Donald Edward Leriche
Donald Edward Leriche, 68, of Albany, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at an Albany hospital.
Mr. Leriche was born March 7, 1937, the son of Ed and Montie Leriche of Lone Star, Mo.
His parents and an infant sister preceded him in death.
He married Mary Lou Hasbrouck on Oct. 21, 1966, in Albany.
He was a graduate of Albany High School and was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church.
He worked for Lakeland Publications in Gallatin, Mo., before he retired in 1991.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Lisa Hise and husband Bud, Tingley, Iowa, Linda Lance and husband Eric, Skidmore, Mo.; four grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Charlotte McComas, and other relatives.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
Burial was in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
Memorial: Albany Baptist Church Building Fund in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO. 64402.

Lee Booth
Lee Booth, 77, of Cainsville, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005.
Mr. Booth was born March 23, 1938.
He was a lifetime resident of the Cainsville area.
He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett LeRoy and Bertha (Johnson) Booth; sisters, Mary Ellen Booth, Eva Irene Booth, Madeline Wilson and Madge Palmer, and brothers, Johnny, Leonard and Kenneth.
He leaves a sister, Bonnie Davis, Kansas City, Kan; brothers, Charlie, Cainsville, and Gene, Kansas City, Mo., and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors were Saturday at the Cain Cemetery.
Services were by the Bethany Memorial Chapel, Bethany.

Louise Mitchell
Joan Louise Mitchell, 79, of Cainsville, Mo., died Aug. 29, 2005, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Mo.
Mrs. Mitchell was born March 4, 1926, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Frank and Julia (Roubinek) Peshek.
She married Wilford Wayne Mitchell who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1975.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Shawn Garoutte.
She was a 1944 graduate of Cainsville High School.
She gave piano lessons.
She leaves a daughter, Mary Garoutte and son Jim, Rushville, Mo.; three sons, Dean Mitchell and wife Gloria, St. Joseph, Gary Mitchell, also of St. Joseph, and Lary Mitchell, Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the Cainsville Christian Church, under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton, Mo. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery, east of Cainsville.

Frank McDaniel
Frank McDaniel, 86, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Albany, Mo., died Aug. 29, 2005, in Wichita.
Mr. McDaniel, the son of Milton B. and Flora Elizabeth (Price) McDaniel was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Bethany.
On Jan. 1, 1948, he married Doris Mount.
She preceded him in death on Dec. 9, 1991.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, George, and sister, Lucille Thompson.
He served in the Army in World War II.
He landed on Normandy Beach, and his last major battle was the Battle of the Bulge.
He received five bronze stars.
He retired from Cessna Aircraft as a sheet metal assembler.
He leaves a brother, Gene McDaniel, and wife, Lucy, Bristow, Okla., and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 106, V.F.W. Post 5329 of Albany and American Legion Post 216 and V.F.W. Post 2176 of Bethany.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Albany.

Merle W. Phelps
Merle W. Phelps, 72, of Bethany died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Mr. Phelps was born July 19, 1933, at Lineville, Iowa.
He married June Crawley July 19, 1954, in Princeton.
She survives of the home.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Bethany.
He was an owner and operator of Bethany Diesel and worked for Randy's Auto Service and Premium Standard Farms.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ethel (Hubbard) Phelps; brother Miles, and sister Melba Mehls.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter Terri Fish and husband Roger, Bethany; grandson, Jeremy Fish and wife Sara, Bethany; brother, Bryce Phelps, Friat, Calif., and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Bethany Memorial Chapel.
Burial with military honors was at Miriam Cemetery.
Memorials: Camp Quality or the First Christian Church.

Celia Faye Prewitt
Celia Faye Prewitt, 77, a resident of a Plattsburg health-care center, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2000, at the Little Union Cemetery.

Hiram C. Street
Hiram Cornett Street, 84, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield.
Burial will be at the Purdin Cemetery, Purdin.

John Austin Spainhower
John Austin Spainhower, 79, of Kirksville, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at the Twin Pine Adult Care Center in Kirksville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at the First United Methodist Church in Kirksville.
Burial will be in the Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
