Edith Creed, Otterville

Edith Ann Creed, 68, of Otterville, born Jan. 29, 1939, in Warsaw, the daughter of Harry and Mary Krueger Gerdts. She grew up in Lincoln and attended school there. She later lived in Iowa and Seattle, Wash. On October 16, 1962, she was united in marriage to Robert Creed, who survives of the home.

She and her husband made their home in Lincoln and Otterville. She was employed as a dispatcher for Gardner Denver Inc., in Sedalia, and a Park Attendant for the Corps of Engineers.

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by three sons, Vernon Anderson, and his wife Debbie, of Otterville, Jerry Allen Anderson, of Kansas City, Mo. and Richard Anderson, and his fiancé, Susie, of Ozark; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois, Carolyn and Dorothy; and two half-brothers, Chuck and Carl.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, in Lincoln. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. the day of the service.
