7 PM with Okey Varney and Ervin Francis and Saturday at 7 PM with Daniel Dotson.

Larry Willis Spencer, 85, of Aflex, KY passed away Wednesday, October
29, 2014 at Good Shepherd Community Nursing Center, Phelps, KY.
He was born April 11, 1929 in Pike County, KY the son of the late Albert
and Alice Bell Collins Spencer. He was also preceded in death by a brother,
Randy Spencer, son, Marty Spencer and great nephew, Jarrod Maynad.
He was a retired coal miner, a veteran of the United States Army and
Member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include five children, Christine VanNostrand of Aflex, KY,
Deborah (Reb) Bean of Maryland, Melvin (Teri) Spencer of Stewart, VA, Grace (Todd)
Woolridge of WV and Tonya Greer of NC; a sister, Ruby Maynard of Aflex, KY; nephew, Tim
(Irvanda) Maynard of Turkey Creek, KY; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11 AM - 1 PM at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel. Belfry Chapter #141 Disabled American Veterans will conduct Military
Graveside Services following visitation. Per his request, he will be cremated.

Carl B. Smith, 85 of Turkey Creek, KY, passed away October 31, 2014 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1929 in Pike County, KY, to the late Ben
and Sophia Stepp Smith. He was also preceded in death by his loving
wife, Anna Lee Smith; sisters, Ann Robinette and Mary Lee Curry;
three infant brothers and sister, Antony, Guy and Thelma Smith;
granddaughter, Keri Ann Dotson and great grandson, David Brody Dotson.
Carl B. was a retired carman with the N. & W. Railroad; a member
of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen; former owner and operator of S. & R. T.V. Cable Co.
at Turkey Creek; President of the Turkey Creek Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years
and a member of the Williamson Area Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (David) Reed of Hardy, KY, Donna (Mike)
Williamson of Lascassas, TN and Sandy (Joe) Broadhead of Hardy, KY; son, Kevin (Shoni)
Smith of South Williamson, KY; sister, Coleen Reece of Gallipolis, Ohio; half sister, Cathy
Smith of Johns Creek, KY; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other
loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 1 PM at the Williamson Area
Church of Christ with Donnie Estep officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy KY. Pallbearers will be Casey Lequire, Jace Williamson, Justin
Williamson, Josh Williamson, Bennie Curry, Keith Looney, Tim Cline and Jack
Cline. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Turkey Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. and his great grandsons.
Visitation will be held after 5 PM Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Williamson Area

Hazel Marie Stacy, 56, of Turkey Creek, KY passed away Sunday morning, November 2, 2014 at her home.
She was born August 20, 1958 at Williamson, WV the daughter of Phyllis Ann Sellards
Williamson of Turkey Creek, KY and the late Avery Williamson. She was a homemaker.
Other than her Mother she is survived by her husband, Frank Herman Stacy of Turkey
Creek, KY; daughters, Amanda Lynn Kinser of Stone, KY and Jessica Michelle Williamson of
Canada, KY; sister, Brenda Bevins of Pikeville, KY; brother, Mitchell Williamson of South
Williamson, KY; six grandchildren, Dalton Brian Jewell, Neil Brian Jewell, Dali Alexis Oliver,
Daniel Avery Oliver, Deric James Stanley and Cameron Jay Kinser and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY with Neil Jewell, Jay Kinser, Robbie Baldwin, Coty Williamson,
Dewayne Blankenship and Neil Jewell Jr. serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 6 - 9 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Ernestine Damron Scalf, 94, of Lexington, Ky. (formerly of Canada, KY) left this life to be
"with her sweet Jesus" on Thursday November 6th.
She was born in Williamson, WV, the daughter of Richard & Grace Webb Damron. Besides
her parents, she was also preceded in death by a beloved stepmother Bertha Damron Surgeon,
an infant brother and brother, Harold Damron, plus numerous special brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edgar Scalf; two sons, Daniel R. Scalf (Joan)
Lexington, KY & Phillip E. Scalf (Carla) of Ozark, MO; five grandchildren, Becky Scalf
Williams (Matthew) of Nicholasville, KY and Dr. Richard E. Scalf (Dr. Leigh Ann)of
Lexington, KY; Nicholas Scalf and Harrison Scalf (Erica) of Springfield, MO. & Derek Scalf
of St. Louis, MO. ; Six great grandchildren, Brittany & Aaron Fannin (children of Becky
Williams); Jillian, Caleb & Nathan Scalf (children of Rick & Leigh Ann); Madison Scalf
(daughter of Harrison & Erica); one sister Eugenia Ann Johnson of Dingmans Ferry, Pa and
one brother, Roger Damron, Huntington, WV, and a beloved sister-in-law Faye Scalf of Sidney,
KY and a host of extended family members and friends.
She graduated from Pikeville College and taught at Bevins Elementary for 30 years, before
her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, quilting, sewing and camping with Edgar and friends. She
was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Old Regular Baptist Church at Sidney, KY.
Visitation will be at the Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, and KY on Saturday November 8th at
6:00 pm with services at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Old Regular Baptist Church, Sidney, KY, on
Sunday November 9th at 2:00 with Hobart Hamliton, Stoney Blackburn and Frank Scott
officiating. Interment to follow in The Smith Cemetery at Sidney, KY. Pall Bearers will be Rick
Scalf, Aaron Fannin, Matt Williams, Derek Scalf, D. G. McCoy, Bryan Ratliff, Chris Blackburn & Stan Scalf.

Mont O. Perry, 81, of Forest Hills, Ky, passed away at his residence
on November 7, 2014, following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 17, 1933 at Red Jacket, WV. He was the son of
the late Oscar Perry and Zenith Vermillion Perry.
Mont was retired from the United States Navy and the United States
Air Force, with a combined 21 years of service. He was a member of
the Chattaroy Church of God, where he served as Chairman of the
Ushers until his illness. After retiring from the military, his greatest
desire was to become a poet. After he became a born-again Christian, he dedicated his talent to
writing Christian poetry. Many of his poems were published in the church bulletin, as well as
the local newspaper. Mont had a book of poems published, entitled, "God, Country, and Home."
Mont is survived by his loving wife, Margie Hammond Perry: brother, Bill Perry of Benton,
IL; sisters, Rose Mae Collins and Sharlet O'Rouke, both of Red Jacket, WV; he is also survived
by a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 Pm Sunday November 9, 2014 at the Chattaroy Church of God.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Monday November 10, 2014 at the Chattaroy
Church of God with Mike Bostic officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory
Gardens, Huddy, KY, with Dale Dempsey, Tom Gannon, Billy Hammond, Paul Thompson,
Dave Hatfield and John Roush serving as pallbearers. Belfry Chapter #141 D. A. V. will
conduct military graveside rites.

Debra Gail Hunnicut, 37, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan passed away
Friday, November 7, 2014 at her home.
She was born December 11, 1976 in Wayne County, Michigan the
daughter of Fredia Roberts Hunnicut of Ferndale, MI and Arthur Hunnicut
of Garden City, MI.
She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Earl
Robert and Ruth Patterson Roberts and paternal grandparents, Vernon and
Lucille Slater Hunnicut.
Debbie was an employee of Ford Motor Company, a member of the
United Auto Workers of America and she was an avid lover of all animals.
Other than her parents, she is survived by a sister, Cheryl Hunnicut of Ferndale, MI; niece,
Mikala Eliza Marotich and nephew, Michael John Marotich Jr. both of Chesterfield Township,
MI and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1 PM at the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the McCoy Cemetery,
Burnwell, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to any Humane Society in her name.
