Thomas McGough, jet engine mechanic
Thomas "Lenny" McGough of Walton died at 1:35 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.

He was 42.

He was an Air Force technical sergeant and master jet engine mechanic. He coached Little League baseball. Survivors include a son, Thomas "Rusty" McGough of Walton; a daughter, Ryann McKenzie McGough of Covington, Va.; parents, Clara J. Phillips Washnock of Walton and Vernon E. Washnock of Milan, Ind.; and sisters, Jill McGough Pharis of Litchfield and Veronica G. Harris of Crittenden.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.

Marianne Tracz Berry, 66, of Florence, died Saturday at her daughter's home in Walton. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring and a volunteer with St. Elizabeth Medical Center Gift Shops.

Survivors include sons, Marty Berry and Michael Berry, both of Florence; daughters, Susanne Kettle of Florence and Diane Schadler of Walton; sisters, Carol Arch of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Dr. Joan Zajtchuk of Chicago; and 10 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cecilia Church, Independence. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.

Irene "Delia" Boles, 56, of Covington, died at 10 a.m. Friday at her home. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Butch Boles; sons, Donald Iles of Newport and John Boles of Covington; daughters, Rene Dixon of Independence, Barbara Eggleston of Covington and Shirley Mitchell of Florence; a brother, Don Phelps of Richwood; sisters, Ida Schulz of Walton, Alice Iles of Covington and Bessie Grote of Florence; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.

James C. Dodd, 52, of Parkersburg, W.Va., died Thursday at his home. He was a truck driver, a member of Davis Memorial Wesleyan Church in Parkersburg and an Army veteran.

Survivors include daughters, Christine Dodd and Lee Ann Stewart, both of Covington; a son, James T. Dodd of Covington; stepdaughters, Lisa Dye of Parkersburg and Angelia Simmons of Huntington, W.Va.; stepsons, Rev. Shane Simmons of Portage, Mich., and Eric Simmons of Chillicothe, Ohio; his mother, Naomi Hartman of Covington; a brother, Ralph E. Dodd of Cleveland; sisters, Carol Van Buskirk of Covington, Mary Ann Hicks of Foster, Susan Mullins of Fort Thomas, Doris Hicks of Demossville and Janet Barnett of Covington; seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Memorials are suggested to House Calls Hospice, in care of Camden Clark Foundation, P.O. Box 1077, Parkersburg, W.Va. 26102.

Geneva Sturdivant Ferguson, 93, of Williamstown, died Sunday at Grant Manor Health Care Center, Williamstown. She was owner of Village Diner in Ouray, Colo., and a member of Dry Ridge Baptist Church. Her husband, Dewey Ferguson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Norman Ferguson of Dry Ridge; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Verona.

Stephen George Haley, 52, of Covington, died Friday at Northern Kentucky Care and Rehabilitation Center, Highland Heights. He was a former assemblyman with New Perceptions Inc. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Latonia.

Survivors include his mother, Lucille F. Haley of Crescent Springs; sisters, Cheryl Hammond of Ryland Heights and Kathleen Mason of Walton; and a brother, Ronald Haley of Florence.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to Supported Living of Northern Kentucky, 4594 Oliver Road, Fort Wright Group Home, 4594 Oliver Road, Independence, Ky. 41051. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.

Sophia Lee King Hicks, 81, of Union, died Sunday in Knoxville, Tenn. Her husband, Earl Hicks, and a son, Jimmie Hicks, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Phyllis Cuzick of Union, Glenda Fugate of Erlanger and Vada Haley of Knoxville; a son, Kenneth Hicks of Sparta; a brother, Ellis King of Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Mauldin Baptist Church, Tyner. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Funeral Home, Knoxville.

Allen R. Lister, 77, of Ludlow, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.

He was a retired superintendent of public works with the city of Ludlow, a member of the Ludlow Hobo Club and an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Ruth Rowland Lister, died in 2000.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Roland of Latonia; a son, David A. Lister of Piner; a sister, Betty Parsons of Florence; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Allen Lister Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home, 316 Elm St., Ludlow, Ky. 41016.

William T. Loman, 76, of Taylor Mill, died at 3:49 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Dudley Construction Co. and J.E. Harris Construction Co., Fort Mitchell, and was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Covington Lodge No. 1469 in Taylor Mill.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma "Irennie" Coubert Loman; sons, Lee Loman of Houston and Michael Loman of Demossville; daughters, Alesha Rimer of Morning View, Dee Dee Loman and Danyelle Loman, both of Taylor Mill, and Shannon Dalton of Latonia; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Wilson Loman of Frankfort; brothers, James Loman of Latonia Lakes, Wayne Loman, Dodie Loman and David Loman, all of Frankfort; sisters, Ida Slattery, Shirley Loman and Betty Burgess, all of Frankfort; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Virginia M. "Jenny" McChesney, 84, of Erlanger, died at 4 p.m. Thursday at her home. She was a retired bookkeeper with Johnny's Car Wash in Erlanger and a past president of the Kenton County Women's Democratic Club. She also served on the Kentucky Board of Proprietary Education, earning an appointment by Gov. Brereton Jones. Her husband, Norris "Mac" McChesney, died in 2001.

Survivors include daughters, Maxine Glenn and Sandra Harrison, both of Erlanger; a son, William McChesney of Florence; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn cemetery Chapel, Erlanger. Visitation will begin there at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2011 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45208.

Jay Carl "J.C." Miller, 51, of Augusta, died Friday at his home. He was a member of Chatham Christian Church.

Survivors include a brother, Keith Miller of Augusta; and nephews, Todd Miller of Augusta and Troy Miller of Palm Springs, Calif.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Augusta. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Germantown. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Road, Maysville, Ky. 41056.

Ida Jane Bailey Mullikin, 72, of Robertson County, died Friday at her daughter's home in Robertson County. She was a homemaker and a member of Kentontown Christian Church. Her husband, Levi Glenn Mullikin, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Princess G. Fields of Bracken County, Mavis Burden, Patricia Frederick, Glennetta Fryman, Mary Mullikin and Bertia Mullikin, all of Robertson County; a brother, Jessie Thomas Bailey of Robertson County; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were this morning at Robertson County Funeral Home, Mount Olivet. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 1 West McDonald Parkway, Maysville, Ky. 41056.

Winston Barry Sharp, 94, of Falmouth, died Friday at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler. He was a retired teacher, barber and farmer, and was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church. His wife, Emma Grace Cooper Sharp, died in 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Patty Ammerman Hoess of Falmouth; a brother, Joe Sharp of Covington; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were Sunday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Burial was in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 1 W. McDonald Parkway, Maysville, Ky. 41056; or Falmouth Baptist Church, 403 Maple Ave., Falmouth, Ky. 41040.

Benny C. Warren, 75, of Covington, died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke East Hospital, Fort Thomas. He was a truck driver for Tucker Freight Lines and a member of Robert Burns Masonic Lodge No. 163 F&AM;, Order of the Eastern Star Gertrude Chapter No. 19 and Teamsters Union Local 100. He was a member of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame.

Survivors include daughters, Deborah Canfield of Burlington, Janice Smith of Taylor Mill and Sharon Oehlmann of Covington; sons, Mark Beers of Covington and Ricky Beers of Independence; brothers, Jim Warren of Florence and Harold Warren of Harrodsburg; sisters, Vivian Walden, Vera Horn and Gayleen Lahm; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will be there from 4 to 8 tonight, with Masonic services at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Shriners Burns Institute, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.

Wilda Wenzel, 79, of Falmouth, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a farmer, homemaker and nurse, a former employee of Dr. Scholl's in Falmouth, and a member of Mount Moriah Christian Church, Pendleton County.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Joseph Wenzel; a son, Donald Ray Wenzel of Falmouth; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
