Jesse B. Nichols
Sept. 16, 1934-March 9, 2006
Jesse B. Nichols, 71, of Anderson, Mo., departed this life on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Mo., after a long illness.
Jesse entered this life on Sept. 16, 1934, near Patrick, Ark., one of five sons born to the late Alva and Ollie (McConnell) Nichols. Early in his life he worked as a grounds keeper for a golf course. For over 30 years Jesse worked as a high voltage electrician through the Local Union #304 in Topeka, Kan., where he retired in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and life on the farm.
On Feb. 29, 1988, he was united in marriage to Karen L. Gilbert, and she survives of the home. Jesse is also survived by three sons, Jeff Nichols of the state of California, and Steve Nichols of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Deborah Riches of the state of Colo., Steve Gilbert of Mount Vernon, Mo., and Mike Gilbert and wife, Shannon, of LoLo, Mont.; five grandchildren; four brothers, Merle Nichols of Derby, Kan., Clay Nichols, Carl Nichols, and Gene Nichols, all of Springdale, Ark.; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Jesse B. Nichols were 1 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2006, in the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo., with the Rev. Jerry Seigel officiating. Visitation followed the service until 3 p.m. Burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, Calif.; six grandchildren, Richard Gidcumb, Shawn Greer, Crystal Puckett, Jerry Puckett, Michael Tarrant and Chris Greer; 16 great-grandchildren; along with many friends, neighbors and other relatives who will deeply miss her.
At Wanda’s request, her body has been sent for cremation and no formal services are planned at this time.

Arthur L. Williams
Arthur L. Williams, 71, of Anderson, Mo., departed this life on Monday, March 13, 2006, in the Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Mo. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006, in the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery near Stella, Mo. Friends paid their respects on Wednesday from 1 until 8 p.m. in the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo., where the family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

Craig Allen Gibbins
July 4, 1962-March 12, 2006
Craig Allen Gibbins, 43, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006, at St. Frances Hospital in Wichita, Kan., following a long illness.
Craig was born July 4, 1962, in Bellflower, Texas.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Hobbs; three sons, Les Hobbs and wife, Jane, of Washburn, Mo., Jeff Hobbs and wife, Dorothy, of Exeter, Mo., Chris Hobbs and wife, Brandy, of Exeter, Mo.; two daughters, Jenny Thomas and husband, Randy, of Cassville, Mo., Terri Henderson and husband, John, of Exeter, Mo.; three brothers, Dewey Hobbs of Polo, Mo., Don Hobbs of Grandview, Mo., Max Hobbs of Racine, Mo.; two sisters, Linda Powell of Wheaton, Mo., Mary Washick of Purdy, Mo.; and 16 precious grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Doyle Hobbs.
Friends were received from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Wheaton Funeral Home, Wheaton, Mo.
Services were held at the grave side at Maplewood Cemetery Thursday, March 9, 2006, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jerry Yarnell officiating.
Interment followed in the Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter, Mo.

Christopher G. Rico
May 14, 1976-May 18, 2006
Christopher G. Rico, 30, of Ft. Scott, Kan., departed this life on Thursday, May 18, 2006, in Ft. Scott, Kan., from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Christopher entered this life on May 14, 1976, in San Antonio, Texas, and later moved to Ft. Scott, Kan., where he married and has three beautiful daughters. Christopher was an easy going young man who enjoyed spending time with his family, writing stories, and playing video games.
He's survived by his wife, Tena; three daughters Pixie, Allura and Daymiyana of Ft. Scott, Kan.; his parents, Ray Rico of Garland, Texas; sister, Jeanette Rico of Garland, Texas; seven uncles; six aunts; and three nephews. He will be missed by all.
Graveside funeral services for Christopher G. Rico were 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at the Restland Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
Arrangements were under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo.
