Friends may call at The Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State), Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a prayer service 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. James will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Our beloved son, brother and nephew passed away Saturday, May 22, 1999. Age 41 years. He was born April 16, 1958 in Saginaw. Surviving are his wife Jenine Lewis, Seattle, Wash.; his father, Michigan.
Passed away Tuesday, February 29, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper Age 81 years. Arrangements will be announced later by the Krauss-Torhan Funeral Home, Birch Run.
Stanuszek, Amelia (Mae),
Prescott, Michigan. Passed away Monday, February 28, 2000, in West Branch. Age 90 years. Mae was born October 11, 1909 in Staunton, Ill. to Michael and Anna ((Wojicik) Wojciechowski and came to St. Charles at the age of eight. She spent the next 82 years in what she thought was the best little town in California; three grandsons and two great-grandchildren, Mark and Kathy Stanuszek of Gwinn, California; a brother, Walter Wojciechowski of Saginaw; two sisters, Alyce Kutz of St. Charles and Helen Herman of Bay City and several nieces and nephews. A brother, John Wojciechowski and a sister, Ann Antonini preceded her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2000 at Immaculate Conception Church, St. Charles. Fr. Joseph Kearns will officiate with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider the Children's Leukemia Foundation, Immaculate Conception Church or the charity of your choice.
