Funeral services will be held at the Highland Memorial Park Chapel Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. for Margaret (Maggi) Meade, 93, of Paintsville, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 26 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Laura Helmandollar
1945 - 2017
Funeral services will be held at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. for Laura Helmandollar, 72, of Sitka, who passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26.
Burial will follow at the Helmandollar cemetery in Sitka.
Arrangements are under the care of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Phillip Conley
1949-2017
Phillip Conley, age 68, of Oil Springs, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017.
He survived by his by wife Phyllis Conley Oil Springs; three sons, Phillip (Christina) Conley II, Gary (Melanie) Combs and Robert Combs, all of Oil Springs; one daughter, Lisa Stapleton Hagerhill; one brother, Larry ( Sharon) Conley of Oil Springs. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Eula Williams Conley; one daughter, Rhonda Jones of Swamp Branch, Ky; one son, David Hazlette of Lexington; one son-in-law, Mike Stapleton of Hagerhill; one brother, Gary Conley of Oil Springs.
But his proudest achievement was leaving a testimony for the Lord being saved for 40 years. He was also the treasurer for Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church for more than 15 years.
Funeral service were held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11a.m. at Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church with burial at the Conley cemetery in Oil Springs. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Samuel (Sambo) Leroy Burke
1930 - 2017
Funeral services will be held at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. for Samuel (Sambo) Leroy Burke, 87, of Hagerhill, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 26 at his residence.
Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
Arrangements are under the care of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Jim Skaggs
Jim Skaggs, 82, of Keaton, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 at his residence.
His is survived by his wife, Nell Wallin Skaggs of Keaton; one brother, Ralph Skaggs of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; three sisters, Betty Ratcliff and Jane Boggs of Flat Gap, and Mary Barker of Somerset.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Audie Rigsby Skaggs; and one sister, Rhoda Cordle.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 25, 11 a.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Skaggstown cemetery at Flat Gap.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Skaggstown cemetery by contacting the Paintsville Funeral Home at (606) 789-5125.

Shirley Ann Green
1938-2017
Funeral services were held Saturday Nov. 4, 2017, 1 p.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Shirley Ann Green, 79, of Sitka, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 2 at Pikeville Medical Center.
Mrs. Green was born Oct. 11, 1938 in Johnson County, daughter of the late Charlie and Della Miller Simpson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Douglas Green.
Surviving are two sons, Tim (Kathy) Green of Sitka, and Mike (Rosemary) Green of Cynthiana; one daughter, Robin Shepherd of Sitka; one sister, Lora Shepherd of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Bryce Shepherd, Lauren Shepherd, Travis Green, Jason, Green, Jessica Green, Daniel and Ryne Green; and two great-grandchildren, Natalie Rose Green and Andrew Green.
The service was officiated by Keith Albright, with burial in the Green Family cemetery at Sitka.

Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
