BRONWEN A. FULLER
FROSTBURG - Bronwen A. Fuller, 72, of 163 Center St., Frostburg, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born June 19, 1926, in Wood, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Williams) Rupp. She also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bethaney.

Mrs. Fuller was a retired seamstress from the Michael Berkowitz Co., and formerly worked at the Celanese Fibers Corp., at the Footers Dye Work, and as a receptionist for Dr. Gatten.

Mrs. Fuller was a lifelong member of the Welsh Baptist Church, Frostburg.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Richard H. Fuller; two daughters, Marsha Ketterman and husband Richard, Short Gap, W.Va., and Renee Ruppenkamp and husband Douglas, Cumberland; a son, Richard J. Fuller and wife Kim, Frostburg; a granddaughter, Sarah Fuller; a sister, Barbara Everline and husband Robert, Huntsville, Texas; a brother, John Clancy Rupp and wife Alma, Grahamtown; and two nephews.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Sherrill Dillon officiating.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Western Maryland Hospital Home Hospice Care Unit.

JOHN W. GREATHOUSE
CUMBERLAND - John William Greathouse, 80, of Devlin Manor Nursing Home, formerly of West Second Street, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, in Memorial Hospital.

Born April 6, 1919, in Waco, Texas, he was the son of the late Aaron and Amy Greathouse. He also was preceded in death by one son, John William Greathouse Jr.

Mr. Greathouse was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was the former owner and operator of G & G Trucking, Baltimore, and was retired. He was a member of the Salisbury V.F.W., Grantsville American Legion and Grantsville D.A.V.

Surviving are his wife, Edith M. Greathouse; two sons, John Michael DeVore and wife Lora, and Donald Ray DeVore and wife Lisa, all of Cumberland; three grandchildren, Sandra Gail Bennett, Forth Worth, Texas, Debbie Daughtrty and husband Mark, New Caney, Texas, and John William Greathouse III and wife Connie, Porter, Texas; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted there on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Timothy Monn officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.

JO ANNE G. DIGNAN
LAVALE - Jo Anne Gladys Dignan, 43, of 68 LaVale Blvd., LaVale, died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born Oct. 19, 1956, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of Evelyn Rich of Miami, Fla., and the late Rodney Rich.

Mrs. Dignan was formerly employed by Gee Bee's and Value City department stores. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Jo Anne's extended family, Paul and Nancy Dignan and their children allowed her a love and family values that she never received in any part of her childhood.

Surviving are a son, Justin Dignan and fiancee Amber, Cumberland; a daughter, Stephanie Kalbaugh, at home; three brothers, Rodney Rich, Tom Rich and Teddy Rich, all of Miami, Fla.; and one grandson, Dylan Dignan.

Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

The service date and time are incomplete.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, Furnace Street, Cumberland, MD 21502.

HERMAN N. "PINKY" FIORITA SR.
MORANTOWN - Herman N. "Pinky" Fiorita Sr., 70, of 16808 Blackberry Drive, Frostburg, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Washington Hospital Center.

Born Dec. 14, 1925, in Mount Savage, he was the son of the late Frank and Jennie (Arnone) Fiorita. He was also preceded in death by one son, Mark William Fiorita; one brother, Virgil Fiorita; and three half-brothers, Sammy Fiorita, Raymond Fiorita and Joseph Fiorita.

Mr. Fiorita was a retired press operator from Kaiser Refractories. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg, the Barrelville Outdoor Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1273, where he was a golden eagle.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Althea (Craze) Fiorita; one daughter, Donna Stewart and husband, James, Cresaptown; two sons, Herman N. Fiorita Jr. and wife, Karen, and Donald Fiorita and wife, Patty, all of Frostburg; four brothers, Paul Fiorita, Valentino Fiorita, both of Frostburg, Orlando Fiorita and wife, Louise, Cumberland, and Richard Fiorita and wife, Lita, Baltimore; one sister, Gertrude Thompson, California; four half-sisters, Amelia Fiorita, Frostburg, Emma Lastner, Berlin, Vera Seibert, Florida, and Katherine Nelson, Baltimore; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Eagles Aerie #1273 will hold a memorial service at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Paul Byrnes as celebrant.

Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Dana Robertson, Bob Jones, Robert Mannick, Donald Mannick, Dave Pennington and Larry Beal.

MARIA J. DISIMONE
CUMBERLAND - Maria J. DiSimone, 96, of Furnace Street, Cumberland, formerly of Oakland, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at the Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland.

Born on March 16, 1903, in Ponta Caro, Italy, she was the daughter of the late John and Concetta (DiTraglia) Caporuscio. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Antonio DiSimone, in 1971.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Oakland, and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cumberland, and was the oldest member of the McVeigh Holy Cross Club, Oakland.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Jane "Toni" Eshleman and husband, Joe, Cumberland; two sons, Joseph DiSimone and wife, Peggy, Oakland, and Jerry DiSimone and wife, Judy, Ohio; one sister, Anna Caporuscio, Italy; eight grandchildren, Cynthia Weisenmiller and husband, Ernie, Cumberland, Angela Biggs and husband, Harry, Oakland, Teresa Foster and husband, Bill, Ohio, Ricky DiSimone and wife, Donette, Oakland, Randy DiSimone and wife, Chery, Oakland, Joseph B. "Joey" DiSimone and wife, Mary, Oakland, Mike DiSimone and wife, Michelle, Norfolk, Va., and Mark DiSimone and wife, Liz, Mount Airy; one step-grandson, Joe Eshleman Jr. and wife, Mary, LaVale; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Oakland, on Saturday, July 10, 1999, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Don Parson as celebrant.

Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.

A Christian Wake service will be conducted at the funeral home Friday at 3 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Rick DiSimone, Randy DiSimone, Joseph B. "Joey" DiSimone, Joseph A. DiSimone, Nathan DiSimone and Justin DiSimone.

FLORA A. DOLAN
CUMBERLAND - Flora Anna Dolan, 99, formally of 449 Baltimore Ave., Cumberland, and residing at the Devlin Manor Nursing Home, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.

Born June 13, 1899, in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Lee Fazenbaker and the late Anna (Cornell) Fazenbaker. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Paul Dolan, in 1961.

Mrs. Dolan was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty N. Shober, Flintstone; a sister, Mabel Sears, Keyser, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Cynthia L. Frye officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
