Alisha Lamm
Alisha Lamm, age 15, of Tipton, born July 8, 1988 in Columbia, Missouri, the daughter of Aubrey Earl and Teresa Diane Capps Lamm. Alisha was a sophomore at Tipton High School, where she played volleyball and was a cheerleader. She was very involved in the community and with friends. She is survived by her parents, Aubrey Earl and Teresa Diane Lamm of the home; one brother, David Bryan Reneau of Mesquite, Texas; one sister, Tabitha LeAnn Lamm of Tipton; maternal grandparents, Neil Capps of Versailles, Velma Dalton of Kansas City, and Carol Galbraith of Stover, several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts and great uncles, one niece, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Thompson, Phillip Haynes, Kevin Morse, Josh Hartkins, Robert Cunningham and Willie Ward. Daniel West will be an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alisha Lamm Memorial Fund c/o The Tipton Latham Bank. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Aubrey Donald Woods
Aubrey Donald Woods, age 71, of Versailles, born October 7, 1934 in Versailles, Missouri, a son of George and Inez Newsam Woods. He was united in marriage on August 1, 1959 in Versailles with Lois Marriott. Mr. Woods worked at Kansas City Bifocal in Versailles for several years and later at Fasco Industries Inc. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Versailles. He is survived by his wife, Lois Woods of the home; two sons, Stephen Woods of Versailles, and Kyle Woods of Lake Ozark; one daughter, Renee Reed and husband Dan, of Versailles; one brother, Lloyd Woods of Jefferson City; one sister, Ruth Cook and husband Kelson, of Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Kristen, Samantha, Stephen, Mary, Sara and Michael, and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in Interment will be in the Versailles passed away Tuesday morning, December 27, 2005 at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center near Tuscumbia. She was death on May 5, 1999. Helen graduated from Tuscumbia High School. She was a member of the Assemblies of God and had served as Sunday School teacher and Missionettes Leader. Over the years Helen and Jr. owned and operated several restaurants in Salem, Dixon and Versailles. She is survived by three sons, Duane Pryor and wife Chris, of Versailles, David Pryor and wife Bonnie, of Brumley, and Jimmy Pryor and wife Rhonda, of Salem; two sisters, Wanda Hawk of Eldon, and Sharon Resa of Alexandria, Minnesota; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Reverends Brian Jarrett and Larry Albertson officiating. Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Jason Yeager, Travis Yeager, John Pryor, Rick Letchworth, Josh Pryor and Justin Pryor. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Tuscumbia Assembly of God Youth Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Helen Marie Much
Helen Marie Much, age 78, of Kaiser, born in St. Louis, Missouri, on February 1, 1927, the daughter of Carl and Christine Origliasso Pugliese. She was united in marriage on July 17, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles Much who survives of the home. Helen was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Osage Beach. She worked for several years as head secretery of personnel at McDonnell-Douglas. She enjoyed going bowling, playing bingo, crafts, and spending time with her friends. She was always busy. Prior to her illness, she worked as a volunteer at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son Jim Haywood of St. Louis, Missouri; two step-sons Steve Much and wife Faith of the state of California and Rick Much of the state of Washington; one daughter Karen Warnica and husband Steve of Eldon, Missouri; four sisters Mary Heidman and husband Les of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, Carol Duquette and husband Chuck of Wentzville, Missouri, Fran Mueth of the state of Alabama, and Rosie Ross of St. Louis, Missouri; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2005, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Carol Katherine Gerschefske
Carol Katherine Gerschefske, age 77, of Laurie, born October 25, 1928 in Midland, Michigan, the daughter of Harry and Winniejean Sweitzer Peek. She was united in marriage on June 26, 1949, in Midland, Michigan, with Eugene Gerschefske who survives of the home. Carol owned and operated Twin Oaks Men’s and Ladies Wear for several years in Laurie. She was a member of the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach where she loved to serve her Lord, friends and family. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge, spending time with her children and grandsons, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her family remembers her as being a devoted wife and mother who always put everyone else first, who always wore a smile and had a positive outlook. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son Kevin Gerschefske and wife Shelley of Rogersville, Missouri; two daughters Kathy Hankins and husband Bill of Richmond, Missouri and Kim Lansford and husband Jim of Reed Spring, Missouri; one brother Earl Peek and wife Betty of Midland, Michigan; two sisters Joyce Bader and husband Bill of Midland, Michigan and Bonnie Visger of the state of Connecticut; one grandson Matthew Gerschefske of Springfield, Missouri; two step-grandsons Brooks Olsen and wife Cara of Portland, Oregon and Woody Lansford and wife Jessica of Cane Hills, Arkansas; three step-great-grandchildren Liam Olsen of Portland, Oregon, and Ry and Ivey Lansford of Cane Hills, Arkansas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, at the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach, with Pastor Eugene Moll officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church Columbarium Memorial Garden Project, P.O. Box 155, Sunrise Beach, Missouri 65079. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Florence I. Meyer
Florence I. Meyer, age 96, of Versailles, born August 14, 1909 in Morgan County, Missouri, the daughter of George August William and Mary Ellen Silvey Meyer. She served as Morgan County Clerk for 50 years, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Versailles, and taught Sunday school at the nursing home in Versailles for many years. Survivors include her caregiver and niece, Judy Krattli and husband Dak, of Gravois Mills, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in Interment was in the Versailles passed away Tuesday morning, December 13, 2005 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. He was death by two brothers, Warren and Jim Clark, and two sisters, Marion Ward and Martha Ward. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Versailles, with Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family suggests memorial contributions to Westminster Presbyterian Church, Samaritan Center in Jefferson City, or American Legion Zack Wheat Post #624 in Sunrise Beach. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
