James Eubank spent his life helping people

James R. Eubank was a man who liked to help people.
The 76-year-old Latonia resident, who died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas, was a recovering alcoholic who had not taken a drink in more than 40 years.

"I never saw him drink, and I'm 45, " said his daughter, Becky Eubank of Covington.

He worked with a group called The Overcomers, for people overcoming alcohol or drug dependency.

He was a former leader in a club for inner-city Covington boys called Christians United Reaching Everyone (CURE).
