Services for Stella Smyczynski, 85, of Canton were held Oct. 26 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Mrs. Smyczynski was born April 8, 1917 in Detroit and died Oct. 22 at Arbor Hospice. She was the owner of a grocery store.
Mrs. Smyczynski was preceded in death by her husband, Michael.
Survivors include son, Tom (Judy) Dmyczynski; great-nephew, Stephen (Ruth) Miazga; great-niece, Wendy (Sal) Evola; and grandchildren, David and Laura.

Anna E. Huffmaster
Services for Anna Huffmaster, 91, of Westland were held Oct. 25 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Bartlett officiating. Burial was at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia.
Mrs. Huffmaster was born Aug. 7, 1911 in Duel, Mich. and died Oct. 22 in Westland. She was a retired salesperson at Federal's Department Store in Livonia. She came to the Westland community in 1998 from Canton. She was a member of Prayer Baptist Church in Westland. She also was a member of the Zester's Senior Group in Canton. She was a good Christian woman. She loved arts and crafts. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Huffmaster was preceded in death by her husband, George; brother, Paul Mieske; sister, Freda Adams; and sister, Martha Schmidt.
Survivors include children, George (June) Huffmaster of Oscoda and Maureen (Robert) Juergens of Canton; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Emma Britton of Fla.

Robert F. Ervin
Services for Robert Ervin, 88, of Plymouth were held Oct. 23 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with the Rev. John J. Sullivan officiating. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mr. Erwin was born Dec. 28, 1913 in Jackson, Florida.

Clement J. Bojke
Services for Clement Bojke, 81, of Westland were held Oct. 29 at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial was at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
Mr. Bojke was born Nov. 13, 1920, in Detroit and died Oct. 26 in Westland. He worked as a supervisor in the automotive field.
Mr. Bojke was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie P.; and daughter, Vickie Koontz.
Survivors include daughters, Yvonne M. (Frank) Hinzman, Claudia A. (Jerry) Swims, Kimberly A. (Robert) Eller; brother, Leonard Rusk; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services for Blessing Holda, 86, of Canton were held Oct. 29 at the Chapel of L.J. Griffin Funeral Home with burial at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
Mrs. Holda was born May 11, 1916, in Detroit and died Oct. 26 at home. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband, Walter W.; daughters, Arlene K. (Harold) Burgess, Janice A. (Donald) Rounds, and Joyce A. (David) Butler; sons, Lawrence O. (Janet), and William P. (Joan); 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Frederick Smola, 71, of Canton, were held Oct. 31 at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home and then to St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church for Mass with the Rev. Richard Kelly officiating.
Mr. Smola was born April 9, 1921, in Massachusetts and died Oct. 28 at home. He was a tool maker for an automotive company.
Survivors include wife, Cecilia; children, Frederick (Diana), Ronald (Theresa), and Randolph; grandchildren, Tim (Tamara), Bradley, Brian (Amy), Stephanie (Aaron) and Jeremy; great-grandchildren Christina, Bailey, Spencer, Julianna, and Logan.

John Martin Howick
Services for John Howick, 40, of Canton were held Friday, Nov. 1, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bryan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the BGSU Foundation for the John and Lisa Howick Book Scholarship at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Florida. He was a builder.
Survivors include wife, Tammy A.; son, Stephen I.; mother, Diana Blair of Canton; mother-in-law, Nancy Korpas; father-in-law, Lawrence Hobbs; and grandmother, Adeline Blair.

Mr. White was born Oct. 15, 1924, in Lawrence County, Ky. and died Oct. 23 at Providence Hospital. He worked in maintenance for a manufacturing company.

Services for Margaret Morris-Long, 95, of Canton were held Nov. 4 at the Barber & Lanier Funeral Home in Vermont, with the Rev. Herman Benjamin officiating. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vt.
Mrs. Morris-Long was born July 21, 1907, in Barre, Vt., and died Oct. 27 in Bloomfield Township. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Long.

Services for Vicki Golding, 37, of Canton Township were held Nov. 4 at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home-Canton with the Rev. Gary Morelli of St. Cyril of Jerusalem officiating. Burial was at Cadillac Memorial West.
Mrs. Golding was born Feb. 6, 1965, in Detroit and died Oct. 31 in Garden City. She was a research nurse in the medical field.
Survivors include daughters, Kristi Adams and Ashley Golding; mother, Vicki (Fred) Wacht; father, Mark Adams; and brothers, Todd J. (Jacqueline) Adams, Michael F. (Michele) Wacht, and Paul (Jamie) Wacht.

Gerald Joseph Grady, Sr.
Services for Gerald Grady, 63, of Canton were held Nov. 6 at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church with the Rev. George Charnley officiating.
Mr. Grady was born Nov. 9, 1938, in Philadelphia and died Nov. 1 in Philadelphia. He was a retired purchasing agent for Ford Motor Co., having worked there for 33 years.
Survivors include wife, Mary Grady of Canton; sons, Jerry (Gayle) Grady, Mike (Kellie) Grady, and Joe (Wynelle) Grady; daughters, Lori (Bryan) Andrews, and Janine Grady; brother, Tom Grady; sisters, Ronnie Anderson and Joanne Trainer; and 10 grandchildren.
