Mike Dye, the son of Leslie Turner Dye and Ora Mae (Knight) Dye, was death by his parents, five sisters, and one daughter, Sarah Lynne.
His survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home, Brushy Knob; three sons, Tom Dye, Springfield, Randy Dye, Sheridan, Ark., and Leslie Dye and Diane, Nixa; four daughters, Shirley Dye, Brushy Knob, Beverly Henson and Gary, Cape Hatteras, N.C., Betty Dye and Susie Cook and Lonnie all of Brushy Knob; eight grandchildren; three brothers, L.T. Dye and Audrey of Arizona, Jim and Alma Dye of California, and Darrell and Gabby Dye of Kansas; one sister, Dorothy and Robert Baker, of California; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17 in the Brushy Knob born Sept. 11, 1919, in Ozark County, Missouri and departed this life Oct. 12, 2005 at the age of 86.
Harvie was a life long resident of the Ava area. He and Annabelle Sherrill were united in marriage at Girdner, on Nov. 19, 1938. Harvie and Annabelle were blessed with three daughters. Harvie was a farmer, a member of the Noble Church, and an avid hunter.
Harvie was preceded in Interment followed in the Hilo Cemetery.

Charlie L. Lietch, 82, Ava, born Feb. 16, 1922, at McClurg, the son of Oscar and Mary Ellen (Jennings) Lietch. On Feb. 2, 1946, he was united in marriage to Chestene Turner and this union was blessed with three children. Charlie proudly served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Army from Oct. 21, 1942, to Jan. 15, 1946. He was a talented and well-known carpenter, and built several local area homes. During retirement, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and making gifts for his family and friends. He spent special times helping his children and always wanted the family to be near him. He was preceded in Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 112 and VFW Post 5993. Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Tabor born May 27, 1922, in Squires, and departed this life Nov. 25, 2005, at the age of 83.
Lewis was a resident of the Ava area for the past 19 years moving here from Rogersville. He was a farmer and was employed as a custodian for the Missouri State University.
Lewis was a World War II veteran. He loved coon hunting, playing pitch, but most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Lewis and Julia Mae Davis were united in marriage June 29, 1946, in Mtn. Home, Ark. Lewis and Julia were blessed with two daughters.
Lewis was preceded in Interment was in the Murray Cemetery.
Alpha Roberta Nelson, 89

Alpha Roberta Nelson, 89, the fourth daughter of George Price and Minnie (Kastening) Price, was death by her husband, Otto in l973. Also preceding in Interment will follow in the Ava born June 14, 1923, in Lead Hill, Ark., and departed this life Dec. 21, 2005, at the age of 82.
Ray was a resident of Ava since 1952. He served his country during World War II with the U.S. Navy. Ray Parsley and Virginia Hensley were united in marriage Feb. 22, 1950, in Viola, Ark. They were blessed with a son, James Ray Parsley Jr.
Ray was employed with the University of Missouri Extension for 35 years as a livestock specialist in Douglas, Ozark and Wright counties. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and attended Ava General Baptist Church. He had been active in Ava Kiwanis and American Legion. Ray was an outdoorsman and he loved fishing.
Ray was preceded in Interment was in the Ava Cemetery with graveside services conducted by American Legion Post 112 and VFW Post 5993.
