Barbara J. Pfieffer, 1929-2004, Sedalia

Barbara Josephine Pfieffer, 75, of Sedalia, born May 24, 1929, in Warrensburg, a daughter of Charles Raymond and Fluerest Kathern Collins Copas. On Sept. 10, 1949, she was died Sept. 7, 1990. On May 18, 1996, she was died Aug. 3, 1998.

Mrs. Pfieffer was raised and educated in Warrensburg. She was a 1947 graduate of Warrensburg High School. She was a sales clerk for Tempo department store in Sedalia. She also worked in food service and in the gift shop at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sedalia. She enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Surviving are two sons, Tom L. Hutchings, of Smithton, and Richard Ray Hutchings Sr., of Harper's Ferry, Va.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Copas.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dwayne Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Hayes, Richard Hutchings Jr., Matthew Dugan, Brandon Hutchings, Darrel Hayes and Rodney Julander. Burial will be in Sunset Hill died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Carmel Hills Living Center in Independence.

She was died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was married to Joyce Eernisse, who survives of the home.

Dr. Jones was a member of First Christian Church. He was an ordained minister, a licensed psychotherapist and instructor at State Fair Community College, where he taught behavioral sciences. He received the Governor's Award of Excellence in teaching in Missouri community colleges in 1996. He enjoyed teaching, playing the guitar, fishing and reading. He served on a launch crew with the 549th Missile Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska during the Cuban missile crisis.

Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Jones and Philip Jones; a daughter, Sandra Riddell; a sister, Pamela Justice, of Brandon, Miss.; and two grandsons.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Building at State Fair Community College, with the Rev. Lee Domain and the Rev. Larry Shores officiating. There will be no visitation. The body will be cremated. Burial will be in Sedalia at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Moore Funeral Home in La Monte.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Virginia M. Kercher, 1930-2004, Blackburn

Virginia "Ginny" Marie Kercher, 73, of Blackburn, born Dec. 2, 1930, in Bayside, N.Y., a daughter of Vincent and Pearl Shafer Swislosky. On Aug. 27, 1949, she was Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or to Sweet Springs Villa.

Lula M. Busch, 1913-2004, Warsaw

Lula Mae Busch, 91, of Warsaw, born July 26, 1913, in St. Joseph, a daughter of Jesse and Mamie McCall. In the early 1930s, she was died in 1967. On June 30, 1970, she was Cemetery in St. Joseph. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Gideon's, in care of the funeral home.

Nora Stockman, 1919-2004, Sweet Springs

Nora Stockman, 85, of rural Sweet Springs, born June 30, 1919, in Sweet Springs, a daughter of Carl F. and Anna Louise Weber Langewisch. On Dec. 26, 1939, she was Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rob Vance, Tommy Moore, Mike Long, Dan Hoyer, Jacob Martin and Jared Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Cummings, Josh Howison and Zach Heagy.

Visitation will be from 10 until service time Monday at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Cross Church, in care of the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Martha A. Gregory, 1966-2004, Houstonia

Martha Ann Wille Gregory, 38, of Houstonia, born Jan. 30, 1966, in St. Joseph, a daughter of Vernon W. and Mary J. Kneller Wille. On Sept. 3, 1994, in Sedalia, she was Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Edwards, Robert Edwards, Joe Horecek, John Michael, Dean Spease and Charles Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Hathaway, Melinda Liles, Lynda Edson and Sheri Gregory.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, where the family will receive visitors from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a scholarship fund for Hanna and Emily Gregory, or the charity of the donor's choice, in care of the funeral home.
