Reba Maxine (Hamby) Hobbs, 82, Springfield, departed from this life at 10:53 a.m. Dec. 17, 2005, in St. John's Hospital.
She was married Louis Glenn Hobbs on March 7, 1942, and to this union three children were death by her husband, Louis Glenn Hobbs; her parents; three brothers, Ray, Rex and Russell; and one sister, Remah Hamby.
Survivors include a son, Bill and spouse, Linda, of Springfield; two daughters, Glenda Sue and spouse, Gordon Elliott, of Springfield and Jana and spouse, Roger Copeland, of Willard; nine grandchildren, Todd and Andrea Elliott, Tara and spouse, Jeff Ford, Rob and spouse, Shannon Hobbs, Suzie and spouse, Curt Ringgold, Shawna and spouse, Shaun Wirth, Carisa and spouse, Mark Long, Ashley Hughes, and Erin and Brandi Copeland; 14 great-grandchildren, Erica and Alex Elliott, Colin Caples, Dalton, Kaitlyn, Denton and Drake Ford, Brianna Hobbs, Kayla and Jacob Winter, Trey Ringgold, Rachel and Wyatt Wirth, and Madison Long; one sister, Reta Watterson, of Mansfield; one brother, Ronald and spouse, Phyllis Hamby, of West Plains; one sister-in-law, Amy Hobbs, of Ava; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial was in Missouri Veterans died Dec. 5, 2005, in Caldwell, Idaho.
He was Interment was in Canyon Hill born Aug. 29, 1963, in Hemet, Calif., and departed this life Jan. 15, 2005, at the age of 41.
Richard was a resident of Ava for the past year, moving from Gainesville. He was employed in construction before retirement due to a disability.
Richard was preceded in passed away Dec. 20, 2005, at her home surrounded by her family members at her side.
She was death by her father, Wilbur K. Carden; her mother, Rosa Laney and step-father, Archie Laney; her sisters, Ethel Parsons, Hazel Joplin, Erma Wucherpfennig, Pearl Draper and her brother, George Carden.
Visitation was held Dec. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Draper Mortuary. Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. at the Draper Memorial Chapel, Ontario, Calif.
born June 8, 1954, at Gainesville and married Hershal Dale Fleetwood, her best friend.
Shirley attended Ava High School and moved to Springfield in 1978. She was a member of the Ava United Methodist Church.
Shirley embraced her life doing the things she loved most, she enjoyed being with her family, babysitting grandchildren, growing flowers, and helping her husband at work. She was never afraid to take a risk, like skydiving in her forties. She had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that would tickle your heart.
Shirley was preceded in born April 16, 1942, at Bradleyville, and entered into eternal rest on Jan. 21, 2005, in Springfield, at the age of 62.
Darrell was a lifelong resident of the Bradleyville community. He served on the Bradleyville R-1 School Board for several years. He was previously employed with Hiland Dairy and Coca-Cola as a distributor. He was serving as a trustee of the Patterson born. They include four daughters, Belinda and husband, Randy Wyman, of Bradleyville, Carla and husband, Lester Platt, of Ava, Lisa and husband, Walter Rogers, and Gaylene and husband, Shane Whittaker, all of Bradleyville; and two sons, Thomas and wife, Michelle Todd, and Tony and wife, Cindy Todd, all of Bradleyville.
On April 27, 1996, Darrell and Susan Sanders were united in marriage and to this union one daughter, Remanda LeeAnn, was death by his father, Russell Todd; one brother-in-law, Billy Herd; one niece, Kimberly Bird; and one step-grandson, Justin Wyman.
Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family and church family. He especially enjoyed singing with his sisters. He was a kind and loving person always lending a helping hand to those in need.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the White River Association Building at Taneyville, with the Revs. R.E. Helsley, Bill Austin and Randy Dalton officiating. Burial was in Patterson Cemetery at Bradleyville.
Services were under the direction of Forsyth Whelchel Chapel.
