James Clifford Crouch
James Clifford Crouch, age 59, of Versailles, MO, born October 4, 1948 in Holt, MO, the son of Clifford Hartman and Louetta Baber Crouch. Mr. Crouch was a painter. He is survived by his companion of ten years Teri Nations, of the home; mother Louetta Crouch, of Versailles; one daughter, Jennifer Jolene Lemons, of Lansing, Kansas; one brother, Steven Ray Crouch, of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Linda Louetta Tansek, of Waynesburg, Ohio, and Mary Susan Edwards, of Batavia, Ohio; two grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. A gathering of friends and family will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Bank of Versailles Courtesy Room in Versailles. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles. (573) 378-4655

Robert Lowe Jones Sr.
Robert Lowe Jones Sr., known as Bob Jones, of Spring Hill, KS, formerly of Versailles, born in St. Joseph, MO on April 18, 1921 to Dr. Hubert Jones from Kenneth, MO, attending Veterinary College, and Mayrella Adams Jones from Mound City, MO. Bob graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1939 and was an outstanding athlete in basketball, football, and track winning many awards. Because of his athletic ability he was awarded scholarships to Mississippi State where he played football and Iowa State where he attended veterinary college. Not wishing to follow in his father’s footsteps as a veterinarian he left college and tried to join the military during World War II. After being assessed as 4-F not physically acceptable because of a goiter, he took a position in 1941 as manager of the Post Exchange’s at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. At this time he met Effie DeFord working in one of his PX Exchanges and they were death by three brothers, Hubert C. Jones, Dr. James M. Jones, and Burgess E. Jones. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Pastor Barry Fielder officiating. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Mable June Friess
Mable June Friess, age 84, of Gravois Mills, born August 30, 1923, in Jamestown, Missouri the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy Dobson Binkley. She was united in marriage with William Otto Friess in December of 1978, and he preceded her in death. Funeral and Eastern Star services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie. Cemetery in California, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the S.T.A.F.F. animal shelter in Laurie. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.

Robert E. Marshall
Robert E. Marshall, age 66, of Versailles, born July 29, 1941 in Morgan County, MO, a son of Bert E. and Versalean A. West Marshall. He was united in marriage on June 19, 1961 with Donna K. Hess, who survives of the home. Robert was a maximum security corrections officer for the State of Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. In addition to his wife Donna he is survived by one son, Brent Marshall of the home; two brothers, Glenn Marshall of Boonville, and Larry Marshall and wife Linda, of Versailles; two sisters, Joyce Gordan of Kansas City, and Rita Pratt and husband Bill, of Warsaw, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the VA Home in Warrensburg. He was death on November 14, 1988. He was also preceded in funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Al Oetman officiating. Military Honors and Cemetery in Florence. Casketbearers are Bill Stewart John Stark, Chad Roberts, Dion Hibdon, Terry Wayne Watring and Billy Joe Watring. Honorary Casketbears are Claude Cornett, Carl Lindsay and Cleo Fethke. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Geneva Kathryn Fry
Geneva Kathryn Fry, age 86, of Versailles, born February 22, 1921 in Cooper County, Missouri, the daughter of Edgar A. and Anna E. Holman Monks. On March 30, 1946, in Otterville, Missouri she passed away September 10, 2003. Mrs. Fry was a homemaker and a member of the Fortuna United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Ella Mae Evans and her husband David, of Versailles, MO; one grandson, James D. Evans of Jefferson City, MO, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Shannon M. Reyes
Shannon M. Reyes, age 31, of Barnett, born December 14, 1976, in Greenville, Texas, the daughter of Antonio and Marylan Hatchett Reyes. She was united in marriage with Christopher J. Rowland in March of 1997, in Greenville, Texas. Shannon graduated from Columbia College, and was a member of Psi Chi. She was a homemaker who loved her family, animals and nature, reading, and history, but most of all, she was a very sweet, wonderful, and forgiving person. She is survived by her husband, Christopher Rowland of the home; one son, Archer Rowland of the home; one daughter, Arabela Rowland of the home; her father and mother, Antonio and Marylan Reyes of Greenville, Texas; two brothers, Richard Reyes of Quinlan, Texas and Lance Reyes of Greenville, Texas; two sisters, Anna Self and Christy Gatlin both of Greenville, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2008, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Brother Danny Sinclair officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shannon M. Reyes memorial fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
