Linda Faye (Hayton) Maynard, 68, of Goody, KY passed away Friday morning, November
20, 2015, at her residence.
She was born December 18, 1946, at McCarr, KY the daughter of the late James and Mary
Jane Presley Hayton. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Maynard; sisters,
Barbara Silvey and Janet Hayton and a brother, Daryl Hayton.
Linda was a homemaker, caretaker and member of the Canada Freewill Baptist Church. She
was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Maynard; daughters, Anita Maynard Helvey and husband, James Helvey, Kathie Jo Maynard and Shelly Maynard Stewart and her husband, Gary
Stewart; brothers, James Hayton and Alfred Hayton; grandchildren, Alexis Hatfield, Raina
Helvey, Ashley Hatfield, Garrett Helvey, Caleb Sund and Layla Helvey and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Sunday, November 22, 2015, at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Buskirk Cemetery, Buskirk, KY. Pallbearers will be Gary Stewart, James Helvey, Garrett Helvey, Sammy
Maynard, Sammy Maynard Jr. and Scott Maynard.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Saturday, November 21, 2015, at the funeral home chapel.

Kay Carol Chafin, 79, of South Williamson, KY, passed away Friday,
November 20, 2015, at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center.
She was born September 1, 1936, in Plainview, Texas the daughter of the
late Grover and Opal Smith Jarvis. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, James Clifford Chafin; son, Roy C. Chafin; sister, Joyce Payne
and great grandchild, Keegan Chafin.
Kay was a homemaker and a member of the Nolan Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James (Kathy) Chafin of Canada, KY; daughters, Ruth (Clinton) Crum of South Williamson, KY, Joyce (Keith) Hatfield
of Sidney, KY and Theresa (Jimmy) Cochran of Canada, KY; daughter-inlaw, Cora Chafin of Jackson, GA; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Noon in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Taylor and Earl White officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY. Pallbearers will be Eric Coleman, Clifton Hatfield,
Matthew Cochran, Nathan Coleman, Jeff Adkins, Guy Taylor, Ryan Chafin, Brian Gaylor, Harry Catron, Cameron Catron and Luke Maynard.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Sunday and Monday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with
special services Monday night at 7 PM.

Lula Pearl Huddle, age 90, of Newtown, WV went home to be with her
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, November 21, 2015, at the home of
her daughter, Barbara (Roby) Chafin whom she made her home with the last three years.
Lula was born February 21, 1925, at Blacky, VA to the late Scott Hiram
and Lula Violet Aldridge Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also
preceded in death by her husband, John Huddle, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Judy
Kay Huddle and two grandchildren.
Lula has been a Christian since 1954. Lula's life of love for her family,
her church and all her friends will always remain a precious memory to all
who held her close. Lula belonged to the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church, Ransom, KY.
Lula leaves behind to honor her loving memory and morn her passing her children; William
(Connie) Huddle of McCarr, KY, John Huddle (fiancée Rose Thomas) of McCarr, KY, Belvin
(Brenda) Huddle of Hardy, KY, Brenda (Pastor Terry Blankenship) of Lenore, WV, Lloyd
(Flossie) Huddle of Belfry, KY, Reta (William) Stafford of Kings Bay, Georgia, Barbara
(Roby) Chafin of Newtown, WV, Bryan (Kelly) Huddle of Chapmanville, WV and special
grandson she helped raise, David Huddle (caregiver, Cindy Hatfield) of Salt Rock, WV and
special care giver, Beth Hatfield of Newtown, WV. Lula had twenty-two grandchildren, twenty
great grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild.
The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Vickie Hatfield for all the love and
concern she showed to our mom.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015, beginning at 6 PM at R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home, Belfry, KY, with special services at 7 PM with Bro. Roger Bogar.
She will be taken to the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 25,
and her funeral will begin at Noon with Pastor Larry Hubbard and Pastor Terry Blankenship.
Burial will follow in the Pinson Cemetery, Buskirk, KY, with Pastor Mike Smith conducting
graveside services. Pallbearers will be David Huddle, Peyton Huddle, Eddie Huddle, Roby
Chafin, Robert Andrew Chafin, Darrell Justice and Sam Harmon.

Gaythel Marcella Warren (Marci), 81, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, and formerly of the Williamson area, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, in Thomson, GA.
Gaythel was born at Hatfield, KY, to Wayne Smith and Gertrude Bevins Smith on October
12, 1934. She attended Belfry High School as well as classes at Rollins College, Orlando, Florida. Her career included jobs in banking, retail, and real estate. Previously she worked at Watson's Department Store at Southside Mall. Her most recent position was as a Real Estate Specialist with the US Army Corps of Engineers in South Williamson, KY, Miami, FL, and Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church - Ponte Vedra, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Linda Charlene West; former husbands Charles West and Raymond Francis Warren; sisters, Willa Marie Young and Odessa
Bevins as well as a special brother-in-law, Wander H. Hale.
Gaythel is survived by her sister, Winnie Hazel Hale, of Williamson; nieces, Wilma Hale of
Columbus, Ohio, Susan Hale of Williamson, and Frances Wilkinson (Mark) of Evans, GA.;
nephews, Neal Young (Rita ) and Doug Young (Betty) of Pikeville; three great nieces, Prudence
Stollings Evans (Stacey) of Kokomo, IN, Laura Suzanne Stollings Blankenship (Greg) of
Pinsonfork, KY, Carlette Young Stalker (Charlie) of Pikeville, KY; four great nephews, Paul
Bevins, Jr. and Jeffrey Young of Sidney, KY, Charles Brent Hale and Christopher Burgess Hale of Columbus, OH.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, KY, on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 10:00 am.
Graveside services will follow at the Monty L. Bevins Cemetery, Sidney, KY. Father Nick
England will officiate at the graveside assisted by Eb Sesco.
The family wishes to extend gratitude to the staff of Thomson Health and Rehabilitation,
Thomson, GA and Regency Hospice for their support the past several months.

James "Jimmy" Carroll Hunt II, 51, of Belfry, KY passed away
Sunday November 22, 2015, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in
South Williamson, KY.
He was born December 28, 1963, in Mingo County, WV to
James "Big Jim" Carroll Hunt Sr. and the late Elizabeth Reed Hunt.
He is also preceded in death by his dear uncle, John Fred Hunt,
grandparents, Carroll and Mary Helen Hunt, and Woodrow Reed.
He was a teacher at Belfry High School.
He is survived by his father, James Carroll Hunt Sr. of Belfry,
KY, his son, Nicholas James Carroll Hunt of Highland Heights, KY,
his grandmother, America Scott Reed of Lexington, KY, his aunts, Gayle Hunt of Belfry, KY,
Phyllis Hill of Naples, FL, Sadie Chapman and special cousins John "Little John" Hunt of Belfry, KY, Lorraine Smith of Belfry, KY, and Djuna Alderuccio of Naples, FL and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 3-9
with a special service at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church with Father Thomas Nerivelikunnel Chacko and Father Hoppenjans officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy, KY with James Hunt,
Nicholas Hunt, John Hunt II, Calib Ball, Cary Tufts, Mitch Justice, Johnny Fields, Paul "Sarge"
Workman, and Darrell Mounts serving as pallbearers.

Gilbert A. Garris, 87, of Belfry, KY, went home to be with his Lord on
Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1928, in Athens, Alabama the son of the late
Richard Alvin Garris and Nettie Howell.
He found his way to Florida, then to Columbus, Ohio for many years and
spent the last 12 years in Belfry, KY. He was also preceded in death by a
brother, Dave Garris and three sisters, Rebecca Graham, Gayle (Bill) Ison
and Jeanette (David) Ridenour.
He retired as an electrical journey wireman with I.B.E.W. local union
756 out of Daytona Beach, FL, where he was a 56-year member. Gil was a
dedicated Christian man and member of the First Baptist Church of Belfry. He loved the Lord,
his wife and family but had a sweet spot for his only grandson, Nathan. We will miss him very much.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Garris of Belfry, KY; daughter, Kris (Mark) Helton and
grandson, Nate Helton of Belfry, KY; sister, Betty Johnson of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Henry (Carolyn) Garris of Ormond Beach, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2015, at 1 PM at the First Baptist
Church of Belfry with Pastor Mark Helton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY with men of the church serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8:30 PM Sunday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family
request that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Belfry P.O. Box 339, Belfry, KY 41514.

Birdie Mae (Runyon) Bogar, 88 of Narrows Branch, Kentucky
passed away Friday November 27, 2015, at her home.
Birdie was the born March 19, 1927, at Belfry, KY to the late Moses and Polly Hunt Runyon. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ephraim "J.E." Bogar, One daughter, Nedria Stephenson, her grandson, Joey, and Six siblings.
Birdie was a cook supervisor at Hardy and Varney Grade School, a
1945 Belfry High School graduate, the #1 UK and Belfry Pirate Fan
and a member of the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Elsie Ann (Bert) Slater of Lake
Wells, FL., Roy (Brenda) Bogar of Grethel, Ky., Roger (Mae) Bogar, Tom Bogar and Walter
(Debbie) Bogar all of Narrows Branch, KY and Darryl (Brenda) Bogar of Clermont, FL. Sonin-Law, Paul Stephenson of Huntington, WV, and special friends, Jerry and Carol Farley, Nineteen Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren, Two Great-Great Grandchildren and a host
of family, friends and loving church family.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon, Monday, November 30, 2015, at Bluesprings
Freewill Baptist Church with Larry Hubbard and Others officiating. Burial will follow at Bogar
Cemetery, Narrows Branch, KY, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home and after 4 PM Sunday
at Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church with special services both nights at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Appalachian Hospice and Home
Care Health at Pikeville, KY or Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church.
