Brenda Joyce Murphy, 67, of Delbarton, WV passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, at
the Williamson Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1948 at Barnshee, KY, the daughter of the late Willie Arnold
"Jake" Wolford and Genevea Layne Wolford. She was also preceded in death by two sisters,
Helen (Peter) Mounts and Pricy Lester.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Apolostic Bible Way Church, Matewan, WV.
Survivors include her husband, Larry J. Murphy of Delbarton, WV; sons, Burton (Vicki)
Murphy of Matewan, WV and Jamie (Hazel) Murphy of Delbarton, WV; sisters, Opal Jackson
of Matewan, WV, Ocie (Bernard) Smith of McCarr, KY and Erma Lou (Larry) Kennedy of Big
Ugly, WV; grandchildren, Jordan (Autumn) Murphy, Bethany Murphy, Matthew Murphy and
Jamie Murphy Jr. and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 12, 2015, at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY. Pallbearers will be Jordan Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Jamie
Murphy Jr., Everette Fields, Mark Smith and Joey Smith.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015, from 6 - 9 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Dimple Bishop, 86, of Williamson, WV passed away Sunday
night, October 11, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born July 31, 1929, at Varney, WV the daughter of the
late Green and Ida Deboard Justice. She was also preceded in
death by brothers, Bobby Justice and Opal Burke and a sister,
Aileen Neilson.
Dimple was a retired beautician and a member of the Varney
Church of God. She loved entertaining her friends as well as cooking and everyone loved her rum cake. She especially enjoyed her
trips to her favorite restaurant, Pekings, where Connie and her
staff treated her as a special friend as well as their guest. Her sunroom was her special place.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Bishop of Williamson, WV; children, Billy Ray Bishop
of Lenore, WV, Michael (Linda) Bishop of Middlesboro, TN, Sue (Don) Bishop McCoy of
Bluffton, SC and Judy (Glenn) Bishop Jessee of St. Paul, VA; brother, Billy Justice of
Dearborne Heights, MI; grandchildren, David Michael (Rebecca) Varney, Mary Lou (Rich)
Gott, Brandon (Brittany) Beverly, Steven Ray Bishop, Dr. Sheena (Kevin) Jessee and Kayla
(Casey) Hatmaker; ten great grandchildren; special niece, Gail Dotson; special friend, Andrea
Smith and her special pet, Fluffy.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, beginning at 6 PM. Funeral services will
be held at 8 PM with Ralph Pyszkowski officiating.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at 11 AM at Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Maher, WV. Pallbearers will be Brandon Beverly, Steven Bishop, K. J. Phillips, Rich Gott, Casey Hatmaker and Kevin Pearson.

Earl Douglas Howard, 89 of Chattaroy, WV passed away Friday morning,
October 16, 2015, at the Tug Valley Regional Medical Center.
Earl was born February 4, 1926, at Kermit, WV the son of the late Preston
Howard Sr. and Pearl Kirk Copley. He was also preceded in death by three
brothers, Preston Howard Jr., Don Howard and Larry Howard and one sister,
Evelyn Banfield.
Earl was a retired coal miner from Island Creek #25 and Sycamore Coal
Co. He was a member of the UMWA, the Williamson Shrine Club and Chattaroy Church of God. He was an avid Williamson Wolfpack fan and the
scorekeeper for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Grace Harmon Howard of Chattaroy, WV;
daughters, Phyllis Howard (Greg) Southers of Chattaroy, WV, Margaret Howard (Curt) Fletcher of Borderland, WV and Carolyn Sue Howard (Rick) Oxley of Milton, WV; one son, Earl Michael (Dina) Howard of Abingdon, VA; one sister, Ruby (Donnie) Huff of Chattaroy, WV; one
brother, Bobby (Mary Lou) Howard of Chattaroy, WV; nine grandchildren, Jarrod Curtis
Fletcher, Amy Fletcher (Jeff) Simpkins, Gregory Gene (Donna) Southers, Christopher Eugene
(Cari) Southers, Susan Elizabeth Oxley, Jordan Howard Oxley, Sarah Easterling, Daren
Easterling and Rebecca Easterling; eight great grandchildren, Peyton Huddle, Reagan Southers,
Fletcher Simpkins, Jaxson Southers, Raegan Easterling, Matthew Easterling, Pierce Easterling,
Teddy Nance and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 19, 2015, at 11 AM at the Chattaroy Church
of God with Mike Bostic and Haskell Runyon officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Maher, WV. Belfry Chapter #141 Disabled American Veterans will conduct
military graveside services. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Fletcher, Gregory Southers, Chris
Southers, Jordan Oxley, Peyton Huddle, Jeff Simpkins and a special friend, Bill Watson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 5 - 9 PM at the Chattaroy Church of
God. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, Ky. is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Skilled Nursing Facility
of the Tug Valley Regional Medical Center, South Williamson, Ky. 41503.

Frank Herman Stacy, 55, of Turkey Creek, KY passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at
the Tug Valley Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 24, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Frank and Ruby Varney Stacy. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Marie Stacy and a grandson, Neil
Brian Jewell Jr.
Frank was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA.
Survivors include his daughters, Jessica (Neil) Jewell of Canada, KY and Amanda (Jay)
Kinser of Stone, KY; one sister, Deborah (Johnny) Lequire of Chuckey, TN; grandchildren,
Dalton and Skyla Jewell, Dali and Daniel Oliver, Deric Stanley and Cameron Kinser and a host
of friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 12 Noon in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Carl David Church, 63, of Hardy, KY, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Tug Valley Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 27, 1952 at Williamson, WV, to the late Delmer and Maudie Whitt
Church. He is also preceded in death by his son, Charlie Ward. Brother, Delmer Jr. Church and
sister, Tiny Church.
He was a mechanic and a member of Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church. He was loved by
all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gail Church of Hardy, KY. Three sons, David (Creasy)
Church of Williamson, WV, Scottie (Barbara) Church of Portsmouth, OH, and Randy (Tasha)
Church of Hardy, KY. Two daughters, Beverly (Chris) Toops of Delbarton, WV, and Tina
(Bryan) Pack of War, WV. Five brothers, Donnie (Annie) Church of Blackberry, KY, James
(Linda) Church of Morehead, KY, Benny (Nicole) Church of Blackberry, KY, Mike (Kandi)
Church of Blackberry, KY, and Mickey (Leisha) Church of Belfry, KY. Four sisters, Arta
(Bruce) Tilley of Hardy, KY, Ruthie (Ronnie) Sullivan of Blackberry, KY, Nita (Dean) Norman
of McCarr, KY, and Sue (Tommy) Tilley of Blackberry, KY, twenty grandchildren, three great
grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Monday October, 26, 2015, at Bluesprings
Freewill Baptist Church with Larry Hubbard, Floyd Church Jr., and others officiating. Burial
will follow at Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Randy Church, Scottie
Church, David Church, Bryan Pack and Chris Toops serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday and Sunday night at Bluesprings Freewill Baptist
Church with special services both nights at 7 PM.

Glennis Runyon Keene, 56, of Pikeville, KY, passed away Saturday October 24, 2015, at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born May 16, 1959, at Pikeville, KY, to Martha Runyon of Johns Creek, KY, and the late Alfred Runyon.
She was a former Chiropractor assistance for Dr. Steven Harrison for 20 years and a member of the Pilgrim Home Old Regular
Baptist Church.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jimmy
Keene of Pikeville, KY, daughter, Ashli Nichols (Jody) Hinkle of
Navarre, FL. Three sisters, Nadine (Mark) Webb of Sidney, KY,
Marsha (Bill) Lowe of Meta, KY, and Melissa (Kelvin) Lewis of Pikeville, KY. Two grandchildren, Kaylin Bryant and Drew Bryant and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Pilgrim Home
Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow at
Runyon-Maynard Cemetery. Piso, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday, October 25, 2015, and Monday, October 26, 2015,
night at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with special services at 7 PM Monday
night.

Ronald Delmar Edwards, 67, of Canada, KY passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the
Pikeville Medical Center.
Ronald was born August 1, 1948, at Leeco, KY the son of the late Delmar and Gertrude
Smyth Edwards.
Ronald worked as a purchasing agent for Sidney Coal for many years and for the Pikeville
City Fire Department for 12 years. Ronald was a member of the Rogers Missionary Baptist
Church, Rogers, KY. He also served in the United States Navy. Ronald loved to do wood working, work puzzles, UK basketball and firefighting.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Judith Blackburn Edwards as well as his two sons,
Shane (Amanda) Edwards of Cincinnati, OH and Devin Tyler (Sierra) Edwards of Dayton, OH.
He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Taylor Lyndsay Edwards and Brady Shane Edwards.
Ronald was also survived by three sisters, Elaine (Mike) Lowe of Mt. Sterling, KY, Susie (Bill
"Giggles") Williamson of Pikeville, KY and Peggy Edwards of Mt. Sterling, KY along with one
brother Roger Edwards of Calhoun, GA and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015, beginning at 1 PM at R.E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel, with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery
Sidney, KY with Evan Stanley, Darrell Stanley, Bill Williamson, Sean Cochran, Mike Lowe,
Robbie Lindsey, Gary Hackney and Roger Edwards servings as pallbearers. Belfry D.A.V
Chapter #141 will be conducting military graveside services.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
