Milan Grover Bourland, 78, eldest son of Grover Green Bourland and Pauline Nera Clanin Bourland, was married Vera Lorene Reasoner. To this union four sons were Cemetery under the direction of Sheldon Funeral Home of El Dorado Springs.

Hannah Leigh Chance, newborn daughter of Darin and Elizabeth Chance, Grain Valley, was passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, from injuries of an automobile accident.
Frances was death by her parents and three brothers, Bobby, Russell and Johnnie Deck.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home in Rogersville with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Wolford born July 26, 1936 in Bradleyville, and departed this life Aug. 18, 2006, at the age of 70.
Rex was a life long resident of Bradleyville, where he was a beef farmer.
On Jan. 8, 1959, Rex and Wanda Thompson were united in marriage in Brown Branch. He enjoyed coon hunting, auctioneering, rabbit hunting with beagles and fishing. He looked forward to church services and singings. Rex was a member of New Mansion Church.
Rex was preceded in Interment followed in the Patterson born Nov. 2, 1926, in Ava, to the late Bailey and Ethel (Bunyard) Burton, and departed this life Aug. 23, 2006, at the age of 79.
Pauline was a lifelong resident of the Ava area. She had a college degree in teaching. She taught in the country schools at Frye, Silver Shade, Mt. Tabor and Walnut Grove.
She began work for the Division of Family Services in July 1952 as a caseworker. She was promoted to the position of county director of the Douglas County office in December 1972. She worked for the Division of Family Services for more than 35 years before retiring.
Pauline and Burl Sellers were united in marriage in 1946 at Mtn. Home, Ark. To this union two sons were death.
On Jan. 31, 1993, Pauline and John Wilson were united in marriage at the Frye Church in Douglas County where they both were members.
She is survived by her husband, John, of the home, Ava; two sons, Steven Sellers, Ava, and Gregory and TeNeil Sellers, of Ozark; four grandchildren, Bryan, Katie, Brandon and Stephanie, and soon to be Broderick; two sisters, Bernice Steele and Dessie Buchanan and husband, Ivan, Ava; a sister-in-law, Elsie Huff, Ava; a brother-in-law, Bob Wilson, state of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Pauline loved her home on the farm and her dog, Bailey. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening and catching fish with John down at the lake. She loved playing games with her grandchildren and having birthday parties for her family.
Most of all, she loved her family.
Pauline was preceded in Interment followed in the Ava born Dec. 10, 1930, in Lutie, Mo., and departed this life Sept. 12, 2006, at the age of 75.
Dale was a resident of the Ava area since May 2006, moving from Kirbyville. He was employed with Taney County Road and Bridge for 10 years. Dale enjoyed fishing, camping and going to bluegrass festivals.
On Nov. 6, 1958, Dale and Charlotte Henderson were united in marriage in Lenexa, Kan., and to this union three sons were death by his parents; two brothers, Quincy and Frue Reich; one sister, Edna Ledbetter and a son, Curtis Dale Reich.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Henderson, Ava; two sons, Keith Vaughn Reich, Ava, and Kevin Vance Reich and wife Cindy, Branson; four grandchildren, Jessica Maggard, Coos Bay, Ore., Grant Reich, Coquille, Ore., Hannah and Keaton Reich, Branson; one sister, Donna Duggins, West Plains; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Donnie Mize officiating. Cemetery.
Helen Irene Wheeler, 88

Helen Irene Wheeler was born to the D'Arcy family. Helen’s youth was spent in the Almont area where she attended high school.
On June 2, 1942, Helen and Irvine Wheeler were born. Irvine preceded her in death.
Helen was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Ava. She had lived in Ava for the past eight years, moving from Farmington. She worked as a nurses aide and also was an assistant in Central Supply at the Almont Hospital.
Her survivors include two sons and their spouses, Donald and Alma Wheeler, Columbiaville, Mich., and Dr. Dale and Connie Wheeler, Ava; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Herr, state of Michigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Riley Hall officiating. Cemetery, North Branch, Mich., on Sept. 14. The service in Michigan will be today (Thursday) at 11 a.m., at the Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home, North Branch, Mich., with a visitation preceding the service at 10 a.m. Also, a visitation was held Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in North Branch.
A local visitation was Monday, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. The family requests memorials to Gideons International or Ava Victory Academy.
