RAYMOND, ETHEL HENRIETTA KENNER

Ethel Henrietta Kenner Raymond, a homemaker, died Thursday at her home. She was 95. Mrs. Kenner was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 34 years. She was a member of AARP and the Golden Agers Club. Survivors include two sons, Stanley and Clyde Raymond; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and four step-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum.

JENKINS, KEITH MICHAEL SR.

Keith Michael Jenkins Sr., a surgical technician, died Sunday of undetermined causes at his home. He was 42. Mr. Jenkins was born in New Orleans and lived in Harvey for the past 10 years. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington Senior High School and attended Southern University at New Orleans. He was a surgical technician for University Hospital for 20 years. He was a member of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church and The Young Men Olympian Furious Five Social and Pleasure Club. Survivors include his wife, Trina McBride Jenkins; three sons, Ke'Micheal Jones, Kenneth and Keith Michael Jenkins Jr.; three daughters, Keonia Jones and LaKeisha and Keoka Jenkins; two stepsons, Bobby Bullard and Nathaniel Pittman; five sisters, Debra Farve, Desiree Bradley, Hannah Sondra Green, Zeta Ann White and Bridgette Jenkins; three brothers, Karl, Kirk and Romalis Jenkins Jr.; and five grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2308 S. Liberty St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park. Estelle J. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

GRIFFING, SHELIA ANN LEE WILLIAMS

Shelia Ann Lee Williams Griffing, a former pathology technician at Charity Hospital, died Friday of cancer at Charity Hospital. She was 52. Mrs. Griffing was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School and the Urban League Technology Center and attended Delgado Community College. She worked at Fast Tax Income Tax Service. She was a member of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as vice president of the Chapel Choir and Program Ministry and secretary for Vacation Bible School. Survivors include her husband, Orea Griffing; three daughters, Mercie Marie, Marjoree Mary and Monica Michelle Williams; three stepsons, Hilton, Ron and Tony Griffing; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Griffing; three sisters, Alice L. Taplet, Gayle L. Green and June L. Howard; and nine grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, 2510 Orleans Ave. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park. Cooper-Glapion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

JETT, LAWRENCE PERRY

Lawrence Perry Jett, a retired employee of McClellan Air Force Base, died Sept. 6 at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento, Calif. He was 76. Mr. Jett was born in Gretna and lived in Sacramento for the past 50 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Perrylynn T. Smart; a brother, Bernard J. Young of Gretna; a sister, Laura Mae Jett of Gretna; and a grandchild. No services were held. Morgan-Jones Funeral Home in Sacramento handled arrangements.

GRAY, LINDA H.

Linda H. Gray, a photographer, died Saturday of congestive heart failure at Tulane Medical Center. She was 57. Mrs. Gray was born in New Orleans and lived in Slidell for the past 29 years. She was a professional photographer for 31 years and owner of Linda Gray Studios for 18 years. Survivors include her husband, Thomas H. Gray; a daughter, Reneé Elizabeth Will; a stepson, Thomas H. Gray Jr.; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Lillian Gray of Columbus, Ohio; her mother, Mildred Rome Harrison; four brothers, David Harrison of Miami, Donald Harrison of Metairie, Dennis Harrison of Amite and Benjamin Harrison of Lacombe; and two sisters, Gayle H. Van Veen of Nashville and Joan H. Katapodis of Cumming, Ga. A Mass will be said Thursday at 11 a.m. at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

BARLOW, OTTIS C. JR.

Ottis C. Barlow Jr., a welder with the Orleans Parish School Board's maintenance department, died Wednesday at Charity Hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 44. Mr. Barlow was born in New Orleans and lived in Long Beach, Miss., for the past nine years. Survivors include his wife, Emelda M. Barlow; his companion, Lenora Kay Cohen; a son, Luke Joshua Barlow; his mother, Elva Norton Barlow; a brother, Keith Norton; and a sister, Cheryl Pizzaloto. A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.

SAUNDERS, MARY ‘RITA' DECUIR

Mary "Rita" Decuir Saunders, a homemaker, died Saturday of an aneurysm at Touro Infirmary. She was 77. Mrs. Saunders was born in Irwinville and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a parishioner of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church. Survivors include seven sons, Thomas Lallande, Monzell Saunders Jr. and Leroy, Ralph, Edward, Carl and David Saunders; five daughters, Rhonda Duncan, Brenda Vaughn, Mildred Taylor, Geraldine Harness and Aline Perkins; a sister, Thelma LeDuff; 34 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 4700 Pineda St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MOORE, LYDIA BRAZLEY

Lydia Brazley Moore, a retired provisioning specialist for South Central Bell, died Tuesday of undetermined causes at East Jefferson General Hospital. She was 50. Ms. Moore was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a graduate of McDonogh No. 35 High School and attended Louisiana State University at New Orleans. She was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and a member of its Women's Sodality Club. She was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court No. 22. Survivors include her companion, Lionell Daggs Sr.; a son, Joseph L. Moore Jr.; and her father, Zannie H. Brazley Sr. A Mass will be said Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 8321 Burthe St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home handled arrangements.

MILLS, ANGELINA MARY

Angelina Mary Mills, a homemaker, died Wednesday of kidney failure at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was 65. Ms. Mills was born in Lafitte and has lived in Marrero for most of her life. Survivors include two daughters, Miranda Barrington and Janet Ronquille; four brothers, Dennis, Norman, Carlton and Alvin Creppel; four sisters, Rebecca and Josie Creppel, Mercedes Dauzet and Eva Boudoin; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will be today from 6 to 11 p.m. and Monday at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale.

VENERALLA, CHARLES W. SR.

Charles W. Veneralla Sr., a retired construction foreman, died Friday at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. He was 80. Mr. Veneralla was born in Kenner and lived in River Ridge for the past 50 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was awarded the ATO Medal, the EAMETO Medal and was five times the Golden Glove champion of Gen. Patton's Third Army. Survivors include his wife, Alida Albert Veneralla; a son, Charles W. "C.J." Veneralla Jr.; a daughter, Cheryl V. Monk; a sister, Marie Swinney; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will be today from 6 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

RADETICH, OLGA PADDOCK

Olga Paddock Radetich, a homemaker, died Friday at Colonial Oaks Nursing Home. She was 84. Mrs. Radetich was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include a son, Raymond J. Radetich; a daughter, Myrna R. Chaney; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Lake Lawn Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd.

HIBBS, FRANK G. SR.

Frank G. Hibbs Sr., a retired plumbing and hardware sales assistant manager, died Wednesday of undetermined causes at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. He was 72. Mr. Hibbs was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 36 years. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lynch Hibbs; two sons, David P. Hibbs and Frank G. Hibbs Jr.; three brothers, Howard L. Hibbs, Melvin L. Hibbs Sr. and Albert Hibbs Sr.; three sisters, Scharline Wooley, Janet L. Cockrum and Edna Ann Rabalais; and five grandchildren. A private service will be held. Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
