Imogene Neyhart

Olive Imogene Neyhart born Olive Imogene Potter on July 28, 1919 in Clifton City, Missouri to Jabe H. and Iva Zeta Gehringer Potter. She spent her childhood in Clifton City, graduated college from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri and taught school in a two-room schoolhouse in Clifton City. In 1943 Imogene enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, attended boot camp at Camp LeJuane, NC and served in World War II as a staff sergeant in military supplies until her honorable discharge in 1945. While stationed at Cherry Point, North Carolina she met and later death. They were death by a brother, Jabe H. Potter, Jr., who Cemetery in Otterville.

Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clifton City Pentecostal Church, in care of the funeral home.

Mr. Robert N. Nissen

Robert N. Nissen, Sr., 68, of Sedalia, born September 16, 1934, in Lead, South Dakota, son of Matthew Carl and Neva Estella Keeney Nissen. On August 30, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa, he Cemetery with Pastor Ken Tatkenhorst officiating.

Burial will be in the Crown Hill died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at his home.

He was married Colleen Hilligoss, who survives of the home.

Dr. O’Keefe was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He attended Regis College in Denver from 1939-1940 and was a graduate of St. Louis University School of Dentistry in 1945. He was in private practice in the Denver, Colorado area from 1945-1970. He entered institutional dentistry in Missouri in 1970 at the Missouri Department of Corrections, where he worked until 1976. He then worked for the Missouri Department of Mental Health from 1976-1983, when he retired. He served in United States Army Dental Corps from 1953-1954.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen O’Keefe, of the home; three sons, Thomas O’Keefe, of Denver, Colorado, Daniel O’Keefe, of Shawnee, Kansas, and Michael O’Keefe, of Independence, Missouri; four daughters, Maureen Roehrs, of Marshall, Missouri, Anne Larson, of Madison, Wisconsin, Margaret O’Keefe, of Columbia, Missouri and Kathryn O’Keefe, of Sedalia; three granddaughters; three grandsons; and a step granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Vincent Hoying officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary died Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

She was married to Harold V. Owen, who Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Mr. Jewell D. Page

Jewell Dennis Page, 85, of Otterville, born September 25, 1917, in Otterville, son of Ira Mayfield and Etta Lorena Holman Page. On March 14, 1938, in Sedalia, he death by a sister, Ruby Sanders; and a brother, Deo Page.

Private family services will be held at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home. The body will be cremated. The cremains will be scattered on the family farm.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Otterville Presbyterian Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Frances L. Meyer

Frances L. Meyer, 95, of Kansas City, formerly of Sedalia, born June 14, 1909, in Sedalia, daughter of Franklin B. and Luella Mae Duncan Meyer.

Miss Meyer began teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in Kidder, Missouri.

She also taught at Broadway School in Sedalia and at Scarritt, J.C. Nichols, and Pinderton Elementary Schools in the Kansas City District.

Survivors include her cousins, Helen V. Norton and Nancy L. Pate. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Harold Edwin Meyer; and a sister, Mary Helen Meyer.

A memorial service for Frances and her sister, Mary Helen, was held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2004, at Kingswood Manor in Kansas City.

Graveside services and burial were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2004, at Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family suggested memorial contributions to Kingswood Endowment Fund.
