Funeral services for Ella, Mrs. John, Sturm will be 10:30AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at St. James Catholic Church in St. James with Father Thomas Cook as Celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary died at the Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the age of 92 years.

Ella Mae Barge was death by her husband John in 1993, parents Walter and Mary Barge; sisters: Elizabeth Ayres, Edith Asendorf, Hazel Marsden; great-grandson Jack Schroeder; son-in-law Al Warmka; and a step-great-grandchild.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Darlene and Joe Trio of Easton, Ron and Sharon Sturm of Springfield, Dennis and Jan Sturm of St. James, Gary and Joyce Sturm of St. James; 8 grandchildren and their spouses Mark and Kate Warmka of Easton, Connie Baune of Lakeville, Amy and Brian Schroeder of Maple Grove, Sara and Eric Gronholz of Alexandria, Katie and Chad Perry of Alexandria, Michelle Sturm of Mankato, Lisa and Duane Buck of St. Paul, Jennifer (Jay) and Lonnie Stresemann of St. James; 10 great-grandchildren Amanda and Sara Warmka, Jenna and Kyle Baune, Ben and McKenna Schroeder, Emma Gronholz, Maya Perry, Alex and Nolan Stresemann; 7 step-grandchildren Marie and Jeff Schrader, Donna and Mark Sonnek, Janet and Jeff Phillips, Sharon and Randy Kroenke, Mary and Bruce Woitas, Tom and Deb Trio, Gary and Deb Trio, 25 step-great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Martha Sturm of St. James, Lorraine Sturm of St. James, Mildred Dick of Madelia; and brother-in-law and spouse Ervin and Margaret Sturm of Fairmont.

Dorothy (Mrs. Harvey) Krassin

Dorothy (Mrs. Harvey) Krassin, age 83 of Waseca Born in Wilton Township, Waseca County, Minnesota on March 14, 1924, she was the daughter of Emil and Augusta (Schaetzke) Rudolph. Dorothy was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton Township. Prior to her marriage, Dorothy was employed at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca. She death by her parents, one sister, Leona Arndt, and one brother, Alfred Rudolph.

Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 3-7 PM and continue on Monday, one hour before services at the church.Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton in Waseca County with Rev. Glenn L. Korb officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville died Friday, December 7, 2007 at his home.

Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Joel Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National born June 12, 1952 in Rochester, MN to Delmer and Joyce (Hysell) Stier. He worked for MRCI for many years.

Jon is survived by his mother, Joyce of North Mankato; two sisters, Karen Stier Pulver and husband, Tom of Glen Ellyn, IL, Mary Spence and husband, Bill of Shakopee, MN; brother, Thomas Stier and wife, Julie of Mankato; three nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in born on April 30, 1928, in Mankato, MN. His childhood years were spent in Mankato where he received his education and graduated from Mankato High School. Following high school, he entered the military and served with the U.S. Army from 1947 until 1949 and served with the U.S Air Force from 1949, until his honorable discharge in 1953. Leon returned to Mankato and began working at the Mankato Free Press working in the bindery department. Leon passed away at his home in Spencer on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the age of 79.Services are 10:30 a.m. today at Warner Chapel in Spencer.

His parents; two great grandchildren; one brother, Cliff; a sister, Margaret Albright; two nephews and one grandnephew preceded him in died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Waseca Medical Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. John Kunz officiating. Cemetery following services.Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home in Waseca, and will continue on Saturday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. There will be a 5:00 p.m. parish rosary Friday afternoon at the funeral home.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Robert of Waseca; by her five children, Roxanne (Dan) Arndt of Owatonna, Brian McGuire of Bellingham, WA, Matt (Kerry) McGuire of Waseca, Mike McGuire of Seattle, WA, and Blaine McGuire of Apple Valley; by her six grandchildren, Amy and Jill Arndt, Kevin and Kyle McGuire, and Michelle and Ryan McGuire; by her sister, Almarie (Dick) Flanary of Punta Gorda, FL.

She was preceded in died Wednesday, December 5, at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

Lester Wesley Magers, the son of Edward and Emma (Jensen) Magers was died December 5, 2007, after a brief illness at ISJ Hospice, Mankato, Minnesota.

Vivian was preceded in married Frank D. Jensen on June 20, 1948. They moved to Mankato in 1954 where Frank began his dental practice. They raised their five daughters in Mankato where they resided until 1990.Vivian was active in First Presbyterian Church in Mankato, as a deacon and church circle member and as a co-founder of the handbell choir. She was a member of PEO, Jaycees and Toastmasters and a Camp Fire Girl leader. She was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society for 25 years and was a charter member of Reach to Recovery (for breast cancer survivors). She helped organize the Mankato chapter of Reach to Recovery and was district coordinator for southern Minnesota. She received the Sertoma award, in 1982, for her many years of volunteerism.In Mankato she worked for the U.S. Census, Mankato Heart Health Program and ISD 77. Vivian was an avid reader, birdwatcher, seamstress and family genealogist. She loved games, jokes and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her beautiful, warm smile and loving concern for everyone she met.

interment will be in Brainerd, Minnesota. Arrangements are being handled by Landkamer Johnson-Boman of Mankato, 507-345-4574; and Nelson Doran Funeral Home of Brainerd, 218-829-4755.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Minnesota Medical Foundation for Cancer Research at P.O. Box 65001, St. Paul, MN 55164.
