Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Damron
Gene A. Damron, 57, of Marion, passed away May 29, 1999 at John Cochran V.A. Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.

He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Anschuetz of Clarksville, Tenn.; his mother, Grace Lawrence of Lola; two sisters, Geneva Williams of Marion and Christine Nelms of Lola; a brother, Harold Damron of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; and a grandchild.

Damron was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Damron.

Services were held June 2 at Boyd Funeral Chapel with Revs. Phillip Sanders and Robert Phillips officiating. Military rites were held with burial in Lola Cemetery.

Curry
Mary Jean Curry, 62, of Salem passed away May 28, 1999 at Livingston Hospital.

She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Curry of Tennessee; three sisters, Lizzie Lemon of Allegan, Mich., Edith Dowling of Hollywood, Calif. and Delia Noel of Burna; three brothers, Frank Curry of Nashville, Tenn., Charlie Curry of Augusta, Mich. and Ronnie Curry of Parchment, Mich; and two grandchildren.

Curry was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Verda Curry.

Services were held May 30 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Holloman officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.

Freeman
Services for Charles Robert "Bobby" Freeman, 42, were held June 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Revs. Russ Davidson and Hardin Hosey officiating. Burial was in Deer Creek Cemetery.

Freeman passed away May 29, 1999 from injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was a member of Union Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Freeman of Marion; two sons, Charles Freeman and James Freeman of Marion; a daughter, Casey Bivins of Marion; his parents, Buddy and Norma Freeman of Marion; a brother, Chris Freeman of Marion; and two sisters Melinda Gipson of Marion and Carmen Freeman of Nashville, Tenn.

Pullen
Opal Pullen, 96, of Marion passed away Aug. 27, 1999 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center.

She is survived by three nieces, Marilyn Iddings of Marion, Betty Jane Steele of Sikeston and Mary Margaret Rohrer of Newburgh, Ind.; three nephews, James Johnson, J.T. May and John May, all of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pullen.

Services were held Aug. 30 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Spurrier officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Belt
Billie Jo Belt, 69, of Marion passed away Sept. 3, 1999 at Crittenden Health Systems.

Belt is survived by five daughters, Glenda Curry, Rita Belt and Denise Williams, all of Marion, Terry Moore of Paducah and Donna Belt of Iowa; five sons, William Leon Belt and Roger Belt, both of Marion, Eddie Belt and Darell Belt, both of Salem and Kenneth Belt of Paducah; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Belt; and her parents, Roy McElmurry and Gladys Howard.

Services were held Sept. 4 at the Belt family mausoleum on their farm with Revs. Robert Walker and Lee Bush officiating.

Ritch
Donald Ritch, 59, of Waverly passed away Sept. 2, 1999 at Union County Methodist Hospital.

He was a member of the Baptist faith, a former Boilermaker, a member of the Eagles Club 1717 in Mt. Vernon, Ind. and a former maintenance worker at Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield.

Ritch is survived by his wife, Judith Ritch of Waverly; two daughters, Cheryl Hubbard of Marion and Carol Vaughn of Morganfield; two sons, Ronald Ritch and Roger Ritch, both of Morganfield; a sister, Wanda Berry of Waverly; a brother, Kenneth Ritch of Owensboro; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sept. 5 at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Jim Adams officiating. Burial was in Rosebud Cemetery.

Littlepage
Katheryn Littlepage, 75, of Marion passed away Aug. 29, 1999 at Salem Springlake Nursing Home.

She was a member of Repton Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Littlepage is survived by two sons, David Kelley and Charles Kelley, both of Marion; a step-daughter, Barb Williams of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; two brothers, Randal Stallion of Marion and Dallas "Dick" Stallion of Leesburg, Fla.; two sisters, Glenda Chaffin of Evansville, Ind. and Dorothy Finnegan of Connecticut; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Littlepage.

Services were held Aug. 31 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Boyd
Services for James D. Boyd, 75, of Marion were held Aug. 29 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Porter officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Boyd passed away Aug. 27, 1999 at Crittenden County Hospital.

He is survived by two nieces, Roberta Benedict of Evansville, Ind. and Delores Tinsley of Marion.

Porter
Services for Anna Lee Porter, 69, of Mott City were held Sept. 1, 1999 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hodge officiating. Burial was in Frances Cemetery.

Porter passed away Aug. 29, 1999 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

She was a longtime member of Frances Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are five sons, Dennis Porter, Joe Porter and Eric Porter, all of Marion, Nicky Porter of Mott City and Dale Conger of Fredonia; two brothers, Mike Campbell of Chicago, Ill., and Jerry Campbell of Marion; two sisters, Georgia Felts of Johnson City, Ill., and Nelda Bragdon of Chicago; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Porter; a sister; and a brother. Her parents were Ollie and Odith Campbell.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Frances Cemetery Fund, 117 Lafayette Heights, Marion, Ky., 42064.

Martin
Damon F. Martin, 83, passed away Aug. 29, 1999 at his home.

He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Martin is survived by two daughters, Mary Head of Marion and Charlotte McDowell of Eddyville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Martin.

Services were held Sept. 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Revs. Jack Ferguson and Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Piney Fork Cemetery.
