Stephanie H. Shay, 43 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Monday morning, December 3, 2007.
She was born July 22, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan; the daughter of Donald and Sharon (Arvey) Rasmussen. Stephanie married Thomas E. Shay on December 1, 1984 in Brighton, Michigan and he survives.
Stephanie is also survived by one son, Daniel and her daughter, Kimberly; her mother and father; two sisters, Lynn Albanelli and Stacey Geary and her grandmother, Dorothy Arvey.
Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Friday, December 7, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church of Pinckney, Michigan with Rev. Fr. William F. Wegher as celebrant. Family will receive friends at Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney, Michigan from 6-8 PM Wednesday and 12-8PM Thursday with a Vigil Service at 8. Memorial donations in Stephanies name are asked to the Relay For Life.

Lawrence R. Mills, 63 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Saturday morning, December 1, 2007 at his residence.
He was born January 15, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan; the son of Donald C. and Mary Frances (Ogle) Mills; Lawrence married Mamie Cosamano on September 14, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan and she survives.
Lawrence is also survived by one son, Larry of Pinckney; three daughters, Lisa Mills of Fowlerville, Christine Mills of Hamburg and Dawn Mills of Clinton; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his brother, Hal (Carol) Mills of Pinckney.
Family will receive friends 3-8 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Shelters Funeral Home 250 N Mill St. Pinckney, Michigan with cremation following. In lieu of Flowers donations are asked to the family.
Michael F. Cooke

Michael F. Cooke, 29 years, of Whitmore Lake and Pinckney, Michigan died Friday morning, November 30, 2007 at his residence.
He was born on February 26, 1978 in Howell, Michigan; the son of Noel and Barbara (Sears) Cooke. Michael married Stephanie Kania on July 16, 2005 in Pinckney, Michigan and she survives.
Michael is also survived by his children, Michael Jr. and Lindsey; his mother and father; three sisters, Molly Rust, Tammy Cooke and Crystal Cooke; two brothers, Noel and Shawn.
Funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Peoples Church with Rev. Patrick Bonnie officiating. Burial will follow at the Pinckney Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2-8 PM Monday, December 3rd. at the Shelters Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations are asked to the family.
Kenneth L. Sopha

Kenneth L. Sopha, 58 years, of Howell, Michigan died Saturday morning November 24, 2007 at his residence.
He was born June 17, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan; the son of Lawrence and Virginia (Smith) Sopha. Kenneth married Barbara Reum on August 4, 1973 in Detroit, Michigan and she survives.
Kenneth is also survived by two sons, Stephen (Julie) Sopha of Minnesota and Bryan Sopha; his mother, Virginia Sopha of Weidman, Michigan and his sister, Barb (Dennis) Gardner of Fowlerville, Michigan. Ken was preceded in death by his son David, Dec. 7, 1990 and his father Lawrence, Apr. 19, 2007.
Kenneth was a supervisior for Wal-Mart of Howell, Michigan and was a Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Peoples Church 425 Unadilla St. Pinckney, Michigan. Family will receive friends 12-8 PM Wednesday at the Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney.

Genevieve was born on Feb. 17th 1918 in Detroit Mi, the daughter of Martin and Maude (Metras) Amolsch. In her lifetime she has lived in Wayne (Westland), Iron River, and Pinckney, Mi. Genevieve married William J. Henning on Feb. 8th, 1936 and he pre-deceased her in Oct. 1993 after nearly 58 years of marriage. Also pre-deceasing her were six siblings, Eleanor, Martin, Kenneth, Richard, Delores and Daniel. She was the loving mother of Walter (deceased) of Iron River Mi, Jack (Carolyn) of Pinckney, Mi and James of Phoenix Az. Genevieve was the Grandmother of eight, Great Grandmother of eight and Great, Great Grandmother of one. Funeral services will be held at the Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney on Friday, Nov. 30th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Thursday Nov. 29th from noon to 8:00 PM. Burial will take place at the Rest Haven Cemetery next to her loving husband in Iron River Mi. at a later date.
