Michael R. Fields, 50, of Grayson, KY, passed away on November 20, 2014, at the King's
Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.
He was born February 6, 1964. in Williamson, WV to Arnold "Jim" Fields and Grace
McCoy Fields currently of Grayson, KY.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry and Phronsie Runyon McCoy
and his paternal grandparents Raymond and Opal Hunt Fields.
Other than his parents, he is survived by three daughters, Micah Fields, Autumn Fields and
Lakole Fields and one son, Levi Fields. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jaylan Grace,
Amiyah Serenity, Jacob and Zachary as well as a host of loving family members and dear
friends.
Graveside service will be held at the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, at 1PM,
Tuesday, November 25, 2014, with Rev. Eric Hubbard officiating.

Mildred Joyce Moorman of Hardy, KY passed away Sunday,
November 23, 2014, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital of South
Williamson, KY.
She was born at Hardy, KY, to the late Evans and Pearl Presley
Breeding. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Erwin
Breeding, Joe Clair Breeding, Beechel Breeding, and H.B. Breeding.
She was a dedicated retired registered nurse at the Appalachian
Regional Hospital. She was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses, Chattaroy, WV.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Louise) Breeding of Alexandria, OH, a sister, Lori
Dutton of Inverness, FL, several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the R.E.
Rogers Funeral Chapel with Larry Cope officiating. Burial will follow at the Family Cemetery,
Hardy, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Verna Aline Jackson, 87, of Forest Hills, KY, passed away
Wednesday November 26, 2014, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab
Center at Pikeville, KY.
She was born July 15, 1927, at Williamson, WV, to the late Fred
and Myra Kidd Cumiford. She is also preceded in death by her
husband, Homer Jackson, her son, Timothy Neil Jackson and two
infant brothers.
She was a former medical bookkeeper, a graduate of
Williamson High School, a Sunday School teacher for many years
and a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Sally) Jackson of Lexington, KY, and Mark (Tanya)
Jackson of Forest Hills, KY, sisters, Betty Virt of Roanoke, VA, and Debbie Pearson of
Roanoke, VA, grandchildren, Ian Jackson and Kelly Jackson of Lexington, KY, and a host of
nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday November 30, 2014, at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home with James Justice officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory
Gardens, Maher, WV, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday November 29, 2014, at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Forest Hills Baptist Church in her memory.

Lee Roy Runyon, 73, of Turkey Creek, KY passed away Saturday,
November 29, 2014, at the South Williamson Appalachian Regional
Hospital.
He was born April 1, 1941, at Kermit, WV, the son of the late Roy
and Evelyn Jones Runyon. He was also preceded in death by five
brothers, Lewis Ray Runyon, Wendell Glen Runyon, Wilbur Dean
Runyon, Chester Runyon, Larry Joe Runyon and Charles Cecil
Runyon.
He was a retired banker having worked for 30 years at Community Trust Bank, a member of
the 5th Avenue Church of Christ, a veteran of the United States Army and member of the
Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Headen Runyon of Turkey Creek, KY; one
daughter, Lisa Runyon (Gregory) Silvis of Mullica Hill, New Jersey; sisters, Patricia Igo, Joan
(Dean) Crank and Sheila Kay (Michael) Bowens all of Kermit, WV; brothers, Richard (Joyce)
Runyon of Pilgrim, KY and Roger Dale Runyon of Kermit, WV; a special granddaughter,
Gabriella Silvis and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Ferrell, Larry Simpkins and Duane Jones officiating. Burial
will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with Bill Headen, Evan
McCoy, Michael McCoy, Jim McCoy, Orville Hall and Gregory Silvis serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in the funeral home chapel.

Cecil Smith, 66, of McAndrews, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the South
Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He was born June 8, 1948, at McAndrews, KY, the son of the late Freelin and Hester Smith.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Gene and Franklin Ronald Smith.
He was retired from the Appalachian Regional Hospital; a veteran of the United States Army
and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gail Smith; sons, Mark Allen Smith of Williamson, WV,
Scott Adam Smith of Turkey Creek, KY, and Dustin Kent Smith of Greenville, TN; step sons,
Gary Goff II of Pinsonfork, KY, and Mark Goff of Lenore, WV; sister, Linda (Terry Paul) May
of McAndrews, KY; brother, Freeland (Evelyn) Smith Jr. of Cincinnati, OH; grandson, Justin
Trevis Smith; step grandchildren, Shylah Goff, Kaleigh Goff, Aliyah Goff, Blade Goff, Skyler
Goff, Terry Moore and Kiara Jewell; great grandson, Houston Trevis Smith and a host of other
family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Gerria Reynolds and others officiating. Burial will follow in the
Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with Belfry Chapter #141 DAV conducting
Military Graveside Services. Pallbearers will be Gary Goff II, Mark Goff, Mark Smith, Scott
Smith, Stevie May, Stan Smith and Larry Daniels. Junior pallbearer will be Blade Goff.
Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday night from 6 - 9 PM in the funeral home chapel
with special services Friday at 7 PM.

Franklin L. Smith, 70, passed away December 2, 2014, at St. Mary's
Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born April 21, 1944, in Williamson,
WV, to the late Floyd and Marie Dotson Smith.
Frank grew up in Chattaroy, WV, and graduated from Chattaroy
High School in 1962. After high school, he attended Concord College
in Athens, WV, where he played basketball.
He was a faithful member of the Memorial Church of Christ in
Williamson. Frank was a basketball enthusiast and coached AAU
Boys’ basketball, Williamson Midget League basketball, Girl's Junior
High Basketball at Lenore, Girl's softball in Williamson and served as an assistant basketball
coach at Williamson High School, Matewan High School, Tug Valley High School and most
recently at Sheldon Clark High School in Inez, KY with his son, Frankie. Frank touched the
lives of many of the young athletes in the Tug Valley area. He was recently inducted into the
Chattaroy High School Hall of Fame and Mr. Chattaroy High School at the last Chattaroy High
School reunion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Marie Dotson Smith and his brother,
Floyd (June) Smith Jr.
Frank is survived by his wife, Judy Slater Smith of Barboursville, WV; his son, Frankie (Jill)
Smith of Inez, KY and daughters, Djuana (Jake) Smith Anderson of Harold, KY, Sharen (Ed)
Greene of Lexington, NC and Karen (David) Childress of Morristown, TN. Grandchildren are
Madison Smith, Chase Stepp, Jessica Stepp, Kaylee Dyke and Ronnie Dimaline. Stepchildren
include John Michael (Lisa) Phillips, Tabitha Phillips and Amy Beth Phillips Elliott. Step
grandchildren include Ian (Aimee) Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Jordan Phillips, Blake Phillips,
Nikki Phillips and Grayson Elliott.
Frank held dearly his family; which include, brothers: Bill (Susie) Smith, Gary (Sally)
Smith, Mont (Tammy) Smith and sister, Debbie Smith and sister-in-law Sharon Smith. A host
of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends survive.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014, from 6 - 8 PM at the Belfry High School
Auditorium.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 1 PM in the Belfry High School
Auditorium with Dwayne Smith and Bob Huron officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain
View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with Ronnie Dimaline, Chase Stepp, Matthew Phillips, Ian
Phillips, John Michael Phillips and Willie Gore serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Frank's memory to
your local youth basketball association.

Jerry Bruce Davis, 56, of Hardy, KY passed away Thursday,
December 4, 2014 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He was born July 1, 1958, at South Williamson, KY the son of the late
Walter and Edith Smith Davis.
He grew up in Hardy, KY, where he stayed and raised his family.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Davis.
He was a retired coal miner and member of the United Mine Workers
of America.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Lockard Davis; sons, Michael
(Jennifer) Smith and Jeremy (Shannon) Davis both of Lexington, KY;
daughter, Jennifer Davis and (Roy Hilton III) of Boone County, WV; grandchildren, Austin,
Devin, Brooklyn, Morgan and Candance; four brothers, five sisters and a host of other family
and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2014, at the Turkey Creek Old Regular
Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the
Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 6 - 9 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home Chapel with special services both nights at 7 PM.
