Brian R. Brockway, 33 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Saturday evening, May 10, 2008 at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell, Michigan with family and friends by his side.
Brian was born June 22, 1974 in Howell, Michigan; the son Richard and Cynthia (Lusk) Brockway. He married Rebekah K Martin on September 16, 1995 in Howell, Michigan and she survives.
Brian is also survived by two daughters, Sarah K and Sophie K; his father, Richard (Theresa) Brockway and his mother, Cynthia (Dale) Bennett; a sister, Christine Brockway; a brother, Andrew Bennett and a step brother, Matthew Cameron.
Brian worked for Hatch Stamping Co. of Chelsea, Michigan and was a member of The Brighton Church of the Nazarene.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at The Brighton Church of the Nazarene 7679 Brighton Rd. Brighton, Michigan 48116. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Brockway family and may be sent to the church.

Anna Josephine Campbell, 100 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Monday morning, March 17, 2008 at Medilodge of Howell, Michigan.
She was born February 13, 1908 in Marine City, Michigan; the Daughter of George and Anna (Burns) Becker.
Survivors include he son, George Matthews of Pinckney, Michigan; Thirteen grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; preceded in death by one son, James.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church 10601 Dexter-Pinckney Rd. Pinckney, Michigan with Rev. Fr. William F. Wegher as celebrant. Interment will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Southgate, Michigan.
Family will receive friends 2-8 PM Tuesday, March 18 with a scripture service at 7 PM at Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney, Michigan.

Louis Kenneth Swarthout, 85 years, of Pinckney, Michigan passed away Friday morning, February 29, 2008 to be with the Lord.
He was born March 24, 1922 in Pinckney, Michigan; the son of L.J. and Florence Gallup Swarthout. He fought for our freedom in WW II and was awarded a Bronze Star Medal.
Surviviors include his wife, Betty; two sons, Ken (Kim) Swarthout of Melbourne, Fl, Karl (Linda) Swarthout of Pinckney, MI, ; two daughters, Roxanne (Fred) Hatcher of Paris, AK, Sue (Dave) Creech of Ypsilanti, MI; two stepsons, Mike (Annie) Roark of FL. and Rodger Roark of TX; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; preceded in death by his son Kief M. Swarthout.
Funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, March 3, 2008 at Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney, MI where his family will receive friends 1-3 and 5-8 PM Sunday March 2. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the Lakeland Trail Baptist Church 5989 W M-36 Pinckney, Michigan

Betty J. Bell, 77 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Tuesday evening, February 26, 2008 at her residence.
Betty was born on August 3, 1930 in Hamburg Township, Michigan; the daughter of Harry and Vera (Bennett) Wallace.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (David) Curts of Pinckney, Michigan; her grandchildren, Melanie (Larry) Woods and Angela (Steven) Simmons; her great granddaughter, Hannah Woods; nephew, Clair (Susie) Bell and her niece, Laura (Gilbert) Spence.
Funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, February 29, 2008 at Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney, Michigan with Rev. Lynn Martin officiating, burial will follow in the Pinckney Cemetery. Family will receive friends 3-8 PM on Thursday, February 28 at the funeral home.

Samuel Gentile, 79 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Friday morning, January 4, 2008 at his residence.
He was born June 19, 1928 in Pinckney, Michigan; the son of Joseph and Emma (Pinnetti) Gentile. Sam was preceded in death by his two sons, Jody (1980) and Cody (1997).
Surviviors include his three grandchildren and his sister, Mary Guise.
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Peoples Church 425 Unadilla St. Pinckney, Michigan with Pastor Patrick Bonnie officiating, burial will follow in the Pinckney Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 to 8 PM Monday, January 7 at Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney, Michigan. In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Peoples Church.
