Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Bragdon
WINFIELD, Ill. - Nelda Faye Bragdon, 71, passed away Feb. 5, 2006.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Kaye Bragdon; a sister, Georgia (Campbell) Felts; and two brothers, Marlon Campbell and Jerry Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Keith Bragdon; two sisters, Norma Louise Hill and Anna Lee Porter; and a brother, Charles "Sonny" Campbell. Her parents were Ollie and Odith Campbell.
A private memorial service will be held in Kentucky at a later date.

Harris
Funeral services for Violet Marie "Vicky" Harris, 69, of Marion, were Feb. 20, 2006 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Garvey officiated. Burial was in Fredonia Cemetery.
Harris passed away Feb. 18 at Crittenden Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Mike Harris of Marion; two daughters, Joan Miller and Patty Davidson, both of Marion; two half-brothers, Blanton Croft of Maryland and Clayton Croft of Marion; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Harris; and her parents, Frederick Vernon Croft and Sylvia Marie Eskew Sutton.

Kentfield
Joseph Franklin Kentfield, infant son of Leslie Sunderland and Jonathan Kentfield, both of Marion, passed away Feb. 18, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Maternal grandparents are Terri and Ken Pryor of Salem; paternal grandparents are Richard and Annetta Nelson of Marion; maternal great-grandparents are Charlie and Shirley Sunderland and Kay Fuller, all of Marion; paternal great-grandparents are Richie Roberts of Marion, Phyllistine Nelson of Princeton and Loyce Nelson of Evansville. He is also survived by one uncle.
He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather Ralph Fuller; paternal great-grandparents Meddie Roberts and Prentice Nelson.
Services were Feb. 22 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Alexander officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery.

Minner
Bob Minner, 78, of Marion, passed away Feb. 19, 2006 at his home. Funeral services were Feb. 22 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Mac Dossett officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Minner is survived by his wife, Shirley Minner of Marion; a son, Charles Minner of Dothan, Ala.; a daughter, Diane Mix of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
His parents, Howard and Ruth Bigham Minner, preceded him in death.

Ferguson
KUTTAWA, Ky. - Services for Leon Ferguson, 83, were Feb. 17, 2006 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Rev. Jim Keegan officiated. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Ferguson was a retired truck driver for the teamsters, a World War II Army veteran and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Cruce Ferguson; a son, Tom (Marybeth) Ferguson of Newburgh, Ind.; two daughters, Denice (Clyde "Bub") Adams of Kuttawa and Diane Ferguson of Memphis; five grandchildren, Zack, Alexa and Savannah Adams and Jeremy and Chris Ferguson; and a sister, Jean Dekema of Dycusburg.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Seth Ferguson; a sister, Louise Mott; and his parents, Young Henry Ferguson and Mable Dobbs Ferguson.

Stinnett
FORT MYERS, Fla. - James R. "Bob" Stinnett, 77, passed away Feb. 7, 2006 at an Alzheimer's nursing home.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; a daughter, Cynthia of Fort Myers; two sisters, Linda Hastings of Calvert City and Barbara Butler of Marion; a brother, Marlin of Goshen, Ohio; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother. His parents were Fred and Ruby Lanham Stinnett.
A private graveside memorial will be held in Kentucky at a later date.

Harper
Helen M. Harper, 87, of Marion, passed away Feb. 12, 2006 at Princeton Healthcare Manor.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Feb. 16 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Cortis Hill will officiate, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Sue Cerniglia of Hollywood, Fla., Thelma Waryck of Chicago and Bonnie Canada of Princeton; a son, William Meeks of Salem; and several grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Harper; her parents, Earnest and Janette Davis.

Hardin
Martha Lynn Hardin, 77, of Marion, passed away Feb. 8, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Marion post and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Victor "Pippi" Hardin of Marion and Richard "Dickie" Hardin of Grand Rivers; two daughters, Teresa Davenport of Lexington and Kathy Edmondson of Chandler, Ind.; a brother, Pete Davidson of Marion; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell Francis Hardin.
Services were Feb. 11 at Mapleview Cemetery. Jeremy Edmondson officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Jennings
SALEM, Ky. - Services for William H. Jennings, 85, were Feb. 11 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. J.B. Rodgers, Rev. Tim Fouts and Rev. David Rogers officiated. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
Jennings was a member of Central Baptist Church in Burna and the VFW. He passed away Feb. 8 at Livingston Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Lynda J. Jennings of Salem; a son, Mike Jennings of Evansville; two daughters, Deborah Jennings and Marlene Reynolds, both of Evansville; a stepdaughter, Melissa Manhart of Hampton; a stepson, Larry Kevin Hall of San Antonia, Texas; five sisters, Mina Gainey of Ledbetter, Alberteen Young of Salem, Rachel Adwell of Kemp, Texas, Dorothy Durkot and Susie Robinson, both of Burna; three brothers, J.O. Jennings of Salem and Claude R. Jennings and Carl C. Jennings, both of Burna; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Jennings; and his parents, Will and Gertrude Johnson Jennings.

Jackson
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Gladys Nunn Jackson, 90, formerly of Marion, passed away Jan. 27, 2006. She lived in Nauvoo, Ill., while she was married and had lived in California for about 30 years.
Surviviing are two brothers, J.C. Nunn of Danville, Ind., and Thomas Nunn of Wilkesboro, N.C.; a daughter, Debbie Glick of Riverside; a son, Ricky Jackson of California; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Jackson; a sister, Cleo Nunn; five brothers, Rudell Nunn, Roy Nunn, Kevil Nunn, Donald Nunn and Freeman Nunn. Her parents were Marshall and Lucy Yandell Nunn.

Jennings
Wallis "Bill" Jennings, 68, of Marion, passed away Feb. 14, 2006 at his home. He was a member of Baker Baptist Church and Bigham Lodge No. 306 in Marion.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Feb. 17 with Bro. Danny Starrick officiating. Burial will be in Rosebud Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Faye Jennings of Marion; a daughter, Pam (Mike) Futrell of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, Harold Jennings of West Cliff, Colo.; three grandchildren, Brandy Jennings of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Courtney Futrell and Kelly Futrell, both of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Jennings. His parents were John and Mary Jennings.
