Passed away Sunday, January 31, 1999 at his residence. Age 72 years. Mr. Barber was born in Saginaw County, Florida, in 1984. He was a retired maintenance supervisor, was a member of United Methodist Church of Dunedin and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Barber was Past Master of the Masonic Lodge Post #155, in Saginaw; The Shriners, The Moose of Clearwater, Fla.; The American Legion Post #7, Clearwater, Fla.; and The Upper Pinellas Singles Club. Surviving are three sons, David E. Barber, Birmingham, Arizona; one brother, Raymond H. Barber, Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren and his companion, Ruth Ulreich.

Passed away Thursday, February 4, 1999, at Huron Michigan.
Age 85 years. Marie H. O'Conner was born July 31, 1913 in Pinnebog, Illinois; Richard W. and Barbara Bray, Plymouth, Indiana; her grandchildren, Michelle, Stephen, Karen, Michael, Mark, Chris, Meghan, Maren and Mallory Bray; two sisters, Dorothy Robins, Bradenton, Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by a son, Michael, and by two brothers and one sister, Clayton and Bernard O'Conner and Margaret Herbert. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 1999 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Patrick M. Jankowiak will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Wake Service, led by Sister Sharon Haskins, D.C., will take place 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Stephen Catholic Church, Saint Mary's hospital Auxiliary or the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Our beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather went to be with his Lord Tuesday afternoon, February 2, 1999, at the MidWashington, Freeland on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Home, Freeland. Rev. Leroy Westphal will officiate with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Freeland. They moved to Massachusetts; John W. and Lori Morford, Saginaw; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great- great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Morford, Portland, Indiana; many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was predeceased by one sister, Annis Vaught. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 1999 at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Minister Kenneth Campbell will officiate with burial in Cook Cemetery. Passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 2, 1999, at Saint Mary's hospital following a short illness. Age 59 years. He was born October 2, 1939 in Argentine, Michigan. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from General Motors-Buick Motor Division in Flint in 1996, after 311/2 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, camping and the out-of-doors. He married Ruth E. Richardson January 4, 1964; she survives him. He also leaves one son, three daughters and their spouses, Michael and Marie Brown, Hemlock; Ann Marie Brown and Joseph Keeley, Omer; Amy and Bill Olvera, Ypsilanti; Andrea Brown, Saginaw; five grandchildren, Ashley, Lexie, Shelby, Will and Benjamin; his mother, Mary Brown, AuGres; three sisters and their spouses, Betty and Doug Blanchard, Twining; Mary Ann Rashotte, Pinconning; Dolores and Ed Jennings, Standish; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father George Brown. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 1999 at the W.L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Walter David will officiate with military burial under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1566 in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and then from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
