Britnee Lynn Blondiau died Thursday of respiratory distress at her home. She was 8. She lived in Marrero. Survivors include her parents, Gregory G. and Amy Montgomery Blondiau; two sisters, Ashlee M. and Hannah M. Blondiau; and her grandparents, Enrae Lanfredi, and Becky and Leon Blondiau. A private service was held Saturday at Mothe Funeral Home. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna.

BERRY, MINNIE C.

Minnie C. Berry, a retired employee of Charity Hospital, died Tuesday at her home. She was 77. Mrs. Berry was born in Folsom and lived in New Orleans. Survivors include a son, Curtis Berry; a daughter, Rita B. Gaines; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 10 a.m. at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park.

CRUM, RUTH

Ruth Crum, a family counselor at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New Orleans for 21 years, died May 15 of cancer at Memorial Medical Center. She was 48. Mrs. Crum was born in Demopolis, Ala., and lived in New Orleans for the past 20 years. She graduated from George P. Austin High School in Alabama and Tuskegee University. Survivors include her husband, Michael Crum Sr.; her son, Michael Crum Jr.; her father, Willie Izer Johnson; her mother, Emma Rogers Johnson; two brothers, Marvin and Jack Johnson of Demopolis, Ala.; and eight sisters, Betty Hunter of Birmingham, Ala., Alice Alford of Los Angeles, Calif., Martha Chinakwe of Montgomery, Ala., Sonja Allen of Jackson, Miss., Allean Bailey of Huntsville, Ala., Patricia, Flora and Willie Mae Johnson, all of Demopolis. A graveside service will be held today at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park. D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Audrey Kelly Curet, a homemaker, died Monday at Chalmette Medical Center. She was 76. Mrs. Curet was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in St. Bernard Parish for the past 41 years. She graduated from F. T. Nicholls High School. She was past president of the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Wives Club and a member of Senior Friends, St. Bernard Chapter. Survivors include her husband, Chester W. Curet; a son, Jerry P. Curet; two daughters, Donna C. Tisdale and Doreen C. Barrett; and five grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.

DiMARZIO, ERMANNO TORQUATO

Ermanno Torquato DiMarzio, owner of Domus Ceramic Tile Corp., died Wednesday at his home. He was 80. Mr. DiMarzio was born in Spoltore, Italy, and lived in New Orleans for the past 54 years. He attended the University of Rome. He was a former senior trade analyst for the Italian Trade Commission. He was an officer in the Italian Air Force during World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a member of the Italian-American Bocce Club. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Messina DiMarzio; a son, Gregory DiMarzio; two daughters, Linda Massicot and Lisa Rabito; and three grandchildren. A Mass will be said Monday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery.

BROWN, FRED C.

Fred C. Brown, a retired foreman with the Jefferson Parish Department of Public Works, died Friday of complications from Alzheimer's disease at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 74. Mr. Brown was born in Scooba, Miss., and lived in Jefferson Parish for the past 43 years. He was a member of James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was on the No. 2 Usher Board. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Bohanon Brown; two sons, Bernard C. and Freddie C. Brown, both of Metairie; five daughters, Joyce Brown-Hensley of Metairie, Mildred Diane Vaughn of Baton Rouge, Sandra Brown-Shepard of Marrero, Barbara Brown-Bates and Michelle Brown-Adams; a brother, Albert Brown Jr. of Jefferson; two sisters, Desiree Washington of Forest, Miss., and Ethel Marie Rogers of Jefferson; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 4228 Thalia St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park. D.W. Alvin J. Clark Sr., an employee of Sav-A-Center Supermarket, died June 6 of cardiac arrest at Memorial Medical Center. He was 66. Mr. Clark was born in Thibodaux and lived in New Orleans for the past 48 years. Survivors include his wife, Patricia M. Clark; two sons, Christopher and Alvin J. Clark Jr.; a daughter, Theresa Simmons; two brothers, Samuel Haughton Jr. of Marrero and Wilbert Sherman; two sisters, Lillie Dede of Harvey and Cora Walker; and four grandchildren. A funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Gaskin-Southall-Gordon and Gordon Mortuary, 1225 N. Rampart St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Woodrow Joseph "Woody" Bergeron Sr., a retired welder at Kaiser Aluminum Corp., died Thursday at Memorial Medical Center. He was 89. Mr. Bergeron was born in Napoleonville and lived in New Orleans for the past 73 years. Survivors include his wife, Elise Canepa Bergeron; a son, Woodrow J. Bergeron Jr.; a daughter, Jessie Brupbacher; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, 3368 Esplanade Ave. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery. Mary Carter Dorsey, a homemaker, died Monday at her home. She was 86. Mrs. Dorsey was born in St. Francisville and lived in New Orleans for the past 63 years. She was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church, where she served on the Mid-day Usher Board. Survivors include her husband, Albert Dorsey; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Roan and Eliza Raby; a brother, Robert Carter; three sisters, Annabell Swazer and Lenora Carter of Baton Rouge and Margaret L. Blacher; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be Friday at Little Zion Baptist Church, 3231 Audubon St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park. D.W. Mary Katherine Bates, a homemaker, died Thursday of complications from diabetes at Slidell Memorial Hospital. She was 53. Mrs. Bates was born in Baton Rouge and lived in Harvey for many years and in Carriere, Miss., for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Bates; a brother, Leroy Holt of Gretna and a sister, Kathleen LeCompte of Bridge City. A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Henleyfield in Carriere. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.

BLAIR, WILLIE LEE JR.

Willie Lee Blair Jr., banquet supervisor at Holiday Inn Kenner, died May 24 of undetermined causes at Lazarus House. He was 40. Mr. Blair was born in New Orleans and lived in Kenner. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He served in the National Guard. Survivors include a son, Corey Blair of Opelousas; two daughters, Dominique and Latoya Collins; a stepdaughter, Danielle Collins; his father, Willie Blair Sr. of LaPlace; his mother, Emma Taylor of Memphis, Tenn.; his stepmother, Gloria Blair of LaPlace; five brothers, Jerome Blair of Memphis, Reginald Blair of Menden, Tracy Blair of Atlanta and Terrance and Troy Blair; five sisters, Sheila Sanders of Houston, Letarice and Deborah Taylor, both of Memphis, and Pamela and Kriston Blair; his grandmother, Emma Gillard; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be today at noon at Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge. Burial will be in St. Mark Cemetery.

Evelyn Marie Stubbs, an insurance industry supervisor, died Sunday at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was 86. Ms. Stubbs was born in New Orleans and lived in Terrytown for the past 38 years. Survivors include two daughters, Joycelyn Kuntz and Barbara Pellegrin; three brothers, Richard, Emile "Buzzy" and Leonard Aufrecht; a sister, Marion Broussard; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Frank L. Weston, a laborer, died May 27 of a seizure at Touro Infirmary. He was 50. Mr. Weston was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Survivors include a son, Reneé Johnson of Detroit; his step-father Anderson Weston; two sisters, Linda Marshall and Angela Weston; and three grandchildren. SMITH, ALBERT JR.

Albert Smith Jr., a retired civil service employee, died Friday of cancer at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 74. Mr. Smith was born in New Orleans and lived in Charleston, S.C., for 11 years before moving to Algiers. He attended Gilbert Academy, L.B. Landry High School and River Height Junior College in Riverside, Calif. He was a former employee of the Port of Embarkation for the Naval Support. He retired after 35 years of service. He was an Army Air Corps veteran. He was a member of St. Matthew's Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ora Mae Lee Smith; three sons, Eric C. Smith of Dallas, Cedric M. and Albert M. Smith III; four daughters, Marie Rogers of Cleveland, Toni Smith Barice, Sandra Smith Duckworth and Seletha Smith Nagin; two brothers, Alvin Smith of Cleveland and Arthur Smith; six sisters, Mildred Smith, Ira Mae Medice, Delores Coleman, Linconia Brooks, Rosalie Raheem and Zenobia Berry; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2725 Ernest St., Algiers. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1020 Virgil St., Gretna, and Friday at 9 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

SCHULZ, CATHERINE L.M.

Catherine L.M. Schulz, a retired teacher, died Saturday at Maison Hospitaliere. She was 99. Ms. Schulz was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She taught at McDonogh No. 31 for 47 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Blanche of Castille No. 154; the New Orleans Retired Teachers Association; the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association; and the Alpha Delta Kappa educational sorority. Survivors include a sister, Irene Schulz Hymel. She graduated from Xavier Preparatory High School. She was a parishioner of St. Raymond Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Court No. 78, M.L. Lunnon, Chapter 4, Ladies of Grace. Survivors include a son, Alton Thomas; three daughters, Nathalie W. Boxley, Oneida T. Polk and Aurelia T. Hunter; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at noon at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 3738 Paris Ave. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
