Farr, Muretta
Muretta M. Farr, age 57, of Versailles, born April 21, 1947 at Versailles, Missouri, daughter of the late Frank Mitchell and Juanita Melba Ferguson Marvin. Mrs. Farr was a homemaker and member of Family Worship Center in Versailles. She is survived by four sons, Donald Snow of Versailles, Curtis Farr Jr., of Gravois Mills, Timothy Farr of Rocky Mount, and Frank Farr of Stover; one brother, Charles Cleveland of Colorado; four sisters, Karen Todd of Versailles, Sherry Luttrell of North Carolina, Lorraine Krivohlavek of Kansas, and Nadine Brower of Nevada, MO; eight grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in Interment will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett. Casketbearers will be Curtis Farr Jr., Lance Newkirk, Shawn Smith, Kevin Burnett, Mike Rose and Wayne Pankow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Muretta M. Farr Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Calton, Andrew
Andrew P. Calton, age 81, of Gravois Mills, born February 19, 1923 in Camden County, Missouri, the son of Thomas Cleveland and Bertha Mae McCasland Calton. He was united in marriage on August 11, 1945 in Versailles with Betty Sidebottom, who survives of the home. Mr. Calton was a retired engineer for Burlington Northern Railroad and member of the Burlington Northern Credit Union. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles. Survivors include his wife, Betty Calton of the home; two daughters, Andrea Joyce Pankey and husband Mike, of North Kansas City, MO, and Diana Lynn Rinard of Olathe, KS; one brother, Grover Calton of Fortuna; one sister, Maxine DeRossett of Independence; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 7, at the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles, with Rev. Gary Petty and Rev. Leslie Howard officiating. Military honors and Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Michael Sidebottom, Randy Sidebottom, Jeffrey Pankey, Robert Pankey, Steven Calton and Stanley Sidebottom. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Andrew P. Calton Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Alexander, Lloyd Jr.
Lloyd M. Alexander Jr., age 83, of Versailles, born December 28, 1920, in Wooster, Ohio, the son of Lloyd Sr. and Wortha Mohr Alexander. He was united in marriage on February 24, 1946, in Orrville, Ohio, to Betty Jane Stocksdale, who preceded him in Interment will be in the Versailles passed away Tuesday morning, September 28, 2004 at his home. He was death. He is survived by his wife Emily Gibbs of 27 years. Mr. McCaslin started work for Douglas Products and Packaging in 1949 and began to purchase the business in 1958 and prior to his death by on e sister Muirel Randall. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2004 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie with father Fred Barnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home. A second service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday October 4, 2004 at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Liberty, Missouri with Reverend Loyd Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel. Burial will be in the Glenridge passed away Friday evening, September 24, 2004 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, Missouri. She was death her parents and one grandson, Dennis Michael Prody. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, at the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie, with Rev. Father Fred J. Barnett officiating. Cemetery with grandsons serving as casketbearers. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the Rosary at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carmelite Monastery in Jefferson City. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

LAFOY, GALE LEAH
Leah Gale LaFoy, age 91, of Versailles, born January 5, 1913 in Oatville, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Meryl Hanes Johnson. She was united in marriage on September 4, 1931 with Robert LaFoy, who preceded her in death by one son, Robert Joe LaFoy. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Danny Owsley officiating. The vocal selection of “When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder” will be sung. Cemetery near Versailles. Casketbearers will be Shawn, Jo Mac, and Johnathan LaFoy, Robert, Jay and Jim Silvey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Eugene, Donald "Doc" Tryon
Donald Eugene (Doc) Tryon, age 73, of Versailles, born October 22, 1930 at Proctor, Missouri, the son of William R. and Ithna Belle Hayes Tryon. Doc was a retired truck driver and U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by three daughters, Debra Kay Tryon of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, Lori Maxwell of Cowlington, OK, and Angel Weaver of Warrensburg; one brother, Robert W. Tryon of Spiro, OK; one sister, Loretta Stevens of Lincoln; six grandchildren, Eric and Amanda Norton, Charles and Heath Owens, Patrick and Starla Weaver, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in interment were in the Versailles Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
